Question about ADR's.....

Do you guys prefer to call or do them online?

And what time of day on your 180th day out can you call/check online?

I did mine online. I think you can start at around 6:30 am... I didn't do it until around 8 or 9 am and got everything I wanted. Then again we are going during a bit of a slower period and our ADR window opened before free dining was announced for that week.

I thought you could actually start at 6:00 a.m. Eastern.

Online opens at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

As others have said, it is 6:00 am for the on-line and 7:00 am for the phone. I should comment, however, that they've had persistent problems with DVC confirmation numbers getting into the system and allowing you to make your reservations past the 180 day mark. In other words, if you are staying at a Disney resort, 180 days before the day of your arrival, you should be able to make the dining reservations for your entire trip*. But sometimes, the system doesn't recognize the DVC confirmation number, so you need to wait until 7am to call...


*I know, actually only for the 10 days after the day of your arrival
**This is why Le Cellier and Cinderella's Table are so hard to get! All the resort people book them before the 180 day mark

I'm also wondering....if I make an ADR for CRT...normally you have to pay for that meal upfront....how does that work with Dining Plan?

It is 6:00 am online
7:00 am via phone

And I believe you do NOT have to leave your credit card number if you are on the DDP.
