Twins! Great picture.

I considered this. I'm looking for a good Vero Beach TR now.

Can't see you my DVC contract, but Vero was awesome. We went there in October in 2008 and did a split stay with OKW. The beach was amazing. When I was a child, I went to Fort Lauderdale with parents. I remember all the advertising, airplanes flying over with banners, etc. But, Vero Beach had no commercial traffic in October, just views of ocean. There weren't many good sea shells to collect, but that's the only bad thing. The pool was heated. There was miniature golf pool side. The children activities are great. They had a campfire at night with smores, a scavenger hunt, and Donald and Goofy came to breakfast on Saturday in the beach clothes. Between the main resort and pool, they have a grass lawn where you can check out games for free and play there (Croquet, lawn darts, etc.) Before we left, DW and I actually discussed adding on more points at Vero Beach. We will go to Hilton Head next Spring Break (2012) and I'll have some comparison. Good luck with the planning.

... Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. My wife laughed at me... I figured you guys would understand, or if not, you'd think it is pretty darn funny too

Not a problem. I went to see Tangled with my girls, not just because they wanted to watch it, because it was Disney's 50th animated feature.

Gentlemen (and as always the term is used loosely), I have either reaffirmed my membership in the DIS Dad's club or got myself a step closer to losing my man card. I got home from work this evening and wanted to watch a movie so I looked through the rather extensive dvd collection we have and picked one up that I haven't seen in several years and popped it in without any input from anyone else in the house... Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. My wife laughed at me... I figured you guys would understand, or if not, you'd think it is pretty darn funny too.:rotfl2:

In my defense I was really in the mood for some Peter Pan, but I was a slacker and didn't get the DVD when it left the vault and my parents have my VHS.

I'm with everyone else and failing to see the problem here. Excellent choice, by the way.

Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is John and I am from Oklahoma. Our first WDW trip was in May of 2009 when my first DS was 9 months old. My wife and I just had our second DS (January 5th) and am thinking about going back this fall with some of my co-workers families.

Welcome, and may the farce be with you. Oh, and congratulations on the new arrival and the continuation of sleepless nights.

Twins! Great picture.

:lmao: I'll see if I can get another one this weekend when I'm down.

For tonight's weather, we're getting a mix of snow, sleet, and rain. Wonderful. We don't need to miss another day of school, especially since we may make it up this Saturday, which would mean that both me and my kids would miss 2 days (work for me, school for them). Hoping the temp hangs at 33-36 degrees tonight.

Looking forward to being part of disdads. How do I get my member number? Anyone going to be at Disneyworld in May 16-23?

I can't wait till Winter is done:eek: Been sick the last couple days, with some kind of kick butt flu (Chuck Norris strain)

I look outside and for almost a month it looks the same, Snow:scared1:, and along the road it's starting to get that ever attactive, gray-black tint.

Seems like the milk & bread companies are paying for the weather forcasts, all they have to do is mention snow, and we are as busy as a Holiday:scared1:

Since cabin fever drives my nuts, besides a WDW trip for August, I also have a week in Williamsburg VA in the works for July:woohoo:

We have a voucher for 3 or 4 nights in Williamsburg we have to use, do you have dates when you'll be there?

:welcome: Emmas Dad Will be along shortly with your number, until then you'll have to wear the "New Applicant" probationary tiara.

Just to recap... you are member # 544! :thumbsup2 :cool1::woohoo::yay::dance3::cool2:

You can see your name in light on page one, too :thumbsup2

Wow... 100 days before our next vacation starts. Not sure if that feels like a short amount of time or an eternity! :lmao: This morning I just realized that we missed the annual AAA Disney day at our local branch. I am bummed... cause this was a fun yearly ritual we had grown to love. Have no idea where my head is... just been so beverly busy! Hope all are doing well. Have fun to those heading to the World soon!

Wow, a make up day on Saturday. That's just crazy. I think that the good part about living in the Midwest is that we have all of the resources (snow plow, tons of salt) needed to make sure that it's "business as usual" for most snow events. Good luck - hope the weather cooperates!

On a much more serious note, this Sunday will represent an event of historic proportions - Bears vs Packers for the NFC championship. Its hard to believe that the oldest rivalry in football hasn't met in the playoffs in some 70 years (7 days after Pearl Harbor, to be exact). In any case, I am sad for all of my Packer friends, as their season will end on Sunday....
