Well, what are you waiting for, girl! Let's get a trip planned! Paula and I could show you around. I've done DL itineraries for Lindsay and for Kate. I'd love to help you out, too. I tell you, next year we need to plan a DDA meet in DL so you all can come see Walt's park! :thumbsup2

I turned 18 2 weeks before going to college....had to get my mom to send a letter to say it was okay for me to move off campus(I was getting married...lol) when I was 19.

Which of course was going on 15 years ago!! I can not imagine letting my girls get married so young....but I didn't listen to reason very well...not that my mom gave me grief. So tommorow....I will have been married 15 years....even though he has frustrated me the most the last couple of days. :confused3 Always seems to happen around our anniversary.....geesh.

Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denise how is Ree's doing today? Hope all is going well :goodvibes

Thanks for letting u sknow more about you, Shana. We have a lot in common :goodvibes I am originally from Punxsutawney, PA. DH went to Penn State. I am a pianist too. I teach piano, composition, voice and music theory.

Since I have had a few PMs lately asking me about my screen name, I till tell you all together on this thread. My DH came up with the name as an abbreviation for the pianoforte, one of the original names for that instrument. I have been using PNO4TE for about 15 years now, not just on the DIS.

I've got a question that I know you can answer!! When I was going through teacher applications for scholarships(by the way some of them want the PTO's to pay for them to go to France  ) one of the teachers had a BA in Piano Pedagogy. What is pedagogy? I think I know but I hope I didn't sound like an idiot telling one of the other readers!!

Has anyone eaten at Cape May for dinner? I am trying to decide between here or Concourse Steakhouse. Any opinions or suggestions for another place?

Morning gang. I'm back on page 1247 I have about 50 pages to catch up on. along with cleaning house today, laundrey and baking something for our march of dimes bake sale we are having at work tomorrow. We had a breakfast in march and made over 500 dollars. I hope we do close to that well tomorrow.

It is a degree in the "teaching of" piano. Very specialized, and a good degree, btw.

Thank you all for the anniversary wishes!! I am getting my DDA'ing out of the way this morning. I have to print, cut, fold and prepare 1300+ bulletins for Sunday services today. We do inserts here and today of course there are 6 when normally I don't let them have more than 4. :teeth: Plus 200+ for tonight's Maundy Thursday service. So in other words I probably won't be on the rest of the day!!! If I do come on somebody call me on it right away please!!

Wow... two toally different restaurants! Cape May is a buffet with LOTS of seafood on it. There is also a landlubber's side, especially for the kids, but my DH always heads to that side too! ;)

Concourse Steak House is a sit down restaurant that specializes in good steaks. They do offer other items on their menu (which I am sure you already saw) but their strength is in their beef.

Both are good choices, but not two that I would try to compare and choose between! Has that completely muddied the waters for you now? :rotfl:

YEAH!!!! I was right! This person is a science teacher now....in school to finish up certification. My husband has a BA in Music Performance.....he can play most instruments, but he was a little rusty on the terminology.(SP)

Can anyone tell me what the website is for AP holders? I got my voucher in the mail yesterday and want to see if I can into the website.

www.disneyworld.com/passholders

Hopefully you can get on easily. I really like how they have the vouchers displayed as an option with blanks to fill in. Just don't worry if you have fewer numbers than their "example" shows. For the last entry I have 3 digits and they show a bunch in their example.

Clare - I was in a relationship once where he told me 3 times that he needed space to figure out if he really loved me -

the third time I told his *** to take a hike - if he truly loved me - he wouldn't need to figure it out!! My head was very strong but my heart was broken - luckily a wonderful man healed it!!

I know this is not ALWAYS the case but I made up my mind then and there I would never be with another man who told me he had to try to figure out whether or not he loved me - either you do or you don't - and to marry me it had better be passionately enough that you have no doubt!!!

okay - I am off my soapbox now -

I definitely can understand this! I played along with these games for over 4 years (including all of high school :furious: no wonder I hated it! :) )

I agree that there are definitely exceptions. But I would worry if it happened repeatedly!

Thanks, Tia.

One more question.....does anyone have a son that is in cub scouting? I'm just testing the waters and trying to gather some info on it.
