Your hospital doesn't have a generator? :confused3 Hmmm.... Anyway, good luck!

Have a potential conference in Orlando March 2-6th, 2012. Just submitted my research abstract today. If accepted, I'll get a free trip to Disney! Wonder if I can convince my DW to come along.... :rolleyes1

Did I miss discussion of this yesterday?

Looks very cool. Hope it is going by February!

Nice Doc!! Let me know if you need anyone to carry your luggage :thumbsup2

Agreed.
But that requires using an Email client. I deplore just about all Email clients. I much prefer webmail. If I use an Email client, then I pretty much have to keep using one. I access my Email from too may different machines/devices to be comfortable working in an Email client that only runs on one machine.

POP3 email clients generally downloaded everything locally by default, but as long as you're using IMAP, and not moving things to local folders, everything will still live on the server(s). You won't be tied to the client, can just use it to make the transfer, verify things through your web interfaces to make sure everything checks out, and then dump the email client.

Good morning all,

Supposed to be on my way to the hospital now for a small surgery (nothing major, having a cyst removed from my inner ear), but just got a call from the hospital canceling my surgery because the power company has somehow cut the power to the hospital.

I think that playing on the safe side with medical procedures, even if they do have a generator, is an excellent move by the hospital :thumbsup2

Hmmmmmmmm. Good point.
The tricky part is to figure out how to do this for each of three users.
I see three options:
1) Use a different client for each user. There have to be three different free IMAP-capable clients out there, right?

2) Do them one at a time, blowing out each user as their content successfully transfers to the appropriate GFYD account.

3) Do them from three different machines. This would probably be the easiest option for having them all working at once.

Hmmmmmmm. Decisions, decisions. Looks like I have a new weekend project!

I refuse to count last week as a loss since it was not a complete game :rotfl2: After Southern Miss this week we play Ohio U and then Virginia Tech....

Who am I kidding at least your alma mater won :confused3

Howdy Dads.

I haven't been keeping up reading current dad posts. Too busy building my Ark . . . :scared1:

Wish I could send some rain to Texas.

!

Tax deductible Disney vacation! I am not an attorney and don't play one on TV. I keep trying to find one during Spring or Fall Break but just not close enough to the days or content. Good luck. Will your hospital pay me to run the projector?

Here's hoping that things calm down a bit for ya. Best of luck. :thumbsup2

The BetaMouse folks were talking about it a couple of months ago. It does look cool. Speculation was that the reason they pushed ahead on getting it up and running is to help deal with Magic Kingdom traffic flow that's gotten disrupted by the Fantasyland construction. They want to use the game to draw people over to Adventureland and away from the increasingly crowded Fantasyland walkways.

No time today to find and load the pics, but I did take a few pictures of what I was thinking was going to be a part of this. Noticed a few things that looked "off" in Adventureland...meh, I'll be a few minutes late here...These were taken in the shops between Aloha Isle and Agrahbah Bazzare, the fountain is besides Pirates, but I cannot remember if it had always been there...

OK. New question.

Let's say I install Thunderbird. I configure Desknow as an IMAP server (easy enough to do), and have Thunderbird download the IMAP content from DeskNow. Any suggestions for migrating the IMAP data that's now in Thunderbird to a different Email server?

This step has been the crux of my problem all along.

But you set your handicap too low. Hope you can repeat that, otherwise the next few weeks will be brutal.

I know - I really shot myself in the foot playing so well the first night. Now my handicap is only 12!

:worship:

I'm unworthy! That second game is close to my all time high:lmao:

I was pretty happy. I think when I stopped playing 6 years ago my average was 168. My high game is 269 I believe. I had 10 strikes in a row and then fell apart!

That drew an actual LOL from me. I'll take it as a compliment. I've been reading through the Kingdom Keepers books - started them to make sure my DD8 was ready for them, and decided that I liked them myself :rotfl: :thumbsup2

Oh, to be a DHI and be able to just go to sleep and wake up in the parks! :cool2:

I love those books! Last I heard, the 5th book isn't due out until next Spring sometime.

I wish I could be like Philby! :thumbsup2

Was never a real big Ford fan, but I think they are called doormats and are custom in the T-Bird. I hear there are GPS services that can provide me, you, and I MAP services that are standard in most cars .... :surfweb:

Anyone know a good mechanic?

My car is exactly 1 km past the 100,000 km warranty.

So that means tomorrow it is bound to break down.

DW and I did the same. We always preview things for our kids and we bought the books for DS9 but I'm pretty confident we like them better than he does.

BTW did you get it figured out yet? You leave for The World soon dont you?

I can't even laugh about that right now... my 3 year bumper to bumper warranty expired on 8/20. Last Thursday, my passenger door lock actuator went out.:headache: First problem I ever had with that truck.
