I guess some restitution is better than none, but really I think it cost them more than that. That would not even cover all the loss of jobs. My heart really goes out to the TA family.

So, today TWO years ago, Jodi was convicted of 1st degree murder. It's also the day DD was born! I cannot believe she's TWO! We got up this morning and made pancakes. She's enjoying her Disney Jr shows while I get packed and ready for our trip out west.

I have a two year old! Yesterday I signed her up for Mothers Day Out in the fall. When did my baby girl grow up?!?

Thanks for the tweets usnuz! I was reminded on FB that the hearing was today but didn't see the outcome. I forget to even come to the DIS anymore, sometimes for months at a time.

Took her long enough to comment. Nurmi distanced himself from that fund a while back, unless this is a different fund run by different loonies.

I agree, way to low for compensation. I wonder if the civil lawsuit will be streamed?

And if anyone is interested the Vanderbilt trial has been declared a mistrial due to juror misconduct. So why can't they go after the one in JA trial. So these young men will be tried again. UGH!

I'm a little surprised he wrote a book. He just seems so committed to getting justice that I thought he'd move on to the next case and leave that one behind. On the other hand, it certainly was a biggie. And he might have to earn some money, if he's out of a job. Whatever happened with those allegatoins of...what was it? The issues with Travis' computer and whether or not there was porn on it? Or questions about his behavior in court. (Which I think is crazy...I've seen some crazy questioning of witnesses by other lawyers.)

Having said all that, I'll definitely read it!

I don't think anything from the allegations amounted to anything. He has another case coming up. Don't know if it will be streamed. But I will read his book!

I cannot wait to read his book. The last interview he did after the final sentencing, he was pretty much closed mouth about most things that happened during the trial. Guess he was saving it for the book.

I think more than it about being Jodi, I think it is getting into his mind. It will show how he looks at things and how he does his job.
