Slightly off topic.

DH decided he wanted DS11 to see the movie Encino Man starring Sean Astin, Pauly Shore and Brendan Fraser. Sean Astin's character "Dave" has the hots for a girl named "Robyn" that he use to be friends with but would now like to be more. The actor playing Robyn looked very familier to me but it took me a few minutes to place her. She is Megan Ward (Kate)! Wow does she look young!

I like the idea of the toxin storyline.. .however it has big,, gaping holes. I know I watch gh with my tv rose colored glasses on.. suspended believe in reality.
I wish the writers would have done more research on what REALLY would happen in a hospital if a toxic substance release did occur. I know at the the hospitals I worked at over the years we had numerous disaster drills of all types. So getting disaster drill info would have been easy to get for any of the writers.

I say we all drink a few Naked Nymphs. .. before we watch gh the next few weeks! They may make the story a bit more easy to swallow.

Lucky and Liz... I have always wanted them back together... but no longer.. they have been apart too long, they forged a strong bond after the divorce, both moved on to new partners.. why oh why would gh back track and Force them back together now? something is up somewhere.....

While I enjoy Natasha Livingston.. aka Emily... I am not sure I like another actor returning to the gh canvas as a new character. I am still dealing with old Carly, New Carly, Claudia....

Spinelli and Maxie.... please keep these two on a path to a love connection... I think Winifred is a good distraction... but I hope tptb keep moving forward with Spinelli and Maxie

oh.. and did anybody else notice Carly's benefit looked a bit lackluster... no decorations, maybe only a dozen people in attendance....odd.. just odd...

Carly's "benefit" reminded me of the old punch and cookies type school dance! In fact my DDs Middle School dances are better decorated. I mean, a hospital board room when you own a freakin' hotel? Sheesh, they must be trying to economize over at ABC! So much of this is unbelievable, Robin calling the hospital and demanding that they send a nurse that is on duty to her house to watch her baby so she can attend a benefit? Heck, my DH is a doctor and we would never even think of doing something as lame brained as that! We lived in a small town when our older DD was born a month premature with the need for O2 for a week. I was nursing her, if we went anywhere, like the dinner parties and receptions we were obligated to attend, she went too! I could never imagine telling the hospital to send me a babysitter. Talk about a sense of entitlement, even if it is TV it makes my blood boil for people to write that stuff!

I was thinking the same thing. Where's the band? The meal? It's just some people standing around. And why didn't Luke escort his "beloved" Tracy? I mean, he just recently professed his great love for her and he still isn't seen with her? Did they have at least a mention of why she came alone?

Johnny and Maxie come across Robin lying in the snow with Emma nowhere in sight.
Claudia is overcome before she can blurt out the truth about Anthony.
Anthony takes steps to silence Claudia forever.
Sam and Jason cannot help but notice the obvious love between Lucky and Elizabeth.
Matt blames himself for the terrible chain of events at the hospital.
Jason realizes that a sphere is missing from the operating room.
The sudden presence of Sonny in Claudia's room throws a wrench in Anthony's plans to kill her.
Robin scoops up Emma and heads to the hospital after realizing that she's burning up with fever.
Patrick is petrified when he receives a message from Robin telling him that she's on her way to the hospital with Emma in tow.
After Jason rushes a man threatening to break down the door, Sam accidentally shoots him in the arm.
Sonny confronts Anthony and comes dangerously close to killing him until Jason tells him that they need Anthony alive.
Anthony flees after Sonny knocks Jason out.
Ric confronts Claudia over her betrayal.
Luke and Ethan realize that they are cut from the same cloth and play a nice game of tit for tat with one another.
Trevor is stunned to see that Anthony can walk and comes to the quick realization that he was the one who shot Kate.
Kate thinks that she may have another chance with Sonny once Anthony is out of the way.
At Kate's urging Olivia returns to the boardroom to retrieve the DVD, but finds that it's missing.

I am so disapointed in the show lately. I don't know how they can salvage it. I've been watching for 30+ years. When I was in college I would pick my courses around GH. Lately I tivo every episode so I can ff through more than half of the show, I just can't stand to watch the whole show thing any more.
If Liz and Lucky are getting together again, I'm done.

I just don't get it. I know that soaps like to draw out letting couples get together, but geez we have waited years for Jason and Liz. It is TIME!!
I can't believe that there are that many folks clammaring (sp?) for a Lucky/Liz reunion!! I actually liked Sam and Lucky together. She has become more of the person that she was in the beginning(without trying to scam people) and Lucky has become more like someone you could like again instead of such a jerk. The writers made him almost unrecognizable for so long there.
AND..Spinelli and Maxi..If they are really going to mess with these two, then I am very upset. They have been building this since Georgie died. What a waste! Oh well, guess I'll watch House Hunters at 10pm instead of Soapnet

General Hospital Spoilers!

