Though this has been addressed, when we caravaned in 06, the 2 cars were on different cell plans, so we had 2 walkie-talkies for each car, then meant to use them in the parks, but left them in the car. Still, great for the caravan.
My dad was asking about fishing at WDW. Does anyone know if they have equipment for use/rent at POR, or just on the guided tours, and he'd need his own tackle box at Riverside? (am I even asking this right?)
As the son of an angler, I would just like to say that I do NOT like fishing, because it was never fun, only work, and I "got in the way" of my dad's trips. so, just make sure you keep the fishing fun, if you want him to really like it. And when he catches a tree bass, don't get too upset. And the first time he swamps a canoe, and $1200 worth of camera equipment gets, uh, "moist", make sure you let him know it wasn't his fault. (even if it was.

)We golf and play cards and other stuff, but not fish. Just a warning to make sure it's fun... although, i am 31 now, this is probably something I should get over.
and for the 'being a dad not just the guy that lives at the house", Tuesday nights we play outside till dinner, then have dinner, then baths (3 boys

) and the Super Mario Wii till bedtime. Some rituals are easier than others, when you actually like your children, (and they like you.)
