Goodnight to anyone still up! I HAVE to get to bed. I'm not really tired, but I'm stuck on nights from those 4 shifts...... I slept until almost noon today, and I was NOT happy! :sad2:

So bedtime it is, and hopefully I can fall asleep so that I wake up at a decent hour!

Good night Jen. Sending :wizard: that you can sleep. Although I should be doing the same thing as I actually have to go back to work tomorrow. My three days off is up.

But for some reason, I find myself looking at Disneyland information. :rolleyes1

Can I just tell the DVC owners here, that I am SO glad you aren't like the majority of posters I see lately on the DVC boards. Sheesh! Talk about a turn-off! :confused3

I think I'll stick to asking you all my questions. (And no, nobody said anything to me personally, so no need to hunt down a particular post or anything :) ... I just can't get over the general tone of those boards!)

Still not sleeping

Jennifer, are you still here?

Heard from the GI doc. His regular nurse is out today. He is on-call in the hospital this week, but wants to see Rees Monday. I'm not happy about waiting that long. If Rees has another bad episode, I'll go to the ER so I can our doctor sooner and possibly get admitted. I hope he understands how bad it is, but I'll make sure he does Monday. Then we'll get the test and surgery. May be longer than what I want. Going the route of the ER may be our best alternative.

Hi Denise - I'm really behind so sorry if this conversation has been had already - if Rees has another episode this weekend get him to the ER straight away - that way they can really see how much pain he is in. The only problem with doctor's appointments is that Rees might just be having a good spell at that time.

Sending you :wizard: and :grouphug: that everything gets sorted out as swiftly and stress free as possible

To find your posts past the last 500, you can use the Advanced Search button. Click the Search option, then Advanced Search. Fill in the username. Change the Find posts from to "Six Months Ago" and "And Older". Select "Posts" for the Show Results as button. In the Search in Forum field, you can select a forum and I choose Creative DISigns. When all is set, click Search Now. It will list all your posts that are older than 6 months old. If you have 1000's of posts, this may not work.

Now if I'd have known that yesterday I could have avoided getting square eyes from doing it manually! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Becky - I love your pictures. You are younger than I thought you were. And that is not a bad thing! Lucky you.

That's exactly what I thought!

Right I'm way back but I have to go get ready for work. I'll try and catch up later if I can.

DH's brother is coming round for dinner tonight, his girlfriend has walked out on him and gone to stay at her mum's - says she needs some space to sort her head out and decide if she wants to be with him  I'm a bit worried about him getting lonely so I said I'd cook dinner and then he and DH can play computer games.

They were our best man and bridesmaid and have been together forever - much longer than me and DH, but then they are younger. If there's any spare :wizard: around then they could use some, even if it's just to ensure the whole thing is sorted out quickly, whichever way it goes.

See you all later - hope everyone has a good day. And here's some extra :wizard: for Rees.

Clare - I was in a relationship once where he told me 3 times that he needed space to figure out if he really loved me -

the third time I told his *** to take a hike - if he truly loved me - he wouldn't need to figure it out!! My head was very strong but my heart was broken - luckily a wonderful man healed it!!

I know this is not ALWAYS the case but I made up my mind then and there I would never be with another man who told me he had to try to figure out whether or not he loved me - either you do or you don't - and to marry me it had better be passionately enough that you have no doubt!!!

okay - I am off my soapbox now -

Denise - I hope you all are having a good night!!

My BIL who is a doctor said the patients seen first in the ER are the ones screaming bloody murder - so it seems if you went in with Rees - they would see you pretty quickly - and I know this sounds awful but if you decide to go to the ER - I wouldn't give him the medicine - I would make sure someone in the hospital saw it at its worse - even if once you get there and have a quick assessment done and then give it to him

I am sure you know all the tricks being a nurse - but I think sometimes when we are close to the situation we forget all the little tips we all seem to know and would tell others!!

Thought the rest of you DDAers would appreciate this -- Matt was in his bedroom after getting ready to go to bed with the globe between his legs. Guess what he asks me?

Mommy, is this where the Queen lives?????

Oh, that is so going to boost her ego. :rotfl:

Well, what are you waiting for, girl! Let's get a trip planned! Paula and I could show you around. I've done DL itineraries for Lindsay and for Kate. I'd love to help you out, too. I tell you, next year we need to plan a DDA meet in DL so you all can come see Walt's park! :thumbsup2

I would so be up for that. My DH's sister lived in Anaheim the first 4 years I knew him and not once did we visit her. Mainly because she is my SIL and we do not get along at all. But I should have been willing to go just to see DL. I have thought that my girls would love it there as when we were in WDW in November we spent 90% of our time in the Magic Kingdom.

Bob's sister is married to a Jeff Risdon. I think Jeff is 35-36? Does the name ring a bell at all? (Worth a shot!)

I turned 18 2 weeks before going to college....had to get my mom to send a letter to say it was okay for me to move off campus(I was getting married...lol) when I was 19.

Which of course was going on 15 years ago!! I can not imagine letting my girls get married so young....but I didn't listen to reason very well...not that my mom gave me grief. So tommorow....I will have been married 15 years....even though he has frustrated me the most the last couple of days. :confused3 Always seems to happen around our anniversary.....geesh.

Happy Anniversary Theresa!!

Hey - I should be home all day tomorrow and we're only 4 miles off 90.... PM me if you want directions!!!

I definitely want to meet you, but this trip we are going to be rushing. I'll let you know before one of our summer trips. We always have a bit more relaxed schedule then. :sunny:

How cute! See, the DDA has a purpose in life... we are educating today's youth in geography!
