It rained here today also, but since we've recently been in a drought it is

So I thought it was odd Amy and Kevin were going to a wedding tonight -

until I remembered I got married on a Wednesday - and it got me thinking

did most of you get married on a Saturday or was it a different day of the week

and DAWN - you are supposed to be emailing me a wedding picture!!

My best friend came home from Spain yesterday (shes been there since January)so we had an afternoon of catching up and went out to dinner...It was a good day..
Tonight is Alyssa's viewing, and tomorrow, the funeral. We cant be there, so that is hard, but i know there will be so many people there that loved here too..My family and I may drive up there next month as the annual bike fund raising ride they do is dedicated to alyssa and my brother may ride in it. So that would be an opportunity to go visit....

Tomorrow is a day off pretty much!!! I have a night class exam, but then im done with classes til May 22.

Becky-I loved your photos!

Vicky congrats on little William-he's beautiful! My boy is the only son of an only son of an only son with an Americanized name so he'll have to carry the name on.

I've added all the photo titles to my photos and weeded them down to about 525 photos. I'll have to go through them in the next few days to upload a few more to Photobucket.

Emma's much more like herself now but understandably cranky. She had some plain pasta for dinner and has kept everything down since around 10:30 am but still has off and on fevers. Poor little thing. Gotta go bring her to my bed to watch Bob the Builder.

It was fabulous! They had never really thought about going back, but then they saw how much fun their kids had with the autographs, and now they're planning another trip over Christmas. I'm so jealous! Actually, I'm thrilled, because now my kids can give their kids T-shirts for Christmas presents and they'll have them for their trip! I love living for, and through, other people's Disney trips.

My favorite also.
I haven't been able to drink 1 since June of last year.
Tummy problems.
When I was moving found 2 12 packs in the garage.
Receipt was for for 6/24/5.
Over 10 months & no Dr. Pepper for me.
Oh well pass me another decafe green tea with honey.

Hello!

Thanks for all the compliments on the photos I posted from the wedding!

So, I invited Kevin's mom, stepdad, brother, SIL, niece, and nephew over for what was supposed to be a simple, belated birthday dinner today. Whew, what a night!

The invite was for 5 p.m. and at 3:30, Kevin started cleaning the grill per my request. Well, it turns out our grill was on it's last leg and parts were literally crumbling, making it completely non-functional! So, since I grill at least 4 times a week, from spring through fall, it made sense just to go buy a new one. $300 and an hour later, Kevin came home from Lowes with a new grill, and he spent the next hour putting it together with the help of his step-dad and brother. I was still prepping dinner, and this left my MIL and SIL in charge of three children under the age of 3. Fun, fun! Dinner was finally served at 6:40 p.m. Then we had cake which was a big, messy hit with the kiddos. Everyone left around 8 p.m. and Alyssa was definitely overstimulated, so she got a quick bath, read a few stories and was in bed by 9 p.m. The kitchen is cleaned up, and now I'm ready just to veg out with all my favorite Sunday night shows.

Forgive me for not responding to PMs tonight...I really need to just go elevate my feet and relax!

OMG I can't believe I'm all caught up.
It has been a crazy week.
They have moved the closing up to Tuesday the 9.
A week early.
So I had to clean the house Wednesday after work.
As the carpet was being cleaned Thursday.
XDH is very much in a hurry to close.
The earlier we close, bigger refunds on home owners ins. & paid taxes.
He is a Superviser so he can leave work anytime.
I'm only a Tech so I can't, except for an emergancy.
Finished up Wednesday night around 9:00 P.M.
Not to leave out cutting my knee on a piece of glass
also left my purse @ Wendy's.
So called XDH after we finished.
I gave him a piece of my mind that I work for living
that I really didn't like cleaning ect. after work.
He shows up @ my work Thursday A.M sorry about last night.
I owe you 1.
I'll take you guys out for steak.
So I tell him (I can't eat steak D.A).
I can eat lobster & crab though.
So he's taking us to New Port Bay on Mothers Day.
It's about time this guy did something nice for a change.
He had better not forget.
If he does I still have CC #'s & we will go without him.
Oh I'll be sure to call & thank him for dinner after we finish.

Jo - Wow! You are an amazing woman to do so much to get that house ready for selling, etc. I will cross my fingers that your X doesn't forget. However, it might be a more pleasant dinner without him, huh? At least for you!

Glad to see you're all caught up! I'm still a few pages behind, but I'm trying!
