The Fabby LapuLapuettes Part IV: My Pineapple Needs a Refill!

Welcome.

I know YOU love Jack Sparrow. ;)

...........

Well really I mean how can you not!!....

(by the way LL yes, that was a loaded question!:rolleyes1 )

.

Boycott it, then.

More Captain Jack for me.

And never mind about seeing all the amazing costumes, unbelievable special effects, myriad of characters, and best of all the good captain.

Oh no. We won't revoke your Lapuette status based on that alone.

No no.

Not at all.

:rolleyes1

Her loss! Let her not be completely in the know. More of the Captain for everyone else. Hmmph!

Seriously, that's torture? Sign me up! :lmao:

Well that's my kind of torture! (I have a zero pain threshold). :rotfl:

Oh, what a pain! Is this because of the holidays?

Yes. They condense or eliminate alot of the commuter trains, because it seems most people but me don't have to go to work this week. :headache: Then the trains get overrun with tourists going into the city for the day. I think last night was the worst. I had to listen to some college age guy going on and on really loudly to his friends about why he won't wear deoderant. (And believe me he needed it too). Monday I'll be back to normal again. :yay:

I will say that there were TONS of police out on the highway. TONS. I am really quite lucky that I didn't get pulled over. :rolleyes1

Wow, that's early! I'm so glad I don't have to deal with the crazies on the road for New Years!

That's about how I feel. I haven't watched Saw 4 yet because Marc watched it without me. And I want to see it, it's just the principle of the thing.

I haven't seen any of the Saw movies. Just the idea of them gives me the creeps. I heard there was a needle seen in the first one, and passed on the rest of them. I have a real needle phobia, at least when it comes to getting them myself. (I have no problems at all though watching other people getting them).

You know.

Pfffft.

I don't even know.

There is no aversion to Pirates 3. In fact, I love Pirates. I went to see Pirates 2 in the theater. It's something that Marc and I have always done together. He had never seen Pirates 1 when we started dating so I bought it for him. We went on opening weekend to see Pirates 2, he bought me Pirates 2 for some holiday occasion. We just haven't seen it. SO THERE.

And to accuse me of not loving Capt Jack is just PFFFT worthy.

As much fun as I am having this morning on the DIS with all of you -- I must get motivated and go do some morning chores. The dogs are so hungry they have collapsed again and are sleeping.

Oh, look at that impish grin.

Her loss! Let her not be completely in the know. More of the Captain for everyone else. Hmmph!

Indeed!

Well that's my kind of torture! (I have a zero pain threshold). :rotfl:

You know, I thought I had no pain threshold either, until I handled labor pretty well. Didn't get any epidural until the very end. I was quite proud. I almost, almost made it. :lmao:

Oh, I see. I'm used to my hsuband being off this week, but I forget a lot of other people are too. And with kids out of school, that certainly makes everything busier.

Doesn't wear deodorant? Ewww....

Well...unless it's Jack...in which case we just put up with it. Trifles! ;)

There are very few men in banking. That sounds funny, but in my market, it's a majority of women in the branches with a few male tellers and managers here and there.

One of the float tellers, who is a guy, absolutely loves these movies and was so excited for the fourth one to come out. I can't handle that kind of horror. Not my cup of tea.

You know.

Then why haven't you watched it?

You have no valid reason.

I know what you mean CP. I should be working. :rolleyes1

Just can't seem to get myself motivated to do it. It's dead here this week, and I'm a bit bored.

I feel so honored to have named our new home.....too bad I'm back here on page 2....maybe page 3 by now.

I was emailing a background history report on Liam to the speech evulation person for our appointment on Friday. I really hope he gets some help soon....

Will certainly be thinking of you, Heidi! I hope you get some kind of resolution soon. :goodvibes

The city gets crazy this week. It doesn't help that I work right near a bunch of tourist areas. (Right next door to Radio City, the tree, near St. Patrick's Saks and the AG store). At the end of the day it's a sea of people on the sidewalks. On a normal day I can make it from my desk, to a seat on the train in 16 minutes or so. One day last year during this week it took me over a half hour.

I imagine it's comparable to Disney World this week. Honestly, though I'm sure it's beautiful for Christmas you couldn't pay me enough to be there the week after Christmas because of the crowds. Give me the quiet springs and falls anytime!

My reaction exactly.

I normally don't have a problem with horror films. I don't particularly like them, but can watch them with no problems if I have to. (I get more freaked by films about killer diseases that get accidentally unleashed on the population). Something about Saw though creeps me out. It's the whole forcing people to do this stuff to themselves thing. I watched The Happening this weekend, and while I didn't really like it that much I was getting completely freaked by the people offing themselves.

At least you made it by page 2.

Hope you hear back about Liam soon!

We were just talking about that the other day. Given how crowded it was during my December trip, and that being the beginning of the month, I can't fathom what it would be like this week. I believe it's supposed to be their busiest week of the year.

So not appealing to me. I discovered something about myself. I love Disney during off season. Peak times? Not so much.

Me, too. There are quite a few I can watch without issue, but that always creeped me out.

Holy cow... page three already... not to mention the few pages I had to read on the old thread to realize TK had started a new one!

That's what I get for sleeping in!

I have never seen Pirates 3 either... :rolleyes1

not for any particular reason, in fact, I'd like to, but I missed it in the theater, we never really rent movies and I've never caught it on tv... I've even looked on demand :confused3 so it's on my list still

As long as you don't throw the smackdown, I think we'll let you stay. ;)

Geez, I sleep in a bit and deal with getting returns ready online and look...

PAGE 3! :headache:

At least I made it.
