DS was really into his VMK quests the first few days...then we moved on to finding hidden Mickeys (got pictures of 40 of them (DH just mowed the yard and put one in the back!). I really want more points so we can go again! Have you seen the AKV models? Ahhh...gorgeous... I AM SICK IN THE HEAD!! (and I am currently making up for lost drinking time...Margaritas with a touch of Grand Marnier and 1800 are on the menu for this fine evening....) (If I was talking to you right now I think I might have just slurred that one...)

Yes, DS was upset to find out they're closing the VMK store at the parks (it was a whole store on Main St. in the Magic Kingdom). The website says they're moving on to bigger & better things but that doesn't sound right if they're closing the shops does it?!

I didn't start taking pictures of the Hidden Mickey's until Tues. I think. Then it seemed like we'd started to find so many that I should - we're gonna put them into their own little photo album. I took WAY too many pictures (too many to order prints of anyway). I had 315 on my little camera & haven't looked at the SLR yet - not as many on it tho as I only used it for Fantasmic & Illuminations. Lots to wade thru...

I don't do Starbucks...no time in the mornings for extra stops! My coffee pot at home is set on a timer for 5:30 am for a basic cup of Maxwell House & then I just have a cup of whatever at work later...

High school athletics...the good old days. Good times, good times.

We never really liked traveling to Kingsburg either. Usually because your school kicked our behinds. Along with Washington Union and San Joaquin Memorial. Then we switched leagues and traveled to far off, exotic places like Dos Palos, Tranquility and Kerman!

Anyhoo - gonna try to sneak in a nap. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Hey gang, crazy weekend here. My best friend who lives out in Rochester NY was home for the weekend so between work and trying to get to see her, I havent had much Dis time.

Sorry, not a Starbucks person either...not a coffee person. I'm more of a diet coke addict (as I sip a can here now). Love those Hidden Mickeys though.

Had a good weekend..Met the "G's" on saturday night at Bahama Breeze...BAD!! BAD!!! Now I am going to have to drive to sunrise once a month..eat Lunch at Rainforest Cafe for Kate and Dinner at BB for me!!! SOOOO GOOOOODD!!!!

Um... yup.

Seems I always am though! But, when I am on call for a holiday weekend, at least I am off on Monday!

And that makes Monday seem like Sunday. Which of course means that the previous Saturday felt like Friday, and if I wasn't at work, it'll take until the following Wednesday for it not to feel like Tuesday.

Hey TZM or Ophie - we didn't ask a ton of questions 'cuz we were on a time crunch, but do you know what the "standard" unit is? The "Value" units are smaller & don't have the pull-out chair, right? The "Savannah View" is self explanatory but was just wondering, is the "Standard" view like of the pool or something? I could live with that. I'm a big dreamer huh?!

You are right. The value units sleep 4. They do not have the twin bed hidden in the chair. I was told that there are not a lot.
