Well greetings fellow Dads. I am new to the forums, and making my way on getting situated and finding my way around!

Welcome aboard. This is a crazy group. Are you a fan of the movie or a gourmet chef? The DisDad van could use a cook for the trip.

Hey Barry

I noticed we are doing the Disney thing at the same time again in March. I booked us on March 5 at one of the all star resorts for the night before we leave on the Disney Cruise. One of these days we are going to accidently meet face to face at Disney LOL:cool1:

I was just thinking that myself. We don't leave Wisconsin until the 5th, so it probably won't be this time. When do you get back into port? Do you leave right away when you get back?

We get back into port on the 13th and we are whisked directly from the port to the airport to head home!

It must be a Lehigh Valley thing. Well, heading back to work today after 12 wonderful days off. This is tough!

I am 100% Pa Dutch. This is the first year that I can remember that I did not have pork and sauerkraut on New Years Day. My wife was not up for the drive to my brothers house this year.

Hey guys,

Just getting caught back up after taking a magical week off to be at home for the holidays. Getting out of bed this morning for work was...less magical.

Welcome to the new dads, and Fed, I hope your ear has started clearing up by this point. Have you tried the ol' blow-your-nose-while-holding-your-nostrils-and-mouth-shut trick yet? :laughing:

So I'm planning my next trip, and thought I'd ask for some help. I actually "won" practice-round tickets to the Masters in the beginning of April (probably the only lottery I'll ever win). My kids have off that week for spring break, so we're making a vacation out of it. We're planning on driving down through Shenandoah National Park on the way down, and maybe taking a day trip to Charleston as well to see Ft. Sumter and wander the city. Then it would be back up I-95 at the end of the week for home. So, is there anything you would recommend trying to see/experience in Virginia and the Carolinas that we shouldn't miss?

:headache: At least we have jobs, right? Supports my Disney habit :rotfl2:

Yes I'm thankful to have a job...I'm just bummed after having 12 days off.

On a brighter note...I'm in a 4 way tie for 1st in my Pick 2 League. our records are 27-5.

Now we have to pick Playoff games until 1st -- 4th is determined.

1st = 1125 ...Dole Whip
2nd = 240 ...Mickey Bars
3rd = 120 ...Pinapple Bars
4th = 60 ...Dibs

Woo-Hoo!! The DVC-owning members of the family just booked my Dec. 2010 trip this morning! :banana:Only 47 more weeks and I'm there. Now the challenging part- teaching the kids caught all the characters/movies before we go...
