hello all, can someone please turn off the peanut butter rain!!!! in the past 4 weeks we have gotten 23 inches of rain, one hurricane, one tropical storm and one earthquake!!! august was the hottest month in lehigh valley recorded history and now theres a hurricane planted off the coast from us keeping all the rain from the midwest from moving on!!! maybe we should move to florida, its cooler, less rain and no earth quakes.:lmao: i was in the garage tonight and got the snow blower running and put air in the tires. tammy came home from work and ask what im i doing?:lmao:
the good news is we are only gonna get another 3 inches in the next 36 hours and by monday the threat of rain should be gone.:woohoo: im starting to grow feathers and waddel!! :lmao:

I can't even laugh about that right now... my 3 year bumper to bumper warranty expired on 8/20. Last Thursday, my passenger door lock actuator went out.:headache: First problem I ever had with that truck.

Uggghh.... knock on wood - my car has given me no problems yet, and will hopefully continue to drive smooth for another 200,000 km at least.

Anyone know a good mechanic?

My car is exactly 1 km past the 100,000 km warranty.

So that means tomorrow it is bound to break down.

bring it to the usa, you only have about 80,000 on it than and you still have another 20,000 to go.:thumbsup2 oh wait, your odometer is in kms isnt it? hmmm. time for a new one!!! :thumbsup2

Ownage. Squirrel.

Kilometer? What is this odd form of measurement?

I have one vehicle with 160,000 miles and one with 140,000 miles. Both leak oil. DW has one with 90,000 miles. All paid for, but one day ...

I had to get rid of a 3 year old F 150 because of a severe water leak that shorted out the electrical system, and I refused to keep it after it was fixed (I traded it--but they knew of the repair)...

When I say severe water leak, I mean two inches of water inside the firewall that shorted the fuse box...:mad::mad::mad:

And it was rain water---and I probably walked into that one on my own accord---can't wait until Rafiki gets ahold of it:sad2:

--Note the lack of spinners, it's my old boat.

I did the whole "fish per dollars spent" ratio several years back....it wasn't pretty:headache::headache::headache:

On a serious note, does anyone know if you can buy the refillable mugs anywhere at Boardwalk Inn or Villas???

And no, I'm not going to be reusing an old one...:lmao::lmao::lmao:

exibit a your honor. :lmao: everything seems to get wet but the boat!:lmao:

I had a Dodge a few years ago that had water resistance issues.:headache: Anytime it was raining, misting, foggy or a heavy dew in the morning I just crossed my fingers that it would start. On top of that, I had the rear window replaced twice because it kept leaking and then I ended up just putting a bead of silicone all around it when I got sick of taking it back to them every time it rained.

I've got a 2008 Silverado right now. I really like it, but I'm kicking myself for not getting a bigger truck. I got a 1500 ext cab because when I bought it, I was still doing a lot of work travel and wanted fuel efficiency with just enough room for luggage and my work equipment. If I had it to do over again, I'd have a 2500 Crew Cab. I have just enough room now with 1 child seat back there, but I couldn't fit a second one behind either of the seats. On top of that, these new half ton trucks sure aren't made to pull like my 1993 1500 with 230,000 on it.:lmao::rotfl2:

Dead outboard engine on the Saint John's River. Sub 30 windchill, sub 40 water temp.

Couldn't get boat lined up with the trolling motor because of the wind and current....

After 35 minutes of trying to keep it lined up, I stepped onto the trailer to try and push it straight...

Weelllllllllllllllll..................I stepped onto the painted frame of the trailer and **splash** four feet of water, nothing but a cap on top:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Right in front of the whoooooooooooole club---

This was the beginning of the Mike Lake Swim Club for Bass Anglers:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Good God it was Coooooooooooooold:headache::headache::lmao:

Mornin' Guys....

Spent the night on the couch listening to make sure the sump pump was running. We ended up getting over 3 inches of rain here last night!

Darn Lake kept producing a constant band of rain that went right over my house. 30 minutes east or west of me they barely got a half inch!

I know it's nothing compared to you east coast guys....but we weren't supposed to get hardly any rain.

Thankfully, the pump seems to be holding and running about every 40 seconds or so! :scared1:

Problem is, we're supposed to get more rain today and tomorrow.

Happy Day!! :cool1:
