Your girls are little I would presume, they have Jo Jo Galiath kind of dated but they get to sing and dance around! You will just LOVE it!! :rotfl2:
seriously the food is great.

By the looks of it, JoJo and Goliath have been replaced with Handy Manny and Special Agent Oso. My girls are 6 and 2 going on 3. I am teasing DW about Oso, since she's had a longstanding crush on Sean Astin, I told her that's as close to him she'll ever get:lmao:

Tiki: did you mention earlier that you were looking for a Doofensmirtz shirt. I had been looking for one too and didn't see one when we were at Disney a couple weeks ago. We didn't make it to World Of Disney though. Let us know if you find something cool.

DW has been helping me clean up pics for our TR. She just sent me this one, and due to the somber nature of a lot of today's thread, I figured I'd post it.

After all who doesn't like wishes (besides people that don't like loud noises)

It really has been a lousy day. My mom just called and told me that she has skin cancer. Nothing to serious, but anytime I hear cancer it scares the heck out of me. We lost my BIL a few years ago to cancer and just the word itself is enough to send shudders up my spine. It is on her nose and hopefully will not show up anywhere else. They are putting her on a topical treatment to start and see how she responds. My grandmother had the same thing and she ended up with a lot of problems over the years Like I said nothing that serious but I know that she is very upset and scared. If anyone has an extra prayer please send one her way.

Prayers headed your way from here....

I will for sure....maybe there will be more merchandise once the M&G is up and running with Phineas and Ferb...

Question to those of you that have flown Southwest. It just occurred to me that we are flying on them in exactly two weeks and I have exactly no clue how their boarding process world. I know we purchased their Early Bird Check In, which puts us in group A. Does the gate agent just announce "OK, everyone in group A get on the plane and find a seat!"? And if anyone has any specific experience flying out of Chicago Midway, I'd love to hear any tips, tricks or gotchas that that I should be on the look out for. Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the prayers and well wishes.

Hey, where did you get the E-A-G-L_E-S and Phillies emblems in your signature??? I LIKE IT!!! :thumbsup2 GO PHILLIES!!! :yay: 11-0 today!!! :woohoo:

I have not idea where I got these. I think that if you right click on each one and go to properties it will give you the link to them. You should be able to copy that link then put it in your signature. You may want to get one of the more tech savy guys to give you more guidance though.

That was a good game yesterday. Not a bad start 4-1.

Early bird puts you in the front of the line.. But frequent flyers are in front of you.. When they open up for check in which is 24 hours prior to flight you will be given a ("cattle call") number in the a category. When you are lined up to board you stand in front of the sign that has A group in your assigned number. Early bird check in does not necessarily guarantee your pick of seats.
I have no tips that you probably already know.. :thumbsup2 but I would not recommend the southwest first class upgrade.. LOL:rotfl2:

southwest airlines, or as i used to call them "southwest stand-in-line". they used to board in three groups "A,B & C" and it was first come first serve in each group. now however, they assign numbers such as "A1, A23, B4...." they will board group A in numerical order.

what has stayed the same is that you can sit in wichever seat you'd like, so long as no one is sitting there. I prefer either the front row or the emergency exit row. those rows offer more led room.

i hope this helps

If you bought early bird check in, then about 36 hours prior to boarding, they'll assign each of you a number (they go A1-30, then B1-60, then C1-60). The number is printed on your boarding pass. You line up in order and then there's open setting. Don't worry if you get a low B, you'll still be fine. It's actually very easy & low stress, especially if you bought the early bird (which is a must with kids).

Hey Guys

Sorry to be a downer here this evening. We have had a huge tragedy today and I need you all to remember a special family from our church in your prayers. The Father and 2 children were on the way to watch 2 older sons play a baseball game for their High School and they were hit head on. The Father was killed and the children teenage girl and 8 year old boy were lifeflighted and are both in the or right now with ruptured bowels caused from the seatbelts. In addition to the ruptured bowels...The daughter is also unable to feel anything from the diaphragm down or unable to move and we are told she has broken bones in her back but I am not sure what part of her back. The youngest son has a borken jaw and multiple facial lacerations. Please send prayers up for this family. They are a very special family to us!

