Last week I finally was able to get that last night we needed in May at BLT and then called MS to merge that last night. This afternoon received a "Welcome Home" email that didn't have our last night on reservation. I remember MS saying that you may receive a cancelation email & not fret but when I went to My Dashboard and our last night was totally gone my heart sank! I quickly looked and thank goodness that night was still available so I grabbed it. Called MS & they admitted that they made a mistake and quickly went ahead & merged our reservation so no issues. BUT WHAT IF THAT NIGHT WAS GONE! Has this happened to anyone else?
 
I would have freaked out!!!! Did you make a stink?? They have so many new people who I’ve noticed are not reliable. I think one of them changed my BWV std view to pool/garden.

Something similar happened to me once. Instead of merging the night onto my reservation, MS merged it onto a reservation that I was renting out! I wanted an AKV value studio merged but MS merged a regular studio to the rental reservation. I immediately called MS and corrected the rental reservation but the AKV value studio night was gone. I asked to talk to a manager because I wanted that person to be retrained. MS manager wouldn't guarantee any retraining but offered to put me at the head of the waitlist. I was so disheartened that I declined (also didn't think it fair to others already on the waitlist). MS manager said they would give me some pixie dust when I arrived. I ended up with a small underwhelming floral arrangement. :rolleyes2:eeyore:

Absolutely unacceptable. Head of the waitlist? I would lose my ever loving mind if they did that to me.
 
There was somebody a few years ago who lost a BCV reservation because whoever did the merge messed it up completely. Shortly after that merges went from being done more or less instantly to taking a few days (presumably for more experienced cast members to handle it). Luckily this person stalked and the nights all came back a few days later and they were able to book it.

UGH! So sorry!! That wouldn't have done it for me either!

I had stalked the site for so long putting that reservation together and when I saw my last night dropped from our reservation, I seriously couldn't believe it. THANKFULLY I was still able to snag that night or I would have been so HOT!

I do believe you have to check behind them so closely now. I had another MS incident where she put in a waitlist for me to help finish a reservation but she waitlisted the "lock-off" - did not want a "lock-off" but wanted standard. SIGH! I know we all make mistakes but it's becoming a little too common now.

I was fairly stern. I'm so THANKFUL that I was still able to snag the reservation back. If not, yes, I would have been so HOT! Have to watch them so closely now.

Thry should 100% have pixie dusted you into a better room, completely unacceptable
 
Worse things that have happened to me are MS telling me my reservation wasnt using otup towards end of my uy after I called to find out before dropping, MS reassured none being used, reservation dropped and otup were used.

The other was me seeing a reservation I liked and wanting to book, calling for MS to book it because I needed to transfer points, MS holding the reservation and navigating out of it, causing the reservation to disappear 😤 I limit my contact for MS to do things as much as possible.

Yes I'm currently on day 5 of waiting for my reservation to get merged...granted I'm like 6+ months out from check-in so I am low priority I bet. Its definitely not any less frustrating.
