Apparently they have had some security issues both with Customs and with some guests who weren't checking in with guest services onboard during their first cruise when they should have (at least 48 hours prior to the next cruise). I actually asked to speak to a supervisor & he wasn't of much help. He basically said that it's only SOMETIMES and that there's no way to guarantee one way or the other in advance of your cruise!! It also doesn't matter if you're staying in the same stateroom or not. He said that only Guest Services will be able to tell you once you're on your first cruise whether or not you'll be allowed to stay onboard or not! How silly! Also, as far as getting back on - he said that once you're off it depends on when Customs clears the ship for embarkation as to when you'll be allowed back on! So it could be by 10 AM or it might be Noon! No way to know that one either!! But we should have priority boarding if we indeed have to disembark inbetween! Sounds like a cluster you know what to me! ALSO, don't forget, it's a year away! Things could change again!

Last nite when I picked him up from camp he says "I have to make a list of everything I want to pack to take to WDW on vacation!" 
A LIST!!! JUST like Mommy!! (except w/o the Captain)!! Then of course with the memory span being that of a 10 yr old (or of a 40 somethin' yr old) he forgot all about it until he was going to bed and wanted to do it then...so I had to remind him that he still has 3 weeks to go
Actually, tonight we have to work on some of his scouting requirements for this nutty camping trip. He has to pick 2 things from one category for his "outdoorsman badge" and 5 things from another category to get his "Traveler badge". Not only is he supposed to help pitch the tent but he's supposed to help "plan" the trip, practice fire safety, use a map to plan the route, do something with the compass...I don't know - there's a whole list of crap we need to sort thru in preparation of!! But ahhhhhh....only 3 more weeks! Seems like a long time getting here already since we booked it in January & last yrs vacation was in July!! What's that old anticipation commercial for? Ketchup? That's me now - doing the anticipation of the ketchup thing!
