Well, I'm officially an Animal Kingdom Lodge owner AGAIN I couldn't resist buying it for 20 dollars. Unfortunately the one with Simba on it couldn't fit in my SUV. If I had a pickup I would've got that instead

$20 is basically free for that. Wow what a steal for what amounts to usable memorabilia! Heck I'd pay someone the 20 plus 250 to ship it up my way in the northeast!

Yeahhh I bought a dolly and a tape measure beforehand to make sure it fit in my car.. ironically those 2 things together cost more than 4x the dresser

How easy/hard is it to get 6 nights in a resort view deluxe studio at Jambo at the 11 month mark? I did see a chart on DVC Field Guide but wasn’t sure how accurate that was.

Edit: dates would most likely be early-mid December, January-April, and October.

Mostly get it each and every time you book year round with some competition when it comes to the beginning of December frenzy time. Or if pick one of the most popular marathon dates.

AKV, especially Jambo, it’s all about the Value & Club options. That’s what make owning worth every bit of that contract’s booking power.

Yeah & with Jambo putting in the Kudo trail request stays away from the “resort” category pool location and puts you over a boma people pen. Savannah room at Resort level points numbers.

We’ve booked 2 br. resort views at Jambo for Dec. - including early Dec. - several times, which are all lock offs so availability is tied to the ever popular studio booking trends. We’ve not had any problems getting 7+ nights in 2 br. lock offs right at 11 months for Dec. or Jan., however, I don’t dawdle or sleep in, I set my alarm & book at exactly 11 months out.

It's very easy generally. The only hard time might be early December.

I "won the lottery" and scored a 4-night stay in a CL studio in mid-October. Any chance at all that the rooms might be renovated by then? I see that the value rooms are coming offline in Feb '27 but has there been any hint at when they will be doing the club level rooms? While I would love a refurbished room, I am over the moon to be staying in a club level room for the second year in a row.

From what members here have discovered, it seems like the Club level rooms are being refurbished all at once in December 2026 (and it seems like the Value rooms are all being refurbished at once in late January 2027) - so your room will not be refurbished.

Cool! Thanks for the info! That works out fine then because it means that we will not have to worry about potentially being displaced and we already know what to expect. I was a little worried that we would have the club level booked and then get bumped out because the room would get taken offline for refurbishment. That is how my luck usually runs.
