You know, that is the one thing that kind of bothers me, the personal attacks. I thought they were being very insensitive too on that thread. Take beauty's thread about going to a thrift market. Geez, people, just tell her to have fun! I do think we have our hot buttons though. Guns are mine. No matter how many gun control laws we have, the criminals are still going to 9 times out of 10 have more powerful weapons then our law enforcement. That is why I stay away. Just give me good friends (like yall) and FLUFF!

I have a wonderful theory of life... if you can't be nice, then shut up! It's pretty simple to me I think. I tease and I say things that aren't right sometimes but especially here on the CB, I don't see the point in viciously attacking others. It just doesn't make sense to me. I admit there are times when I roll my eyes at a post someone makes, but you know what, I don't have to say it! I mean we all get annoyed or can't stand something some people do but we don't need to attack them for their differences in opinions or way of living. Okay I had to get that off my chest... that's been bugging me a for a while here recently.

I personally would like some smoothies and cookies and chat the night away

Or if I didn't make any sense at all, maybe it is because I am tired an need to go to bed

Jeannie, I didn't give him his shoe. He only had one shoe on when he refused to do any work and then he boogered me. He then kicked the other one off. I figured if he wanted to walk around the school shoeless then it was his choice. There were so many other things that he was doing that day that I just was picking and choosing what I would give in to. (putting hands down his pants - not appropriate behavior either) He was very difficult that day. I had subbed many times before this in this classroom but this day just did me in.

Now for the fluff. What should we talk about?

Question:

Do you choose paper or plastic at the grocery store?

Answer: I always tell the bagger that he/she can use whatever they want. Doesn't matter to me as long as I can carry the groceries into the house without dropping them all.

Depends... if I have a ton of groceries, I will take paper. Otherwise I let them decide (and they usually do plastic).

FLUFF. We have self-checkout here now-does anyone else use this?-so I usually drop in for a few things and carry a plastic bag that I reuse.

Sometimes I need paper to bundle paper recycling.

edited: that makes me sound all enviro-I'm not as good about it as I would like though.
