Which property do you own and where are you staying? We actually own at the Sea World Location. We have stayed at the Tuscany in Orlando, but this upcoming trip in December we are going to stay at the Sea World agian since it has been a few years...they are all nice.

We have stayed at the Las Vegas property...not the Flamingo but the newer one near Circus circus. It is very nice. Last December we stayed at the new West %7th property in NYC and it was great also. We have never had a bad experience at any of them! We also stayed at the Hilton Hawiian Village for our honeymoon before we actually bought into the program.

We own 5K @ Vegas, on the strip. We'll mainly be using it for Orlando. A friend got us in through open season at Parc Soleil in January, it was pretty awesome, but still needs some work and is kind of isolated, in a couple of years though, it will be amazing. We're staying at SeaWorld in May and are leaning towards Tuscany in December, but we've heard a lot of great things about SeaWorld that we might just stay there again, we'll decide after the May trip. We're also doing one night on South Beach mid-summer (waiting to hear from a producer/DJ friend of mine that will be performing down there), that'll be the first and probably the last 'no kids' trip. I also have friends up in the panhandle, so may take advantage of the Sandestin location at some point, but with the girls so young, most of our points will be spent in Orlando. What we want to do in the near future is trade into DVC for a stay or three. We're still trying to figure that out, I may pick your brain on the best way to go about that. For now we've got plenty to choose from.

When we were there last October I drove by Pac Soleil and thought that it seemed isolated also. That was a turn off to me. It just seemed to be there and still needed a lot of exterior landscaping work done to make it more pleasing to the eye, but you are right in a few years I am sure that it will be VERY nice.

all this talk about DVC and HGVC and trading had made me have a few questions...Stopher you might be a good source for the answers. as a HGVC member and I able to trade into DVC and what does a 1 Bedroom unit consist of? Is there anywhere I can see pictures? I might want to trade and stay on Disney Property if possible for the December trip, but would not know what property to try for. Advice??

I believe the only time shares that can trade into Disney is RCI.I could be wrong but I do think its it.

ps asking Chris will not help he is not our information officer,Mark is:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I forgot about Mark's title I did not mean to break the chain of command!:rotfl2:

HGVC can trade with RCI so would that allow us to trade into DVC?

It really depends. I'm not familiar with HGVC...can you trade out through RCI? Because that's who DVC is currently in bed with. Used to be Interval International.

The 1 BD units are all similar but different. The newest properties (BLT, AKV Kidani & VGC) all have 2 bathrooms in their 1 bdrms, but the older ones don't. Thes 3 also all accommodate 5 (w/ bedding) whereas the older ones don't have bedding
For 5 though you can sleep 5 in the units. We have an air mattress in our Owner's Locker just for those resorts.

All of the 1 bdrms & larger have multiple tvs, plus the washer/dryer & a whirlpool tub in the master bathroom with a separate stall shower. King size bed in the master bedroom & a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

Full kitchens with full size fridge, stove & dishwasher. Dining seating matches the sleeping amount.

Well I did answer the question that was directed to me, even if you did go & throw around your made up titles. Fed doesn't scare me. Some bus riders perhaps, but not me:rotfl:

Don't call me a mindless philosopher, you overweight glob of grease

just wait til those work calls pick up and all your kids games kick in...

yea I definitely miss the 2 1/2 months I had off with the snow.My Dis time will be before 6am and after 9pm and rainy days now.

Funny Story - yesterday morning my wife see's a mouse run across the kitchen, OK you know what happened next the one day I can sleep till 7am, the frantic wife comes in yelling about a mouse at 5:30, I try to roll over and play it off but that tactic didn't work. Now it's war, I get up BB gun in hand, wife says are you crazy ( I nailed one a couple of years ago in the basement this way, took hours) I said you woke me up now I'm going Caddyshack on it.

When I went to work at 9:30 I hade 20 glue traps set up in a 10 x 12 kitchen:lmao:

I get home from work wife has 10 of those sonic pest chasers plugged in all over the house. I went to bed last night around midnite. At 1:37 am cat is wigging out all over the house, get up notice a glue trap gone, cat comes flying by with a glue trap on her paw with the mouse on it, son & wife wakeup start freaking out,now I got a 3 ring circus (glad I had a few before bed:lmao:) Seems like I was the only one that thought it was funny! Must be a guy thing:goodvibes:confused3
