The Fab Four Hit WDW! Updated: This Time Next Week Posts!

Well a few days ago Rob said "man, I really wish we were eating at Crystal Palace this trip." Me: :sad2:He does this to me every trip, so I should have been more prepared. He doesn't care about dining as long as he gets to look over the menus and "OK" my choices. Doesn't care, nope, not a care. Then at the last moment he pulls out the "why don't we eat here" card.

I told him there was no way that we could get an ADR for 8:00 for CP at this point, no way. He was disappointed, but understood.

Well, I was thinking about it today during naptime and thought I would check to see, and guess what....we have an 8:15 ADR at CP on our last day! :woohoo::woohoo: The park doesn't open until 9, so we will have an empty Main Street. :cloud9:

I cancelled Teppan Edo for that night. Now we can spend the beginning of the evening at MK and when they kick us out for MNSSHP we can decide if we want to go to a park or go back and swim.

I'm going to keep this a secret (try to at least) until the night before. Give a little pixiedust:to my hubby! I hope I can keep it a secret, I know he will be so happy!

Teppan Edo is very yummy and fun but I'm sure ur DDs and DH :) would like CP better. I hear the food is great and maybe one of these trips I'll have to try it too!

What an awesome bit of pixie dust!! You do realize, however, that now your hubby will think you can do magic and next trip he'll say at the last minute, "I really wish we were eating at Le Celier or California Grill this trip" and expect that you'll be able to wave your magic wand and get it.:rotfl:

Can't wait to see your shopping pics!!

He knows better than to ask about LeCellier! When we went in November he said he didn't want to go to LeCellier because B. was so small. Well, B. was excellent so he said "Want to go to LeCellier tonight?" :rotfl: I said, yes, but it is impossible. So, he stops at the concierge and when he asked her to look up LeCellier she let out a little laugh. He learned his lesson!

I am posting my shopping tonight. Not very exciting stuff though.

We love CP and usually eat there our first day at MK. I think he will be excited.

I love how you changed the ADR!! That is so sweet.

Thanks! I'm so happy that I checked.

So, I've starting shopping. I like to shop little by little that way I don't make a huge trip right before we leave. Also shopping this way I can wait for sales on items I know we will need.

Here is what I have so far (all items were on sale/clearance):

IMG_3519.jpg

2 floaty type things for the pool
Click Sharpies. They were on clearance at Michaels.
Disposable Bibs
Shout Wipes (I use a lot of those because I'm a freak about stains)
A Beach Ball (B. loves balls, so this will keep him busy in the room)
And my favorite purchase a Vera Carnaby Zip ID case. I love it. I haven't used it yet, but it is perfect size for my "cards" and I can pull it out of the bag and just leave the big diaper bag in the stroller. So nice!!

I'm sure I'll do a lot more shopping so I'll keep you updated. I put some Disney shirts on Ebay, so hopefully those will sell so I can buy new ones. I want to get matching family shirts but I haven't found anything I like so far.

Hey all! I feel like I have been neglecting my PTR. There really isn't much going on right now with my planning. I need to start making some lists: packing/shopping/grocery shopping soon.

I've also been scrapbooking my butt off trying to get caught up before my son's 1st birthday next month. I'm on Easter '09 and waiting on more pictures.

I also took a sewing class, so I've been practicing that too.

You can just call me Martha. :)

Yeah, it's kind of a downtime for all of us going on Halloween trips - ADR's and itinerary's done, but too early to pack. :)

Sewing and scrapbooking with 2 young ones? You rock, Martha!:worship: I'm embarassed to even say aloud how far behind my scrapbooking is.:scared1:

Way to go on the scrapbooking!!! I am so far behind and every weekend I look longingly at all my stuff -- I seem to keep buying supplies though.

Yeah I know. I feel like I should be doing something but I guess that I'm pretty on top of things.

Yeah, well, I'm having a bit of time management issues at the moment. I have to get that scrapbook done before the party. I just want it done and over, waiting on pictures from snapfish.

The sewing is going well. Made another pillowcase and a little tote bag for A. It's okay. I'm looking forward to learning the right way to make one on Sunday.

I think if Martha saw my house right now she would be mortified! I need like 3-6 more hours in a day.

:laughing:Yeah, why is that! I have been working on this scrapbook for a few weeks and haven't bought a thing because my stash is so huge. I have problems, I'm glad I'm not alone.

Yeah, I'm a list maker too. I used to have little post-it notes all over my desk when I was teaching.

I did some scrapbooking last night, and ran out of tape! I was so mad. Time is ticking away and I need to get it done.

Yesterday I saw on the Dis where they extended the Wishes Dessert party until 10/31. I am so excited!! I showed Rob the party when it first came out and we both agreed that if it were extended then we would go to it.

In November we watched Spectro in front of Hall of Presidents and then tried to make our way to the Main Street area to watch Spectro. Well, we couldn't make it there (the crowds were crazy!) and we stopped by Frontierland. Well this man almost took A.'s legs off because he was pushing through the crowd with a double stroller and his wheel got caught on our stroller and we were yelling at him to stop and he just kept ramming his stroller. Finally this other man just grabbed his stroller and pulled it away (ours was backed against the fence with nowhere to go.

So, needless to say we don't want another repeat of that. So, I called yesterday and was able to get us in on 10/19 for the party! :woohoo: It is expensive, but worth it in our opinion. I'm excited to have all those yummy desserts and a great spot for Wishes!

I'm with Jackie on this one...I longingly look at my scrapbooking stuff often and wish I had the time to catch up LOL!!! I'm still working on January!!! I'm very excited about this trip and I'm doing a Portfolio Album from CM and hopefully that will help things go a little faster for me so I can have this album done sooner LOL!!! That reminds me I need to go add more prints to my card and get Digital storybook LOL!!!!!

I also booked the Wishes Dessert Party for me and Paula yesterday!! I'm so excited! A great few of Wishes and some amazing desserts, I'm very very excited!!

The Wishes Dessert party sounds so fantastic! Can't wait to hear all about it and see the pics. There are some stroller crazed nuts in WDW for sure.

Ah... my scrapbooking mess is put away, but after two birthdays and start of school I am already behind. I need to get back in a routine before I attempt to do more pages though.

The Wishes Dessert Party sounds like a great idea, especially for a family with young kids. Those crowds can get vicious around Spectromagic/Wishes times. My DF and I had a horrendous time trying to get across the park...and it was just the two of us and we had no fear of getting separated. I couldn't imagine trying to do with two young children. Good for you guys! :thumbsup2
