That's where we were going to stay if we went in October...but since I have gone so crazy with this Dec. trip (concierge etc.) I decided not to push my luck and cancelled that trip.

Thanks for your help. POR The only Mod. for our size family. :) Otherwise we would have had to upgraded to a deluxe and I wanted to convince DH Disney isn't too bad so first time on-site at a Deluxe wouldn't have helped. ;) The prices would have made DH  and he probably wouldn't want to return. We'll work our way up hopefully. :teeth:

Hi, all. John and I are home and the house is so QUIET without the kids. This is the FIRST TIME we've ever been home without them. We are eating out every night this week, going to go to a party on Tuesday for the 4th, going to an outlet mall tomorrow, eating brunch at a nice place one day, getting lots of DVDs to watch (I've not seen the original POC yet) and then going to the movies and a dessert place one night. I know it'll be fun, but John and I both are going to miss them terribly!

Well, y'all were very chatty since yesterday. Miss anything important?

ODTT!!!!!    enjoy!!!!

Probably a good idea. :goodvibes

So last night and tonight there were fireworks all around in various towns like at Jennifer's house. My next door neighbor also set some off. He will probably set some off every night between now and the fourth.

Well tonight was a fireworks war. My next door neighbor and the neighbor across the street were setting off fireworks for about two hours. No synchronized music or anything fantastic but still fun. Can you tell I am spoiled by Disney. The funny this is you can't by ground to air fireworks in Pennsylvania but it doesn't seem to stop anyone around here.

If you want to quote this please remove the pictures to help those who have dial up be able to load the pages more quickly. Thank you in advance.

Here are some pictures.

Seeing as how this is a Disney site we need some pixie dust. That is the name of this firework and you can see the name at the bottom.

4 kids like you..the oldest leaves for college in mid august...so it will only be the 5 of us. We are staying at the Poly this time. I have always wanted to stay there...I have been saving 1/2 my commission checks for some time..this is going to be a real splurge trip. I know what you mean about prices...Bill doesn't quite get it...but he thankfully goes with the flow! :teeth:

Where are you guys at on your trip? If I remember correctly you guys had a larger family as well. (will your older DS be going with or be busy?)

Ok, about the BAB Minnie and Mickey- are they the same size as the PM? Do they sell a regular Minnie plush at WDW who is the same size as PM?

And is the BAB Pooh nationwide or just at the Parks and Orlando?

I'll get a picture of BABW M&M beside PM. BAB is twice the size of PM...

Great pictures!!!!!!!

Everyone needs a little splurge everyonce in awhile. Sounds like a nice trip. Poly concierge, you'll have to let us know what it's like. I have always thought concierge would be nice but DH isn't sure the cost would be worth it.

I have a new update on the firemen..and this is a better update! I just checked his carepage (where a family member puts updates everyday) and they said today he seemed to be VERY responsive! He opened up his eyes and tried to look at people when they walked in. He was squeezing hands harder..He even attempted to pucker up his lips to kiss people. He is not considered out of the woods yet, of course-He received a pint of blood today but his hemoglobin level is okay.

Here are my three Mickeys...

Mom is back in the hospital. Its a bacterial infection, they say its either from her port or the lining of her heart.

I am very curious to see how we like it...even if it is spectacular..I am not so sure the cost could be justified....so I am really going to try & live it up!! :teeth:

Hi, gang!

Long time, no talk - I have missed everyone, but my life is still pretty crazy right now. I do have some good news though - I'm about half way through my summer from heck, I finally got up my pics from our travels with Andy on the PM thread...and take a look at my tickers below! :cheer2: DH didn't bat an eye when I told him late last Sunday that I wanted to book us a quick trip w/ free dining for my b-day, and then just smiled when I said "oh, and btw, I've got a villa booked for us in Dec.!" He has yet to outright admit it, but he misses WDW as much as I do!!!

How is everyone? I've actually had the chance to take a bit of a breather this weekend, although I do have to work tomorrow. DH is in Marianna, FL for a family reunion that wasn't until late today, so thus, I couldn't go. ( :p ) I spent some time doing stuff around the house, dreaming of my Disney trips, hanging out with friends, and then I also went and saw Cars this afternoon. I can't quite decide what I thought of it - the animation was downright amazing, but I just didn't find it nearly as clever and endearing as the majority of the other Pixar fimls.

I'll try to go back a few pages, but there is no way I can go all the way back to catch up - I don't even remember where I left off! Know that I've been thinking of all of you, and hope to be around a bit more often!

:wave2: :wave2: :wave2: Lindsay!!!!