Here's the Scoop! 02.02.09

**Are Johnny and Maxie doing the deed? We've SPECULATED a chem test for the pair (I actually think they're good together) BUT will they get the ultimate chem test with a roll in the hay? Are we in store for another GH Quad? I'm still pretty sure that Matt and Maxie will be teased/tested as well as Frons wants that Cook - Storms reunion. The LATEST RUMORS seem to suggest that Matt and Lulu will share some time together. Will the new quad be Lulu-Johnny-Maxie-Matt? What about Spinelli? It LOOKS like Winnie will be sticking around and don't count out Ethan as the con man is RUMORED to be mixing it up with Lesley Lu Spencer as well.

Who is Ethan? Is he Dante? Is he tied to Port Chuck through his parental units? RUMORS are all over the place for the character of Ethan. I got a little chuckle out of one RUMOR that had Ethan as Frisco Jones' son making him Maxie's brother. While I would love to see Maxie with more family, I doubt Ethan is Frisco's kid. EARLY RUMORS had the con's family having history with Luke Spencer. The most popular THEORY is that Ethan is Dante.

Is Sam shooting someone? Jason tries to control an out of control man who is trying to get out of the hospital. Is Sam getting a little trigger happy? That's a RUMOR out there. She is SUPPOSED to shoot someone in the arm but it's not clear if it's the day player getting shot or Jason. I'm going to ASSUME it's the day player as Jason will be busy being hero. Should Sam be firing guns with gas seeping through the vents of GH? Will this be what sparks an explosion?

Anthony can walk and Trevor will find out. He'll also figure out that Anthony was the one who shot Kate.

The DVD is missing and Kate needs it. She'll even beg her cousin to return to the boardroom to look for it. Too bad it's gone. So is a toxic ball. Jason realizes that one of the four remaining spheres is missing from the Operating Room (OR). Who is the thief amongst the crisis?

Sonny and Carly trapped together in a crisis again. I realize there are still some die-hard Carson fans but do we really need these two trapped together during every crisis? Thankfully, nothing seems to point to them sleeping together. I should say, I do like Carly and Sonny but I also like Carly and Jax. Right now, I want more CarJax.
My wishes most likely will not be coming true as Carly and Jax share moments during the crisis but the RUMORS all point to an end for CarJax. Will this lead to a Carson reunion? Maybe. We've been talking about a storyline for a SORAS'd Michael for weeks now and it SEEMS to be the route they're taking. The RUMORS surrounding the Michael wakes up story all say we SHOULD expect Carly and Sonny scenes that COULD lead to a reunion but will most likely lead to a triangle (as best as GH can produce a triangle) for Carly, Sonny and Claudia.

What about Kate? Where does she fit in? RUMORS have her believing that with ZaCrazy out of the picture, Kate feels she and Sonny can make things work. BUT as far as we know, Anthony isn't going anywhere. We're hearing that Kate Howard is going back to her *****y roots and whatever plan she has, backfires on her. Is this referring to Claudia getting the goods on Kate so that Kate can't spill Claudia's secret?

RANDOM and CRAZY RUMORS… Lucky and Elizabeth are locking lips.

Johnny and Nikolas are fighting. Spinelli gets to play hero but will he have to risk his life to do it? Lulu cries, Matt's shoulder gets wet. Trevor's death means a big payoff for Ric. Ethan is not Dante... they're waiting on someone else.
The new hospital set debuts in April. Just how long is this storyline going to go on for? RUMORS have it taking a better part of February and going into the March Sweeps story. Will General Hospital be out of the medical biz until April?

I would love to see them give Mac a story line. Maybe pair him with Alexis to investigate a crime and let them get close. He would be such a good father figure to her girls.

Go ahead and flame me but I'm startign to like SOnny and Claudia and Johnny and Maxie, even though I like Maxie and Spinelli together too. SHe seems to play off all the guys well, even Jason and Matt. As for S&Cl, I hope she can be redeemed because her character is really beginning to grow on me, or maybe I'm just sick of SSDD (same #&^* different day )

Ditto...I too completely agree!
Ethan is gross. Just when progress was being made with Elizabeth and Jason---the story is dropped. I like Maxie and Spinelli. Don't want to see her with Johnny. (Don't really want to see Johnny at all....Never liked him). Carly and Sonny are DONE! Please don't put them back together.
