Hmmm...can't quite see "the" folder...

It says "squeat"...Tennessean/Southern for "Let's go eat."

For the past 3-4 days my Jaw has been locked in a semi-closed state due to some TMJ issues...could barely fit the tip of my finger in.

It popped back into place today...so I can actually eat something. :woohoo:

Thanks for all of the welcomes!

Welcome! I take it you're a civil engineer? 'Cause I am too! You are obviously a fine, upstanding and intelligent addition to our club.

Wow, first trip! We took our oldest son for the first time when he was about 2 and a half. We went in February so the crowds were small. We let him toddle along for most of the first part of the day. When something caught his interest (ragtime band, barber shop quartet, Disney characters) we would stop and let him enjoy until he was ready to move on.

We had a stroller for later on as he got tired of walking, but he had a great time, and it was nice seeing Disney again through his eyes and at a slower pace. Watching his enjoyment made me enjoy it even more.

BTW, I have a BSEE that I put to use when I'm not doing my most important job of Disney(and)Dad!

I am really excited to see how she takes it all in. I have already accepted that this is not going to be like the trips that my wife and I usually take. Who knows... I may even come to enjoy the mid-day naps at the resort :)

I'm still debating on the stroller thing. Did you find it very easy to keep up with it after rides and navigate around the parks?

Depending on the amount of cheeseballs Barry ate he may look like a Oumppa Louppa by now:rotfl2:

I earned my Oumppa Louppa status from excessive amounts of beer and pizza.

well, today is our 25th aniv.!!!! i cant believe it was 25 years ago.

Congratulations and best wishes for another 25! It will be 10 years for us in September and we honeymooned in Disney as well. Each year we visit, I take a self-picture of DW and I sitting in the tea cup together. It is interesting looking back over those years.:scared1:

So, in order to keep up, i need to spend pretty much all day on this board, don't I?

Good luck. I can't keep up with what child goes to what event on what day, so accomplishing this forum is well beyond my ability. Just multi-quote several people and trick them into thinking you are caught up ... oops:surfweb:

Well, it's settled back to the Animal Kingdom Lodge at the end of May!!! :cool1:

Have a great trip. We are going to visit AKL for a 4 day trip in June.

LOOK OUT! Chuck stole your DisDad#. With that inside info, there is no telling how many times he made it into that secret file on your desktop!!

WDC isn't WDW...but need to take the kids there at least this once...just hope we don't get mugged by a politician. :lmao:

Yuck...that doesn't sound like much fun at all. Here's hoping it doesn't come back. :wizard:

We rented the stroller first thing at the entrance to the MK. It is a little more expensive, but if you leave it to go in a show or on a ride, and it disappears, you just go tell them and they give you a new one. It spent the first part of the day carrying all our "stuff," the middle part of the day pushing DS around, and at the end of the day, when he finally crashed, it got us back to the gate so we could head out while he slept. No real problems at all since the crowds were lower, which I guess is what you will experience too.

I know that her little legs cannot walk the parks all day. And I don't think that I would be able to carry her for the rest of the day. So this might be the way to go

We brought our own little umbrella stroller with us for our kids, and it worked fine. Of course, we were there in September, so we weren't dealing with heavy crowds. But you're right, a 3-year-old won't be able to walk all day, and you won't be able to carry her. We never had an issue with our stroller "disappearing".
