Kevin is giving me a tutorial on posting pictures as he watches JoJo's Circus with Alyssa...hope it works!

This is a picture of all of Alyssa's shirts and my "little squirt" shirt, originally designed by Queen Kate, but modified slightly by Kevin. :goodvibes

Wow it sounds like it's all coming together for you and DVC! I wish we lived nearer as I think DH would really consider it... in fact he's currently looking at houses in kissimmee on the internet :rotfl: (He started out looking at how much our neighbour's house had just been listed for, £20k more than our last valuation and we've had a ton of work and a loft conversion done!)

I found out from the Disney site earlier that TL is shut this November, so I get to take him to Blizzard Beach for the first time, of course we're both gutted that we don't get to ride Crush n Gusher... so I said, shall I plan a trip for 2007... he said No.

So I said what about 2008... and he just smiled... :woohoo: 2008 here we come :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

There are tons of DVC members from the UK and EU :goodvibes

I think I am officially retiring from trying to make these darn shirts...it's hard to see the mickeys on the sleeves....this was my best effort:

And now that I finally learned how to post pictures, the cookie tutorial will begin! :teeth:

This is what my dough looks like in the ziplock bags after refrigeration.

The elephants are ready for baking!

Here they are approximately 7 minutes later.

This is what my counter looked like at the end of the baking process. That's all the dough I had left, but I didn't bake it as a "blob" like Vicki did...it got thrown away. :teeth:

Got a call from Hunka while I was out - he says "who's the best husband in the world???" So naturally I said you honey. he says "what's your favorite candy bar in the whole world?" So I said Curley Wurley but you know I finished all the ones that Clare sent. So he said "How would you feel if I just bought you six Curley Wurleys?" :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Paul was on Main Street in Fairport (kinda little town) and would you believe we have a candy shop RIGHT IN TOWN THAT CARRIES CURLEY WURLEYS???? I couldn't believe my ears! So I can get them when I need them! Isn't that great? It is still cheaper for Clare to ship them to me - but I can get them! I was blown away! Did I mention that I  my pirate:

He's a keeper!!!

And it is always nicer getting a package!!!! :Pinkbounc

My cookie samplers.

The elephants and lions are ready for fondant and sugar!

cookies8.jpg

I use a pastry/BBQ brush to apply the fondant.

And Kevin quickly adds the sugar before the fondant dries. He's a patient helper! :goodvibes

cookies10.jpg

All done! I'm really going to miss my counter!

Does your next house have a big counter??

Tammi and anyone else talking trips

How exciting!!!!! I think I'll have to keep living vicariously :( It looks as if I will have to cancel our September trip (already) because if I DO end up getting an offer for the unit at Children's, the organization as a whole offered me a position in the RN residency program which is an amazing opportunity. Sort of backwards since I don't even have a job offer, but it sounds like an incredible program, so I'd be stupid to say no :( Oh well.... in the long run, it equals more Disney money :teeth:

Now for the unit to get their butts in gear....

Have you put vapor rub on his feet and behind his ears?

Have you tried a cup of hot water with a tablespoon of lemon juice and tables of honey?

Also keep a humidifier in his room at night.

DD’s get this cough all the time and I get it at least once a year and have since I was little.

My mom used to give us the drink and put vicks on us, it seemed to help.

Best of luck, I hope everyone is better soon.

so you also put Vicks under your feet?? Thought it was only us crazy SA's!!

I think it looks awesome, and I really like the pastel colors, it will go perfectly with the shoes.

Luckily, it does have a spacious kitchen with some great counterspace, but nothing will ever be better than my current counter!

Thanks for asking. Last night was the first night he slept through the night. Now BK and I both have it. It feels like it's turning into bronchitis (and Rees has a barky cough) so I'm probably off to the doctor with everyone tomorrow. We just went to the library and checked out 45 books. Did I mention my kids LOVE for me to read to them? Then we got Wendy's for lunch. DH is working late, so I may take them out to dinner and to get ice cream tonight. If they feel better by the end of the week, I may try to go to the new GA Aquarium or to the Zoo.

45 books! Sounds like fun :teeth: I hope you guys feel better soon so you can enjoy your week with them!

Yes, you did! Break a leg, Matt. BTW, here's my 3 Little Pigs when they were just over one year old. They HATED the hoods, but they were so cute!

We're wearing Kristin's shirts for our trip. Me-Daisy, BK-Minnie, John- Goofy, Rees- Donald, Davis-Mickey. I think they'll look great together!

Cute pics - three little treasures!!!
