OK pretty sure down in our cabin - you know - the category with no windows....we could not put luggage under our bed either.

I remember cause it was stacked up on one side of the bed and we had to jump from the couch area to the bed over the pile of bags.

But its OK 'cause we are talented and graceful!:thumbsup2

Going miniature golfing with friends from Sweden! Hey TZM - she is an engineer for Volvo but drives a Ford.:confused3 Huh. What a weird mixed up world we live in. Apparently Volvos are really expensive over there? Seems strange since that is where they are built.:confused3

the Fruit rocks! :surfweb:

we just ichatted with our nephew :teeth:

Evening all...

I asked about the under the bed thing height thing 'cuz I THOUGHT that once upon a time i had read here on the Disboards that you could store the suitcases under the bed if they were OPEN - 'cuz DUH I am not the brightest star in the sky (I know, I had you fooled) but so that opening them up so they would fit thing didn't even occur to me last time and since I have "issues" about unpacking into drawers that somebody else has used we had to walk all over them last time - and probably not as gracefully as TRM! Actually, I think mine stayed on top of the coffee table thingy for the whole week!:rotfl: But our suitcases are still pretty big so I dunno if they'll fit even if they're OPEN. (But hey, NOW that we live in a world where we have Lysol Wipes in handy dandy travel size packages [conveniently sold at Target and other fine discount chains] we might just have to try the unpacking thing sometime! :thumbsup2 ) Actually, I might try it this week!:scared1: Well, I bought the wipes anyway just in case...sort of my first step!:rotfl2: We'll see. I'm thinking about it.

Hey Ophie - I LIKE THAT NEW TICKER ya got yourself! Snazzy!

CamColt - IMO Chicago is the world's WORST airport - all those hubs:eek: (Glad I'm not the only heavy packer on this board!)

And everybody - remember - no Herbalife products for CamColt next year!!

Hey dudes!

No makee wine glasses here, ophie. Wine grapes, yes. Glasses, no.

Check out my new rides! :rotfl2:

Not too bad for a little hicktown funeral home! :rotfl:

Ummm...not sure what to say Beano...guess business has been good?! :goodvibes

Seriously, they look nice. Handsome in fact. But don't think I want a ride!:scared:

You have been quiet lately...did you get all of your video problems resolved?

Well, no. So, rather than go back and import all that video over again, I am just trying to recreate the project without all the stuff I lost. Fortunately, it's only 2 sections of the video that got "eaten". I'll git 'er done one of these days. :sad2:

:thumbsup2

Bob & I just spent the last hour watching the meteor shower....

it was awesome! Anyone else look?

Oh POOP!! I forgot to look before we went to bed! I know that I read there would be SOME last nite but mostly for us they said the best time would be tonite (well, around 2 am Mon. actually). Drats! Dunno if I'll try to get up in the wee hours tonite or not...probably NOT! :rotfl2: I know it's something that DS would like to see sometime... I don't remember which meteor shower it was but it was winter & I got up at like 3 am to go outside in my robe & coat etc. It was OK - not as much as I expected tho so haven't done it since. I think we may live too close in to the city - it's not dark enough to get a really good show maybe?! And this one they say to look to the Northeast - which is the front of our house where all the street lights are...:sad2:

Well, I got all of the :laundy: done yesterday and got everything ironed & folded with tissue paper except for DH's shorts. Those won't take TOO long to do today tho. :yay: Moving on to the toiletry / bathroom stuff today...gotta take a variety of SPF's as DH burns easily but DS & myself tan...8, 15, 30...:rolleyes1 Don't think I'll buy too much of anything at the grocery store this week...getting a pedicure (and MAYBE a manicure too) at 4:00. I don't usually get manicures but sometimes before vacation I do - but I broke 1 nail on each hand last week so I dunno if it's worth it? :confused3

Our DDE card came in the mail yesterday:banana: I have already been eyeing the martini list at BOMA :rotfl: I want to get all of the trip stuff finished up TODAY as I still haven't cleaned house yet this weekend! I want to be done & PACKED already! :goodvibes I gotta leave a clean house so I need to re-focus my attention! OH, and I need to go to Kohl's as they gave me a $60 off coupon the other day when I went back-to-school shopping for DS - it expires on the 14th...:woohoo:

Do I sound like I've had too much caffeine?! I feel a bit like Speedy Gonzales!

And everybody - remember - no Herbalife products for CamColt next year!!

Just not while I'm stressing out on an airport floor. :scared: :rotfl:

Beano....I second Annies comments, nice, but I don't want a ride. I think I like the mustang better. ;)

I will be the oddball of the bunch here and skip the wine. I just never got used to the taste.

Annie you sound like you are in trip planing mode!!!:yay: Not long now!

Volvos are luxury cars. Our market share for them in Europe is just a little higher than it is over here in the US. Remember that gas is much more expensive so people tend to buy cheaper cars that get great mileage.
