Yep I'm here Alex. Well, on and off. Jake is throwing up again. I believe he just fell asleep but he's been faking it for awhile and as soon as I go in there or he gets comfortable he throws up again.

No it did make him feel better. I dont know what is coming up from him. Today he has drank a half a can of sprite through a straw and that popsicle and 3 crackers. It just keeps coming up!

Yes, my family and I will be breakfasting at CO on Sunday. I'm not sure who all else is going, but sounds like quite a few of us? Most of us???

I'm excited for you all to meet Dh and the boys (of course YOU'VE already met them, Shawna), but DH is a little nervous about meeting Lynn.

I'm updating the spreadsheet I use to keep track of all my trip info: reservations for airfare, hotel, car, restaurants, phone numbers, etc.

I seem to recall someone said they had a new phone, but I can't remember who it was; is it Staley? Or you? I'm not sure I have the right number, whoever it is...

Staley has a new one ..I don't have it yet.

I have a new number as well since my old one went kaput as we pulled up on the last visit.. argh!

Oh...I missed the rice krispie discussion from the other day (I had quoted it, but then DH called to let me know I was coming in to work 5 hours early (like I can argue right now))

Follow the recipe exact, but as you are melting the butter, add a box or bag (whichever you can find) of red hots (the little tiny round cinnamon candies). Stir until these are melted completely, and then follow the rest of the ingredients. These are super yummy

I am stopping at the store on the way home to get the stuff to make these! They sound yummy!

I have like 6 of the patterns but havent attempted them yet. They were just cute so i bought them!


Hey, did Sarah start her sewing class?

Yes I did! There are only 2 other ladies in the class with me. We got all the pieces cut out and we practiced sewing on paper, lines, circles, corners...Next Monday we will put the bag together.

One of the ladies asked me if they still offer Home ec in High School. I told her they did when I was in HS. She said, what do you mean "when", aren't you still in HS? Uh lady, I've been out of HS for 9 years! She thought I was 16 or 17. This happens to me EVERYWHERE. You guys can tell me next weekend how old I look.

Next month the project will be pajama bottoms. I want to take this class too.

Shawna, it's so hard when one kiddo is sick and the other needs to be taken somewhere or picked up! I just bundled DS3 into his carseat with towels all around him and hoped for the best! And even though we live just a few blocks from the school, I drove because I knew there was no way DS3 would be able to walk, and I wasn't sure he'd be OK being pushed in the stroller (and getting sick along the way!) UFF. Some days it's tough to be a mom, isn't it?

And even though we live just a few blocks from the school, I drove because I knew there was no way DS3 would be able to walk, and I wasn't sure he'd be OK being pushed in the stroller (and getting sick along the way!) UFF. Some days it's tough to be a mom, isn't it?

Oh know I didnt see that he was sick too. maybe I did. I'm so scatter brained. We have not had an illness in our house for over 2 years besides the minor cold/allergies.

It is tough. There are times like these when I wish I had someone close to just come over and sit with him while I pick her up and drop her off at the studio. Alas I dont have anyone like that though. Does anybody come to think of it? I guess I'm in a dream world!

Ok guys. My mom is doing GREAT at work and wants to work another hour which is good. i just hope she doesnt push it. Then she is calling the DR because she has discharge papers that say she can try to put tolerated weight on her foot after 5 days, which would be today, but she and I both thought her DR said after 10 days.

As much as I dont want her to push it that would really help!!!

In the photos of you I've seen, you remind me very much of the boys' favorite babysitter. She was DS3's favorite daycare teacher, and it turns out they bonded because her first day working there was his first day attending (he was 3 months old.) He cried a lot that day (they didn't tell me that at the time, of course), so she spent a majority of the day holding him, and the rest was history.

We all adored her, and were so happy when she agreed to start babysitting for us. Unfortunately she moved away about a year ago, but every once in awhile I bump into one of her friends and get caught up on her life, and I'm sure word about the boys' latest shenanigans gets back to her the same way.

You're 27? I think she's maybe... 23 or so? So in the same ballpark.

Oh, and last night I talked with my mom, and for whatever reason I was telling her about when I met up with Lynn and Andrea at GCH, and then we went to the ELP afterward. Lynn wanted me to ride ToT with her, and Andrea offered to watch Ds3 during the parade, "We'll be standing right here, he's in the stroller, so no trouble at all!" And of course he was in love with Lauren, so he happily sat next to her the whole time.

My mom gasped! "You didn't, did you???" OH CRAP! Ummm, yes I did.

No, DS3 isn't sick, I was referring to probably a year or so ago when he was sick and I needed to pick up DS7 from school. What do I do??? So I just loaded towels all around him and hoped for the best!

Different guy that was his boss, down there DH was the boss. This guy is your cocky and arrogant typical male supervisor....the good news is he set up an interview for DH tomorrow (his day off), but it is for a manager, so hopefully she is good and she can work (she lives in Concho which is closer to Taylor ) I just hope he does (OMG I did a typo and typed "dies") not try to make me move, I can't - I could not be reliable with DH's schedule.
