I got on this morning to update myself on all things going on......leisurely reading the last page of the last thread----making multi-quote selections along the way.......ONLY to find out that all was in VAIN!!!!! You picked up and MOVED on me, and are already ON PAGE 3!!!!!!!!!!! Chatty girlies, chatty girlies!!! Now I forgot what I was going to say on the last thread, but I will now resume what is going on over here-----LL, would you PLEASE just watch the movies?!??!?! ;o) Hee hee!!!! I will admit, I have not seen 2 or 3 yet, but that is NOT for a lack of trying---Tom and I want to watch them together and in order, but just have not had the time to do so yet. He needs to rewatch #1, and then we will resume with the others. I have a brand new Blockbuster gift card that has Pirates written all over it!!! At least I WANT to watch them!!! ;o) (Please know that I am being COMPLETELY facetious---love ya girlies!!!)

I think as long as you don't lay down a - I believe TK called it "Smackdown" your okay on the Pirates movies.

Obviously we need to have a Lapuette dinner and a movie night or something. (Or Lapu and a movie night).

YAY...we are doing POP 31Jul & 01Aug then we're moving to OKW for FREE DINING 02-15Aug. Now all we need to do is make decisions on where and when we eat and wait for the reservations for the ADR's to open up

Yep, it's not the holiday that we originally planned but as the pound is worth so little now we had to make big changes. OKW is not a resort I had ever thought of but it looks fun and we got an AMAZING deal through DisneyUK. In fact you guys may want to take a look at their site. with the dollar being so much stronger you may get some good deals

I'm not sure about the PTR....I think it may just be the glass of wine in my hand talking but it's nice to know you'd pop in if I attempted one

I really want to go to Disneyland Paris. I am bound and determined to make it over there sooner rather than later.

So I just finished watching "Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl." Haven't seen that one in quite some time. And, maybe, I'll watch "Dead Man's Chest" later on!.... (can'twatch3Idon'townityet...)


Srsly, though....Every time I watch these movies I find something new and funny that Jack Sparrow does. At the end of this one, when Elizabeth goes to stand by Will's side and all the British soldiers have their weapons drawn on them, when Gov. Swann tells them to lower their weapons, there's Jack tucked in behind them making "down" motions with his hands!!! I'd never caught that before!

I'm so glad to hear she's doing well. Since 2SP has checked in, the only person I have left to worry about is PKB.

Sounds great. One of these days I want to check out OKW. It's on my list of possible DVC properties to buy resale from if I ever have the extra money to do so. I like that they have two regular beds if I'm traveling with my family.

It was the two beds as opposed to a bed and a sofa bed that swung it for us too

I love that part. And I'm the same way. That's one of the things I love about watching any film you love over and over, you always find new things in it. I know this happened to me the other night, what was it...I'll post it when I think of it.

While I think Wil is all cute and all, he's nothing on Jack. I got a kick out of listening to the commentary on the first pirates movie and they were saying how Orlando Bloom was complaining that his character wasn't cool like Jack was.

You know, I've never been big on audio commentary, but I love listening to Johnny Depp talk about that role and how much he likes the captain. It's just wonderful to listen to an actor talk about his craft.

Did you all know the reason Captain Barbossa's first name is Hector? I believe that's in the audio on that first DVD. Johnny's talking about how he would improv with Geoffrey Rush, and they discussed reasons for Barbossa's intense dislike of Jack. One of them was that Jack knew his first name was Hector.

I love to listen to that kind of thing, because it reminds me of when I used to do theater. Also, that whole thing about Will being a eunuch? Totally Johnny improving as Jack. Some of the best lines happen that way, you know? And think of how far they went with that storyline too? Just cracks me up.

I really enjoyed the commentary for Pirates, but I'm a big fan of the audio commentaries anyways. Even on films I don't like. I always have to watch the movie and then the commentary.
