Disclaimer: I am only going to read through 10 pages of past content a day. If it happened before that and I missed it, then it just didn't happen at all. *phew* THAT'S a lot of reading!

Wow...this was a surprise...

Flip Camcorder being Discontinued

I love our Flip Ultra HD...it surely takes better video than my EVO.

Hmm... now to watch and see when they appear on Woot!...

I know it was under a $1.00 when I started, but I specifically remember filling up my 1978 Olds Toranado and thinking $1.00 a gallon was going to break the bank. :rotfl2:

:lmao: do you remember waiting in line,on the odd number day at the gas station waiting to fill up?:lmao: i didnt drive then, i started driving in 81 but i remember sitting in the plymouth with my dad waiting for a chance at a tank of gas.:lmao:

Crew - heading out to San Antonio and Austin next week for business. Anyone have or know of some goods places to eat? I did see they have several Earl of Sandwich shops. Anyone......anyone?

I know a few good places in Austin:

Chuy's
Magnolia Cafe
Z'Tejas

But it's been quite a while since I've been there. Also, they are primarily Tex-Mex places, because I really couldn't see the point in eating anything else while I was there. :thumbsup2

Wait... there was a BBQ place or two that were good, too, but I think the consensus is any BBQ place is good in Austin.

Also, Amy's Ice Cream for dessert.

We always do the QSDP to save money so I know nothing of these fancy "table service" establishments.

Woohoo! Accidental ownage!

I specifically remember filling up as recently as April of 99' when I was still in college for $0.79 a gallon.

OK - so I guess 1999 isn't so recently anymore....:headache:

Dont you wish you could UN-SEE that?!!

Dear God man, that's ugly...:lmao::lmao::lmao:

For a non-Disney comment, I am rolling in a Silverado instead of my Mustang while it's being repaired (stupid vandals). I put $10 of fuel into it, and the needle BARELY moved. I miss my Mustang... :sad1:

Feel your pain with my F150...won't even go there with the boat!!

Feet per gallon is my normal measuring stick:lmao::lmao:

Hey Fed...the true sad thing is...his spedometer in his Mustang was Mile/Hour.

In Chevy's its Furlongs/Fortnight. :sad2:

Speaking of Chevy's...I had one of those...where the heck is my camera when I need it moments.

Was behind this SUV yesterday at a red light...it had New York tags...seemed to be a 199x model...the rear glass had chevy decals...one that said "One Bad Bowtie"

Problem I saw was...this was on a Jeep Cherokee. :lmao:

I just filled up the minivan over the weekend and told my daughter that she could no longer go to college. She didn't seem too concerned. Maybe she's planning on marrying a doctor? :confused3

:rotfl2: Wouldn't help. My kids will be out of college before my med school debt is paid off. Tell her to shoot higher. A banker?

Can we add that to MAN LAWS? A Dis Dad (as much as they are able) will help their child pay for school (so they are not saddled with a mountain of debt). We've been saving since our kids were born. Wish my parents had done the same. :confused3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GREG!

Heck, I remember when it was around 35 cents/gallon and filling my first car, a '59 Chevy! I think I'm too old for this club! :lmao::rotfl::lmao:

In "Blues News": My son made their FB page with a couple photos from the Corpus Christi show this past weekend. Here he is saluting the pilots as they head to their jets.

Maybe it had the heart (engine) of a Chevy. I had a 85 CJ7 that I droppe a 305 in once. So technically it was part Chevy right?:confused3

And today I'm proud to say I'm a current North Carolinian:

linkage until they fix it

lol - and people wonder why we homeschool in this state...

Fwiw, my kids have been taking federal/national standardized tests for years. It's a requirement for home schoolers.

We now return you to your previously scheduled DDC-Cast...

Mijo...saw that pic....nice salute form on that youngin':thumbsup2

Are there a lot of festivities in the Charleston area today for the 150th anniversary of the shelling of Fort Sumter?

Probably, I'm down in South Georgia now, but usually they use any excuse they can to remind ourselves of the butt whippin' we took....:lmao::lmao::lmao:
