You never know, hon. I'm a fan of the budget board, if that helps you at all, you should check it out. There's great ideas on how to make / save money over there, and I definitely find some of the posters to be inspirational.

I do hang out there quite a bit. I am glad that we have no credit cards or I would be really tempted to throw the trip on there but that wouldn't be really good in the long run.

Just wanted to stop in and say "hi!" Why can't things slow down around here a bit so I can DIS more?!?!?!?!?!? At least all the busyness is for good things---trying to get the house ready to sell, and figure out where we are going to move once that happens. I think we might actually build now....we are getting better deals on new homes than on buying a home.....decisions, decisions, decisions.....and yeah, what else still hangs in limbo until we figure this all out???? That's RIGHT.....OUR TRIP TO WDW!!!!! UGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! I know the house right now is the bigger picture, but I SO need a vacation....at least one to plan for anyway!!! BUT if I have to push it back for a few months so we can handle all the moving, building, and whatnot, I will deal with it someway!!! I want to find some links to pictures/floor plans/info on the houses we are considering to get some feedback from you all.....will work on that, and post again once that goal is accomplished!

Hi. We built our house because it was cheaper too. Now mind you our house isn't big but it is a good starter house and it was still cheaper than buying an older house. I hope you are able to find some plans. I love to look at house plans!!!! How is Megs?

Megs is GREAT!!! Out of preschool now, and growing bigger by the day! She can't wait for the next school year to start....so I am hoping she can endure the summer!!!! I am actually looking forward to some warmer weather...still has been unusually chilly around here lately...all the pools are opening up this weekend, but it is TOO COLD to go swim!

You should be here. It was in the 90s yesterday and will be again today. My dd will be in preschool next year. She is already asking when she can go to school. I think she gets board with me. I am nannying 3 girls for the summer so she will have someone to play with.

Yay for you!!!!! Now can he talk some sense into my dh. I am so frustrated as he thinks we need to go visit family again for our vacation. We did that last year and this year I want to do something with just our family.

Believe me. There was no talking sense. I had to let him come to it all on his own.

Tinkerbellarella and BF are NOT going to the World in August.

Now, before y'all oust me as a Lapuette I'll tell you that it is for financial reasons. I cannot justify another trip to the World with the debt I have to pay down.

I just can't do it, Cap'n. I don't have the pow'rrrr! (Go see Star Trek. It was excellent. As was Angels & Demons.)

When I brought the topic up with BF he said that it was fine. If I wanted to go, we'd go but if I wanted to wait that it was a perfectly reasonable reason and we'd make it there someday. Maybe next year.

And while there is a tiny little side of me pitching a hissy, I'm otherwise at peace with my decision.

It's the right decision for me.

And while we make a good time of ANY vacation, heck we make a good time of a drive to the grocery store, I wanted our first (and hopefully not last) Disney vaca to be all about the Deluxe. And while I know we would be more than happy at Pop (it's just SO us) I was seeing our first stay more along the lines of the Poly.

So, my Lapuettes, the ticker is going away, and I'm ok with that. In the meantime, there may be other surprises up my sleeve...
