The Earls meet the Princesses:A June PTR *6/13 WE LEAVE IN THE MORNING!*

Convenience it is! Eh, strollers are not going anywhere! It is just one more thing to move around the car, the garage, etc. etc.

More importantly -- 40 days away is a great trip!
:goodvibes

That is exactly what my DH said months ago, although we still have to lug one for Luke, but we rent for the girls.

Glad you guys figured it out. :thumbsup2

And woohoo for the 40 days!!! :dancer: :dancer: :dancer:
Thanks for the dancin'!
It's funny what men feel strongly about, isn't it?

Yay for 40 days!! :dance3:
I have to say, his reaction surprised me. Only 16 days for you!
Hurray for 40 days!!! :woohoo:

It never ceases to amaze me when Charles has a strong opinion about something Disney-related. I am glad that George was able to settle your dilemma for you.
We're all getting so close.:goodvibes

It's funny how much I suddenly wanted that stroller as soon as George said no. I have issues, I know. You're right behind me.:goodvibes

We must have posted at the same time. Do you do a multi day rental? I'm not sure if we'll need one on consecutive days, but we'll need one multiple days for sure.

How did I miss the whole stroller debate????

I have to go with George on this one....the convenience of not having to lug a stroller on the buses each day would outweigh the cost. You're on vacation..who wants the hassle?! Good for him for seeing that and taking the stress out of it for you! :thumbsup2

My DH is funny like that on vacation...things he would put his foot down about at home he agrees to at Disney! Go figure! (Although I couldn't get him to budge on the $200 Mickey princess tiara I had my eye on! LOL!!)

Yea, I think I needed someone to make the decision for me at that point, and George definitely did! Aw, Missy I want to see that tiara!princess:

Happy Mother's Day, Everyone!

Clearly Spring has decided it's here to stay. The Dogwood in our front lawn has bloomed, capris and polos have replaced sweaters, and we found this little beauty under our deck:

For anyone unfamiliar this is a Robin's nest, complete with three tiny and beautiful eggs. We've unfortunately scared the mother off the nest on a couple of occassions. Poor thing had no idea that our deck becomes Grand Central Station when the weather gets warm.

Oh, here's another park bag idea for LL!;) Ian "made" it in preschool for Mother's Day. I thought it was pretty darn cute.:cutie:

Ok, so I've been thinking about Disney hair way more than is probably normal. All of us will get cuts in the next couple of weeks. I'm considering much shorter for mine, but we'll see. Amelia's will probably go in a pony most days, but I'm not sure about Madeline's. She has a lot of hair and it becomes bigger in humidity. Any thoughts on how to keep it under control?

My friend put this in Madeline's hair yesterday.

I'm pretty sure that my girls would love to have a hair wrap in Disney, but I thought that maybe I'd attempt it myself before we go to save some $$. I bought some cute beads and floss and my friend showed me how to do it yesterday. She even offered to do the wrapping for me if I can't figure it out. I'm going to try wrapping Amelia's hair today sometime and see how it comes out.

Disney is so close! :woohoo: Hope you all have a day filled with appreciation for all you do and love from your families.:grouphug:

Love the park bag idea. :lmao:

The nest is so adorable. I can never get over how perfect those eggs look.

I worry about Disney hair too but I am sure that doesn't surprise you. :lmao: I love the hair wraps, very cute!

Robin's eggs are so beautiful - I'm so jealous you have a nest to watch! :goodvibes

Love the bag - so cute!! :thumbsup2

I don't really have any suggestions for hair. Not a big issue in this house with three boys who's hair I keep very short. :rolleyes1

But, I will say that even MY straight, very fine hair was a mess in Disney due to the humidity. It was driving me nuts! :scared1:

What beautiful eggs -- it will be neat to see the babies when they hatch!

Haircuts are on our must-do list, too! Will Madeline wear hers pulled back?

She might if the heat gets to her. She's gotten really opinionated about her hair in the last couple of months. I'll bring along some extra large hair ties just in case.:)

Yep, I understand -- Chelsea NEVER used to care about her hair, but since she started middle school she has been drying, straightening, and styling it every morning!

Good morning Christine,

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! I don't have any suggestions for hair..I'm with Carissa in the "all boys" department! I went short for this trip and I'm glad I did....my hair was not an issue at all. It was off my neck and cool!

I love the cute bag Ian made you! How sweet!! :goodvibes

Good morning Missy! I'm pretty sure my third was a boy because God knew I couldn't handle one more head of hair!:lmao: I was thinking about you as I posted the picture of the Robin's eggs. It seems my PTR is becoming rather bird filled.:rolleyes1

I have to go see how long it takes the eggs to hatch.
