Paper bags here! Great for recycling and scooping the litter boxes and ..oh...groceries too! Ours have little handles on the bags. They started that one halloween for the kids to use as candy bags. Us grown ups loved it so much they kept em there! Have ya'll ever noticed I have trouble making my posts short?!?!

Jennifer...I went through a situation soooo similar to yours a few years ago with an assistant leader. She was a very emotionally unstable person but that didn't become obvious until we had done the troop together for a couple of years! I covered up for her so well the parents had nary a clue until she really lost it at the end. I was so worried what the parents would think...she tried the same reputation bashing that your ex is now! She got nowhere! These people are so transparent in their efforts to cause pain. Get the support of one or two parents that you trust and let THEM talk to the rest of the parents for you. That way it's not coming directly from you...doesn't seem like "sour grapes" or you putting yourself on the defensive. It worked for me. I know it hurts so bad...esp when you put your heart and soul into scouting and those girls! Hang in there...she will hang herself!!!

WOW! that Richmond thread was way too intense for me. What difference does it make if I agree or don't agree about school closings. Someone feels that it would be safer for all concerned. What is the problem? Education will always be there. 1 or 2 day delays will not make the children suffer. A bullet would.

Depends. Mostly, plastic. I get paper whenever I need to put the newspapers in for recycling. Just easier to carry them when they're in a big bag. Plus they don't blow away while sitting in the bin waiting for the city to pick them up.

Oh, my PC now meets corporate standards for software. Only bad part is I can't load AIM or Yahoo IM. That seems to be a serious no-no for some reason. Now if I could just get these programs to run, I'd be a happier camper. Time to load my own cursors, icons and sounds now.

Yes I heard about the shooting this morning when my sister called and woke me up! It was tough falling asleep last night, then a night full of nightmares...yuck! This shooting is back up in Maryland...their turn again. Our local paper this morning did say tht there was a threat made to our schools in that letter in Ashland. Now he shoots somebody on a bus? Anybody else find that extremely chilling? If our schools open tomorrwo let's hope the security is overwhelming. It is like this guy to move back up to Maryland to throw off the authorities...he could be back here now. Have GOT to run some errands today...can anybody say RUN??? Should get these errands done in record time! I am planning a game with the kids...who can run to that door that fastest? They don't need to know what the prize could be to the loser. This is getting so very old.

Well I'm back from the dentist. Not too traumatic...just enough for a quick stop at our fav. shop for a beanie baby before coming home Going over to school to check on Paige. She didn't look good this morning but INSISTED on going to school. She is a true dork!!!! Her mom is saying stay home and she is saying NO
