I did a bad thing today. I managed to avoid buying the powdered sugar donuts that were calling out to me, but I could not resist the Golden Oreos!

Wanna take bets on how long it takes me to consume them all?!! :rotfl:

Well aren't you the catty one.

But that is funny.:teeth:

Oh, I did plenty of other catty things too! And then, I advised yearbook for five years, and I got to be the world's biggest hypocrite, telling my students they couldn't do things like that! :rotfl2:

HUH?? I still don't get it! I have thought about doing the same thing...that is if I understood it. When you figure it out..maybe you can explain it to me real s-l-o-w...and with pictures might help!! :rotfl2:

Good I'm glad it's not just me!!!! I'm still somewhat confused too!!!!

I'm wondering do they adjust the price of the tickets when you add on to them. Do you know what I mean, ie: the more days the cheaper the ticket becomes, do they figure that in?????? Tell me oh great Queen!!!!

To get the dining plan you have to be on a package with Disney.
To be on a package with Disney you have to buy hotel and tickets together.

If you're an AP Holder and you want the dining plan, you have to buy a package with Disney which means you have to buy hotel and tickets together. "But I already have tickets!" you say? So you buy a one day base ticket to be included in the package.

You now have your AP and a one day base ticket. The base ticket doesn't expire until you use it. So you don't use it because you have your AP. And you've gotten the dining plan. Now you have a one day base ticket saved. Use it for a Christmas gift. Use it towards next year's AP cost. Store it away for your kids kids, because it doesn't expire. But the big thing is that you've gotten the dining plan now.
But I thought you got the dining plan for the amount of days on your ticket? Or is it the amount of days you have the room? That sounds more like it. Does everyone have to purchase the same amount of days on their ticket?

BTW this is a very good explaination.

MMMnnn... I love Golden Oreos! Definately a better pick than powdered donuts. (less evidence with golden oreos too! no powder to give away you just ate a box..)

Poor Dawn...Clare has reprimanded her twice now (double post silly! :teeth: )

Amy :)

You missed it Clare...she "accused" me first...you posted the same thing a few hours later! :rotfl2:

And yes, Vicki, you should fear me! I am the world's most intimidating person, especially with a voice so high that lots of telephone solicitors ask, "Can I speak to your mom or dad?" :lmao:

Amy :)

I get the same thing when people call here!!!! I love to say "I am the mom" and you can tell they feel dumb!!!

I need to clarify something! I was NEVER a cheerleader, but many of my students "accused" me of being one, because I smile so much.

But, I was yearbook editor, and I did put the individual pictures of the senior cheerleaders in order of who I like most to least... :teeth:

Amy :)

I AM SO TELLING!!!!!!!

I have to step up to Vicki's defence, that was me making the accusations :rolleyes1:

Go on - show us more pictures, we love to see them you're such a cute family :goodvibes

Thank you for defending me but I also made the same accusations (we're both guilty).

Now I can answer this one. YES, they do and I know this because we added an 8th day and it was only $3 to do it.

it was my understanding that it is based on the number of nights you stay...but them maybe the blue dye is traveling up towards my brain.... :rotfl2:

Right...and there were definitely more oreos in the package than donuts! :thumbsup2

And that was an excellent description of what Julie has to do to get on the dining plan! I knew what she had to do, but I didn't know how to type it out, especially after Kate's explanation confused Kristine! :teeth:

Amy :)

Wow!!!!!!!!
I didn't log in for 2 days and you did 1000 posts!!!!! I may never catch up!! I am back on 1074 trying to catch up.

But- here's my good news as to why I was away-
Check out my new car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparantly all my "charm" ;) worked out after all! (Just not for a free dining trip in the fall!) DH felt bad about having to turn it down after all so this was my "consolation" prize. :rotfl2:

I would post a real picture of it on my driveway, but it is starting to drizzle and I don't want to get it wet  It is silver like this picture, though.

Beautiful! That's a heck of a nice consolation prize.

Ah, see, I say, "I'm sorry they're not home," and I hang up. That way, I didn't lie to them, but I avoided a conversation! Of course, now that we have caller ID, I just don't answer the phone...though we're on the "Do Not Call List," so I'd love to know why they're still calling!

Amy :)

You could eat a few this way, and write it off as getting your calcium for the baby. ;)

I posted to you before I read this. I agree with everyone that the stress isn't worth the extra that you will save.

I'm going back and forth about signing up for TGM. Do you recommend it?

Beth

TGM made a major difference for me. I don't follow his plans exactly but I read all of his reasons why. I make our tentative schedule before we go but as things always happen to change your plans (weather, someone not interested, etc.), I have all his ideas and can change the plans and still get the most from our vacation. You really need to be willing to wade through lots of material but to me it is definitely worth it in the long run. We got TGM for the first time this year and it was our best trip yet. We had to adjusted our plans more than in the past because we knew that it would still be a good plan (not so much second guessing). With the discount, it is only like $17 and to me it was money well-spent. We are signed up again for next trip.
