well, today is our 25th aniv.!!!! i cant believe it was 25 years ago. we went to wdw on our honeymoon.(had to get dw hooked fast) we were looking at pics last night, wow, we were 19 but we look like we were 12. :lmao:

Congrats on reaching Silver! Sadly I let DW down. We didn't start the Disney craze until after we were married a couple years, even though I had been a couple times as a kid not long after MK opened. Our first was actually to DL on a trip out to California. We stayed just outside the park and could see the fireworks out of our window. We didn't do Disney again until after we had kids.

Dave: Congratulations to you and the missus! We hit 34 years a few weeks back. :thumbsup2

DW and I will hit 27 this coming September!

OK... OK... I'll get 'er done! :thumbsup2 (within 49 days :rotfl2::rotfl2:)

I just had to share this story with you. We are at the dinner table tonight (yes... we eat early) and we are having hot dogs, red parsley potatoes and green beans with almonds (sounds good, right?) Anyway... I reach over and start taking the skins off on DD's potatoes because she doesn't like the skin. DW then says to DD, "Your daddy spoils you!". I reply, "That's what dads do!" Then DD turns to both of us and says, "Actually, Daddy, not all daddys do that... only Disney Daddys!". :cool1: I just smiled from ear to ear!

Great story. I guess all Dads aren't like this with their kids like some of us are. It MUST be the Disney influence that makes the difference! I always figured why have them if you weren't going to spoil them and spend time enjoying them. Having Peter Pan syndrome doesn't hurt...:)

Congratulations! On your 25th, any special plans to celebrate:confused3

Wow 25 years ago I was 16 :scared1: Man time really does fly by fast

25 years ago I was......uh, 25! Where does the time go??? :confused3

Thanks guys for the good trip wishes! We leave in a couple of hours for the airport. By early afternoon we'll be there. Can't wait to be there, but just had to pop in quickly and say hello. Hello. Have a great day guys, and I'll be popping in again in a few days. Take care.

Have a most excellent trip! I think I'll get my TR done while you're gone... just to torture you. :lmao: You'll be at dinner with DW thinking "I wonder if Don posted an update?" :rotfl2::rotfl2:

she has been working gobs of over time since october. she has our december trip money put away all ready.( tickets, meals, spending, gas everything) she has about 1/2 of our june 2011 put away so far. we are jumping back on the an.pass in december. that will cover us for 10 days in decamber2010, 8 days in june 2011 and 10days in october 2011. it comes to about $17.00 per person per day in the parks. dvc members get $100.00 an pass'. it realy saves alot if your going for more than 10 or so day per year. diner was only $60 with tip, she got off easy.:lmao:

Last year was the first time we got AP's, it was also the first time we drove instead of flying. We are now in the dangerous/great position of knowing the parks are only a little over 9 hours away so if I cut out early on any given Friday we can spend the weekend at WDW.

So, in order to keep up, i need to spend pretty much all day on this board, don't I? And, if my trip is Dec 27-Jan 1 of 2010, how do I add a counter? I like the one that looks like a cast member badge. Next, what's this apparent "mandetory" trip report? I went last August. Do I need to add one? (I actually have notes). And to Emma's Dad: What's my DIS Dad number? I'm at the early 400's. like 408 i think.

This is a great discussion board.

I'm not sure it's always possible to keep up. Sometimes I go to bed and wake up the next morning to find 5 new pages were added!

Next, what's this apparent "mandetory" trip report? I went last August. Do I need to add one? (I actually have notes).

Please submit a leather-bound, typed, double-spaced 100-page report complete with color photographs and park maps detailing the route you took throughout each theme park. Don (Emma's Dad) will check for accuracy and grammar. :surfweb:

Ok, maybe it's not "mandatory", but we enjoy reading about everyone's trips. Helps us get our Disney fix when we're not there! :thumbsup2

Where am I Now

Mike...

:thumbsup2 we had aps for 4 years and this past oct we stopped. being that we are not going till dec. 2010, i would have paid a year and not go. so, were just jumping back in for another year to cover our 3 trips. after that, well see what happens. i wish they could load your ap onto your room key when you check in, what a pain!! dont touch your room key and your pass together, not put next to your cell phone. dw holds the pass' and i carry the room keys. than they still dont work half the time.:lmao:
