Making your way to the World today
Takes everything you've got
Sunscreen, gas, and cheeseballs all
Sure do cost a lot

Wouldn't you like to own a page?

Sometimes you want to post

Where everybody knows your (screen) name
And they very rarely flame
You wanna post in the thread the most
But stopher1 wins that game
You want to go where everybody knows your name

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

I just had to come up with an excuse to tell the legal techs outside my office why I just spit coffee all over my desk.

Woo hoo! Second ownage in a row!

Page 13? Girls, please stop talking so much. Don, go ahead and get Version 9 ready.

That would be great Ryan. My php skills are mostly limited to copying and pasting code. Usually, I can comprehend what I'm reading in the code, but my ability to actually write code is about nil. I went ahead and kicked you user permissions up to Administrator, so have at it, whenever you get a chance.

I think its working now. My PHP skills aren't great, but I can get lucky sometimes.

Crap...just realized it skewed the main nav.

Ahhhh - yes. The same problem I ran into when I added the T-Shirt order form. I can take it from here and clean that up.

Woohoo! I'm glad to see the Colorado Council of Cool People has finally convened and heard our case! I thought it would be bouncing around for a while. They get uppity when the ruling members leave but we didn't have much of a choice when we left.

I hear you friend, tax evasion can be a killer.

Great. You could probably just pull it out of the top nav since its already linked on the side.

A. I'm flattered that you think I could do that with a pitching wedge.
B. It takes at least my 4 iron to put a hole in aircraft grade aluminum. But only if it's 30 or 40 yards to the right of where I was actually aiming.

I have a great slice and a great hook. Problem is that I don't know when either will occur.

OK back to a Disney discussion for a minute....

Any other Dad's or DW's on here in Education? I'm struggling with the fact that the times we have available to go spend a week in WDW are peak times or extremely hot!

Currently we've been vacationing in Daytona for a week during our Spring Break, right around Easter and spending just a day at MK for my girls. I'm trying to change this tradition a little and spend a week at WDW, but also realize that this is the absolute peak time for the year and am not a fan of big crowds!

Any other Dads have any experience in vacationing when you're limited to the normal times off that a educator receives?

I'm thinking summer is going to be the best and only time that we'd be able to swing a week at WDW that we wouldn't be fighting everyone else to enjoy our stay.

Also - has anyone every bought DVC through a resale agency...if so - how much is average resale on points these days?

Thanks!

If threads keep getting closed down as fast as VII did ,Don is going to want a pay raise:lmao::rotfl2:

Sure... we can double his salary, no problem! :lmao:

Go ahead and add another zero to the check. Doesn't matter which end. :lmao:

Stupid spring. 76 degrees last week, and now this. This is definitely one thing I don't like about living in Indiana... the stupid weather fluctuates WAAAAAAAAY too much.

Mine was already turning a nice healthy green, flowers popping up, trees budding.... ugh. Let's just skip spring and bring on summer.

I agree with the cold snap but on bringing on the Summer now??? NOOoooo!! :scared1:

I left it there in the top nav for now. It's one of the shortcomings of our theme. I don't know that there's a way to have a page that doesn't have a link in the top nav. That's where it puts all pages. So I took MAN LAWS and made them a sub-page of the About page.

I may start looking into a new theme. As the site gets busier and attracts more attention, I start to wonder if we'd be better off not drawing so much attention to the Disney-copyrighted images in the header.

If you want help, I'll be happy to play with it too. I was looking through the read me on wp-polls and it looks like there are a fair number of other people that had had this issue.

So what is the Fail Whale equivalent for a Mickey or Disdads themed 404 page?

Use the logo instead! Then you dont have to worry about it.

For some reason, every time I look at the new subtitle for the thread, my mind wants to read "The Online Microwave". Maybe I should eat something.

Let's just say that I worked for Lehman (at I-25 and Lincoln (the one in Parker, not the one next to Broadway)) and my services were no longer required (contract IT jobs suck) and the market was bad enough that I didn't want to wait 6 months for a new one.

I totally agree. Im in a contract now at IBM. Praying the other shoe doesnt drop. :scared1:

Due to special circumstances we've taken several trips to Disney smack dab in the middle of peak season during spring break.

Yes it's crowded, but you can still have a really good trip.
1. Rope drop is an absolute must. You need to be there early because, ideally you want to be at the front of the line.
2. You must have a touring plan. Take advantage of everything you can, and see if you can find the less crowded days for each park.
3. If you want to see a parade you will have to plan ahead. People were taking their parade seats 1.5 hours in advance on our last trip. We found something about 30 minutes ahead of time but it was hard.

When we do this we are usually done in the park by 1 or 2 and we head back to the hotel for the afternoon. In the evenings we come back for the parades., fireworks, less popular rides and shopping.

On our cruise we talked with people that were in the parks at the same time as us. They were complaining that they got to Epcot about 30 minutes after it opened and by the time they made it to Soarin the FP were for 4:30 that afternoon. They only got to ride it once. We were there at the same time and Road it 3 times that day without standing in line for more than 15-20 minutes.

Don't let the crowds scare you, but realize that if you don't take the proper steps you'll either be waiting in a lot of lines or you won't get to do much.
