I'm a little surprised he wrote a book. He just seems so committed to getting justice that I thought he'd move on to the next case and leave that one behind. On the other hand, it certainly was a biggie. And he might have to earn some money, if he's out of a job. Whatever happened with those allegatoins of...what was it? The issues with Travis' computer and whether or not there was porn on it? Or questions about his behavior in court. (Which I think is crazy...I've seen some crazy questioning of witnesses by other lawyers.)

Having said all that, I'll definitely read it!

Yep, I'm kinda disappointed that he's written this book (same reason as you, thought he was committed to justice and he always said it's his job) although I think it'll be an interesting read. I wonder if he's donating any portion to maybe some justice group or domestic violence center. My burning question for him is what the hell were you thinking when you dyed that hair?

LOL Wonder if it drips in the humidity. ;)

I am very curious to see what approach he takes in the book. He'll talk about the crime itself and the trial and things about each that we didn't know. But is he also going to go into behind the scene things about Travis's family? Jodi? Her family? Nurmi and Wilmott, and in what way and to what extent? Dr Dicky Samuels? Alyce Laviolette? Cutie ptootie medical examiner Dr Kevin Horn? (Are his fans "hornies"? ;) ) Yeah, I'll read it. :)

I wonder what did change his mind about writing a book. But I am sure it will be good insights to what really went on. Hopefully it will talk about all the things we never got to hear about.

I wonder if he'll go on a book signing tour?
And just a reminder to folks that if he goes on the television ciruit, we'll have to have updates as to what times and shows he'll be on to promote this book. LOL

I know, huh? lol How cool would it be to have a meet at one of his book signings. What an inner conflict I'm having...questioning a bit if he should have written the book, and looking forward to eating it up and his talking about it.

Sad news...Jodes is depressed. I think that's kind of what happens when you BRUTALLY MURDER SOMEONE and then spend THE REST OF YOUR LIFE IN PRISON. Ain't it a *****.

In the good news department...I lost 30 lbs in the last year, and although I wanted to lose more (and still have some time before the wedding!) I found the dress of my dreams for DD's wedding. HUGE load off my mind.

That's great news!! I hope everything else is going along well too.

Anyone interested, James Holmes verdict is in.

Waiting for the verdict now. Of course, I hope he gets the death penalty.

Me too! He is sick, but he knew what he was doing.
I think a judge or panel of judges should decide death penalty sentencing. Normal folks can't seem to do it.

In case you haven't overdosed on JA, there's a new show "Murder Made Me Famous" and she snagged the first episode, Saturday at 9 PM on Reelz. Well, maybe I can get a good Juan fix. If nothing else, I can pick apart how they present the story. ;)

I was suprised by the Holmes verdict, but maybe I shouldn't have been. I hate the "mentally ill" defense. Seems like the more heinous the crime, the sicker the perpetrator, the more likely to be called "mentally ill" and therefore not be fully responsible. Holmes knew what he was doing, period.
