trying ONE MORE TIME... if there's just a red X again, can I delete the post?

(I think the trouble is Flickr won't let me resize the image? :confused3)

The preview worked, but i used the "copy BBCode" instead of the URL. How/why would this matter?

Anybody else put their kid on the bus to Kindergarten for the first time today? Rough morning for me and the wife.:sad1:

Pulled a mini Commando trip last night:scared1: Got home from work about 2:30pm went to 6 Flags did the Safari, got done around 5:15 jumped on 195 heading to Sesame Place got there around 6 did a couple of rides caught the parade and fireworks, home by 10pm:cool1: Love to get in as much as I can IF I can:goodvibes

We just did our first SP trip a couple weeks ago. We did an East Coast roadtrip from MA to Bethleham, PA (for the Crayola Factory in Easton), then down to DC for a couple days, and then down to Myrtle Beach. On the way back we hit SP for a day. I loved the huge Count structure that dumps a ton of water on you every couple of minutes.

I'd apologize on behalf of Canadians but I think I made it clear in there that I'm not supposed to speak for the country.

I'm sure there is a fairly lengthy paper trail from the WDW corporation that could help you fill in the blanks.:scared1:

DW and I stopped in at Office Depot the other day to get my itinerary laminated. The guy at the printing counter greeted me by name and asked how long till my trip and how my iron t-shirts came out. My wife looked at me like I had three eyes and asked "Just how much stuff have you had printed for this trip?" I replied, "You mean here or all together?"

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl: That's awesome!

Nice catch Owen!

Guys,

It is not too late to join the 1st annual DIS Dad's Pro Football Pick 'Em Tournament. This is much lower key that your typical fantasy football league. All you have to do each week is pick the winner of each game (including spread). It's free and takes about 5 minutes of your time. If you miss a week (work/vacation/etc), no worries, the lowest scoring week gets dropped. The winner gets bragging rights until next year.

Go to:

http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem

Group ID# 29522
Password mouse

The games start on Thursday the 9th, so you need to join by then. There are 16 guys signed up already! Come join!

Thanks, this is great. A couple of years ago I tried to start something similar at work but nobody would do it, so I ended up in a one person football pool all by myself. It was a ton of work too. Being an accountant, I wasn't simply satisfied with just having yahoo or espn track my progress, so I created an elaborate set of spreadsheets to track it, and measure the accuracy weekly, and year to date, and also to compare it to prior year results. This is much more fun do do it with other people involved.

I second that. DD started her Junior year a week ago. Now we are looking at colleges. It seems like it was just yesterday I droped her off at pre-K. Despite all my angst that day she was cool as a cucumber. No tears or drama just a "See you later dad."

Both kids are home from school today with barky coughs. I'm trying (and mostly failing right now) to work from home. It should get better once DW gets home from her morning meetings.

Luckily, I discovered that Netflix has the first two seasons of Jimmy Neutron available for Instant Viewing, so we've been in the midst of a Jimmy Neutron marathon since about 9:30 this morning.

I promised her I would drive to school to see her get off the bus there. (I know that seems a bit overboard, but tons of other parents did the same thing). I thought she'd be excited to see me but I just got a little wave as she followed her line in to school. It's good that she didn't run away from her teachers to see me- I guess she's doing better today than I am. Either that or she's entering the teen years early and has already learned how to ignore me.:confused3

We sent DD off to her first day of Kindergarten last week. I took the morning off and we all went down with her, so it wasn't too bad. The next day I was off of work and staying home with DS, while DW dropped her off on her way to work. She called saying that was twice as hard because she had to do it herself. It's been slowly getting better, though. Two more years before we drop DS off for his first day...

Strictly catch and release. You catch the fish, the release him into the deep fryer. :thumbsup2
