I was going to ask if your name was your occupation. I am a client manager at an Engineering Firm but I am not a PE.

I am getting to close to put a count down on my signature. It won't be till Dec of 2011 but it is better then nothing.

We rented the stroller first thing at the entrance to the MK. It is a little more expensive, but if you leave it to go in a show or on a ride, and it disappears, you just go tell them and they give you a new one. It spent the first part of the day carrying all our "stuff," the middle part of the day pushing DS around, and at the end of the day, when he finally crashed, it got us back to the gate so we could head out while he slept. No real problems at all since the crowds were lower, which I guess is what you will experience too.

We used to rent the strollers , Then we realized that at 12 dollars a day for 7 days we were spending 80-90- dollars to rent strollers. The stroller we had at home was really nice and a gift. So we started to stop at walmart and buy a nice strooler for about 45 dollars we would use the stroller for the 7 days then the last day we would find someone at the park in need and pass it on. Just seems like the Disney thing to do. Besides I bet if you look at the Dis Dads man laws it's possible it's already there.:wizard::wizard::wizard:

Wow, first trip! We took our oldest son for the first time when he was about 2 and a half. We went in February so the crowds were small. We let him toddle along for most of the first part of the day. When something caught his interest (ragtime band, barber shop quartet, Disney characters) we would stop and let him enjoy until he was
We had a stroller for later on as he got tired of walking, but he had a great time, and it was nice seeing Disney again through his eyes and at a slower pace. Watching his enjoyment made me enjoy it even more.

I'm still debating on the stroller thing. Did you find it very easy to keep up with it after rides and navigate around the parks?

I will go on record that the trips with the little kids is unbelievable. I would definitely bring the stroller and its easy to keep track of if you "mark" yours with something. DW created a "Megan's Stroller" tag with some card stock and contact paper that was colorful with a piece of yarn so that it would catch our eye.

I still remember the first trip we took DD1 (2.5 yo) & DD2 (16 mo) on the first day DD2 ran right up to the White Rabbit (Alice in Wonderland) and gave him a big hug. It was a very memorable moment.

Long hard day at work today, we had inventory today:scared1: Not knowing the number they are looking for the calls went out mid afternoon, the one I got was from the boss was Thank You! Good Job! :cool1:

Out of 6 calls from the boss 2 were good, 1 was borderline and 3 were come to the office. Looks like I'm good until the next one in 6 months:woohoo:

Hey, I said we rented the stroller on our trip. I never said that is what I would recommend now. This was 1992, and we were only doing one day at MK (wouldn't recommend a one day pass now either). The stroller wasn't that much then (maybe $5), and I was there for training. DW and DS rode down to join me with friends. We had one of those umbrella strollers at home, and since it was only one day, we didn't need/want to buy another. Yes, if I was going for multiple days, and leaving from home with unlimited means to bring whatever, I would take my own stroller also. I go much more prepared these days.

And yes, I would be very outrageous in decorating to identify it. Just realize that even though all of you have said you didn't have any problems with using your own stroller, I have heard a few (probably relatively few) who came back to where they left it, and it was no longer there. Like I said, decorate it alot. If someone wants to take one, then it probably will be one that is less conspicuous.

My son was 4 last trip we used a umbrella stroller, since we do the parks and other sites from 7am - 12am everyday, when he needs to nap he just bombs out in the stroller and then we do things he would not enjoy, like world showcase or the boardwalk. I do go alittle overboard, I have a Kid finder from Brickhouse., that comes with a locater and 4 tags, I tag my son, wife(she has a panic button), Vid Cam & stroller. I hate wasteing time looking for my wife and son when I run to get a fastpass, never where she says they will be, usally can find them quick. If you can read a fish finder or can do hot and cold it's pretty simple.

I will use the stroller this year again, but this will most likely be the last time using it.

my last trip we didn't rent a stroller on the morning of day 1. After I rode Splash Mtn with the 6 yr old, and DW (that means wife, right?) waited in line to see Goofy with a 4 and 2 year old, we rented a double stroller. This was by 10:30 in the morning. After day 1 of $31 double stroller rental, we bought 2 $15 umbrella stroller from Target that were lime green. NO TROUBLE finding 2 lime green umbrella strollers hanging next to each other.
And, a locator to find the group when your separated? The awesome-ness vs. big brother factor have tipped, now that I have 4 kids, so I need to look at one of those.

Hey Dads hope everyone is having a great week. Im on the tail end of a two week break before I go up to Penn State to drill for some natural gas. I surprised my DW with new Disney luggage today for the our trip in May. She was stoked and I was extremely surprised by the quality. I wasnt expexting it to be as great as it was since I caught it clearanced on Disney Store .Com. But it was extremely nice. Well I hope you all have a terrific weekend. I will be grilling and pitching washers!:cool1:

As the (WD)World Turns........
I've heard some really good things about Bob Jackson. Haven't ever seen him. Maybe this coming trip will be a good time to take a visit over to POR and catch his show. Wonder if he does anything special at Christmas???
We love Boma too. Didn't go there last summer as there were some new places we wanted to try, but I think we definitely need to make it back there this time, especially being so close at Kidani. So when DOES that 180 day window open????

Bob Jackson is well worth seeing. We try to see him once every trip. :thumbsup2

WDC isn't WDW...but need to take the kids there at least this once...just hope we don't get mugged by a politician. :lmao:

Our Navy son is stationed just across the border at Andrews AFB, MD. He's on the base security force so you might be able to hire him to keep the liberals away! He'd be more than happy to do that! :lmao: When will you be there? I think the Air Show is at Andrews in mid-May; it's free and well worth seeing! The Blue Angels will be there, among others.

WE ARE......PENN STATE! My DW has relatives out in State College; that's where her father's family is from. Not much out there but it's nice country.

Going in Mid-April for about 3-4 days during the kids spring break.

I think we'll wear our Donald Tie-Dyed's to blind the attackers. :cool2:

Considered getting this shirt for the day of our Capitol Tour. :lmao:

OK Running out of things for Chuck.

I would take pictures of him around my cube...but I suffer from OCD...yes Office Clutter Disorder. :lmao:

My Cube really is a mess...an experiment in organized chaos. :sad2:

Am off to the Keys for the weekend. Weather has improved and expected highs are in the 80'S (insert evil laugh here). All is not good however. Since it is going to be windy the diving conditions will stink. I guess that means more time at the bar. Check in next week after a much needed R&R trip.
