I loved, loved, loved going in December. But this deal is great, so now I get to try MNSSHP. Although I have both booked and DH and I are discussing which to keep. The big issue is the kids missing 5 days of Kindergarten vs 2 days in December. You'll love it at Christmas. It was wonderful.

I feel kinda guilty and bad...and please don't yell at me...but I just don't get that hung up anymore about my kids missing school. They grow up so quickly...and god willing, while all of us are still healthy I am going to do the things with my family that we want to do...and if that means missing a week of of school every now and again...so be it. I will say that we are lucky to have a very supportive school district who does not give families who pull their kids a hard time. I can see how that would be tough.

Ok, tentative schedule:

Sat, arrive early, MK, dinner at CM
Sunday, MGM, b'fast at 'Ohana, see Fantasmic
Mon, Epcot, lunch at PSB, dinner at Biergarten
Tues, AK, B'fast at Donald's, dinner at WCC
Wed, MK, lunch at CRT
Thurs, MGM, b'fast at 1900 Park Fare
Friday, MK and MNSSHP, dinner at CP
Sat, b'fast at CM go to DTD to shop, depart late afternoon

Me too!!! We had so much fun last year! I was going to try to push to go the last week of Sept next year, so we are still in value season, can get to the first MNSSHP, and if they offer another code like this I am sure I'll be able to convince him. Sigh- if only he would go for it this year.

His latest comment was "Back way from the computer and the crazy DIS women who are brainwashing you into thinking you must go more than once a year!"

:rotfl2:
I absolutely LOVED the end of September...there were NO crowds at all. That trip really spoiled us!

I think ours is kind of strict, but with triplets (who were preemies and have health issues) if it comes to it they'll be sick with a stomach bug all week... Not hard to imagine how they all 3 would pass it back and forth...

We've never really had crowds. Our honeymoon was at the end of August and our Beach Club trip was in early February. Last Oct was the busiest and even that wasn't bad, in my opinion

Denise, it is such a tough choice! How long can you hang onto both ressie's? Remember last year we got that code that may knock down the price of your December trip too...

Don't have to pay off the Sept trip until Aug 9.

I jumped right on TGM and checked best days and hours. Then emailed Concierge with our requests. I pretty much knew where we wanted to eat as we had so much fun in December with all the character meals.

OMG, you already emailed concierge!!!

DH just walked in to announce that he is going to bed. He sarcastically commented that you should go on both trips like I want to do!

I don't think they'd question them being sick. I don't like lying and don't want my kids to have to, but family time is much more important to me. Maybe the teachers will be cool about it.

I've worked with one CM for last year and this years trip, so I shot him an email with ADR requests an hour after booking. The 180 day window for our dates was March 27. don't want to miss CRT!

kate- where are you???? Are you searching the code boards trying to find a way to make this work?? :rotfl2:

no - I backed away from the crazy DIS women!! :rotfl2:

I never even thought about the 180 day window coming so close...