Thoughts and prayers their way from the Gilberts!

To all the Denver folks,

I am also coming out to Denver, but will just miss Aaron by days (getting there the 15th). Staying around the convention center somewhere. I know that I'm free either the 17th or 18th if anyone wants to meet up, get a drink, have dinner, etc.

Chris

I hear prattpak has a killer pool and grill. Just stop by!

:goodvibes 57 days!! Mom can we leave now!

NO MORE YELLOW FONT. :lmao::lmao:

URL="http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_league_stew/post/Fresh-Feast-The-top-10-new-concessions-at-MLB-b?urn=mlb-wp2390"]Just found this story about new food items available in the ballparks this spring... [/URL] I think everyone around here will particularly enjoy number 8. I'd like to go to a Phillies game just to try number 4 though.

I thought for sure they were going to talk about the Schmitter. You also need to try the Chickie & Petes Crab Fries!

WOW!! Great shot! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

It's pretty much what the others have said. You can check in for your flight online beginning 24 hours ahead of your departure time. I usually try and get on the computer to check in the minute it opens. That usually assures you of getting into the A group. Your boarding pass will have your group (A, B, or C) and a number assigned. When they board the plane, they'll call the A group first and have you line up according to your number. Frequent fliers and people who paid the Early-Bird fee get on the plane first. Then the A-group boards. They usually allow parents traveling with small children to board between the A and B groups. Even if you board with the B group, there's usually enough seats available for a family to sit together. It just might be in the back of the plane. I've always been too cheap to spring for the Early Bird check-in, but I've never had a problem boarding and getting a seat. It's no-frills, but it works just fine.

A couple of years ago, my wife and I were flying back from Phoenix. The lady next to us dug out headphones and started trying to find the plug-in on the armrest for in-flight programming. She looked around for several minutes before asking us where to plug in her headphones. We looked at her and said, "You've never flown Southwest before, have you?" :rotfl2:

Also, we've flown in and out of Midway airport a couple of times. I don't remember any specific issues or problems with it, other than the fact that the runways are among the shortest in the country. This doesn't mean much other than when you land, they hit those reverse thrusters hard.

Added to prayer list, Kevin. :thumbsup2

I am home from work and finally have a chance to update on the Schwab family from here...Both kids are doing ok so far after the bowel surgeries last night. Allison ended up having 3 tears in her bowl while Jacob only had 1. Last night Allison was not able to feel or move anything from the diaphragm down. Today she is able to feel her stomach and can tell that she has some swelling form her surgery. She is still paralized from the navel down. They did an MRI this afternoon on spine this afternoon to see if they are missing something to cause the paralysis like this. She does have a lumbar vertebral fracture. She woke up in the middle of the night and was talking to her Mom. She told her that she could not recall the accident but remember right after the accident hearing Jacob crying and her Dad "snoring". She said she remembered hearing someone at the scene saying that her Dad had died and she asked if that was true and her Mom had to confirm the horrible news. What a difficult moment it had to be for them. I am not sure if Jacob knows about his Dad or not yet. He still has a broken jaw that is yet to be fixed. Dale (the Mom) has not left the hospital of course so I don't think that funeral arrangements have been able to be made yet for Richard (Dad)....Both kids are being sedated pretty much however, on a lighter note....neither one has lost the taste for Moutain Dew!! They have both been asking for it!!! Hopefully they will getsome soon!!

Kevin, we will certainly remember your Mom in our prayers...there truly is something about that word Cancer that does something!

Chris, I am glad that you brought your friend with you to your meeting!! I hope he set them back on his ear. The teacher in question should not be in the classroom!!

Thank you for the update, Steve. Prayers still going out!

Thanks everyone for the advice. There's going to be enough stress the morning we fly out anyway - we need to be on the 4am hotel shuttle to the airport. I can't imagine dragging everyone out of bed at 3am. Maybe we'll all just sleep in our clothes...:sad2:

One last trill ride to end the trip! Now I'm just as excited to get back to Chicago as I am to leave it! :thumbsup2:woohoo:
