Magic Band vs. Phone for LLs

I have always preferred using the MagicBand. There is something about not having to pull out your phone every few minutes that makes the whole experience feel more immersive. Plus no worrying about battery life or signal issues inside the parks.

It's very worth it investing in a MagicBand+, just easier and more satisfying to tap into the Lightning Lanes with

I can’t justify $45/person when I can get a card for free that does everything a MB does. If people plan to return for multiple times is takes on more value but for first trip such as OP, no, it’s not ‘worth every penny’ necessarily.

Do NOT USE YOUR PHONE PLEASE. IT just slows down the line a lot if you are doing for a family. Just get a free Disney card at guest relations and everyone is happy!
