Congratulations Heather!!:wizard: :wizard: think blue!!!

I cannot believe I have such mixed feelings about being able to see Tink. I am not sure I want her to talk. If she does autographs, maybe she could just do something that looks like she sprinkled pixie dust.

I bought ONE pin bag for the whole family. We will just carry our traders in it. No need for one for each of us. The kids already have binders that they keep the keepers in.

Did you notice the pin bag has my name on it!!!:yay:

Running from CR to MK in a complete downpour is much worse :rotfl: Trust me on this one.
Did they at least have the hand towels waiting for you? You guys are BUFF!!!!!:cloud9:  :santa: Got the 6 packs going, the 12 packs of abs. The tight arms, big guns. Even wet, anyone looking at the two of you knew you worked out. Tight, taut bodies. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hi Paula!!!!:wizard: :cheer2: :grouphug: princess:

Want to hear more about that sense of humor? A neighbor of mine was told she'd never have a baby of her own, so she and her husband adopted a set of identical twins. On the day the adoption was finalized, she found out that she was pregnant! So exciting, right? They had their ultrasound, and found that they were expecting quadruplets!!! Now, that's a sense of humor!!!

That's not funny! From 0-6 kids in under a year is definitely not funny!
My friend went through in-vitro but it didn't work so they adopted a little girl. Very shortly thereafter they got pregnant, but they just had ONE baby.:)

Hi, Paula! I hope your DL trip is extra magical! :wizard: I hope you & your family are well and that Bethie's shots are going OK.

Deb - How cute! You are in pin denial!:rotfl2: Just one bag for the family!:lmao: OK. If you say so!;)

DS's lunchbox is one of those insulated lunch "bags". It doesn't look any worse than it did before. DH did apologize to DS.
DS went to his Social Studies class this morning and made up his work from Friday, so now he is earning an "A" in that class. That teacher is available before school, which is nice since I drop him off early so I can get to work.

I am getting worried about the Attendance Zealot. I think we may end up with those WDW days being unexcused. Hopefully I can figure something out.

I have some of the same concerns but then many of the characters that we meet at Disney are larger than "cartoon" life. The mice from Cinderella are an example. I'm hoping it doesn't ruin the magic by having her available for autographs.

Good point!

Elizabeth, good luck figuring out the Attendance Zealot (:rotfl: ). I just can't fathom all the trouble people go through with public schools. I missed SO many days in school, and it was for great reasons. Here is my favorite:

"Please excuse Jennifer from school today. She will be going to Kings Island to spend quality time with her family" :thumbsup2

I also worked a really nice job, was involved in HS extracurriculars, and danced professionally for most of high school. If my mom wanted to get me out of school so I could get my haircut, she did, since there was no other time!

No lies, nothing. I did well in school, so as long as that stayed true and I could keep up with my academic load (not at all an easy one, so certainly I know I was very blessed being able to do so to begin with!) then I would miss days for just about anything! :rotfl: Nobody ever batted an eye, in fact they were thrilled that my family was spending time together. :confused3

I hope DS can get by without too much "trouble" for spending time with his family!

(And sorry to all of you that disagree with this, maybe Amy :rolleyes1 , other teachers, etc.... I did extremely well in school and never got out of any assignments, etc - and believe me, our teachers were ruthless with the load! (I learned this well in college when I was prepared but still ticked comparing previous lives with college buddies ;) ... and I continue to learn this now when I hear about current HS assignments, etc)

I still appreciated the teachers and had a great relationship with them... and I look back and don't plan on raising my kids any other way! If they can get an excellent education and still spend special times with family then I'm all for it )

I'm going into work a bit later since I'm ALWAYS stuck there until the same time anyway. I hate that, since I didn't sign on for the later shift.... but what's new. My job has quickly turned into lots of things I didn't sign on for! :rotfl:

Thankfully, I never intended to be a "career woman". I'll work what I need to pay the bills, but I want someday to have a job as a mommy! :teeth:

I think I can suck it up until that time comes... Of course, that would be easier to do if I were getting paid for the jobs I'm doing. Grr!

Have a great day... I for one am thrilled that I stayed up until almost 10pm and actually picked up all the junk in the rooms downstairs! :thumbsup2

Well maybe the DDA could put in a good word for you.

I'd take them, but the chances are slim! We only put in 2, so one of them would have to divide just like in a normal identical multiples pregnancy... and I have NO genetic predisposition for that. Still, God does have a sense of humor :rotfl:

Hope the headache is gone this morning.

i am calling it a day. I have had a headache all day so I am going to get off the computer and see if that helps.

Night all

:wizard: for the surgery. :wizard:

:)

Same with me Jennifer---I missed alot of days! one year i was out because of surgery for a month then i went to half days...but then i would schedule my appointments for dr and dentist during school

Mom would let me take off if i needed a "mental day"..just to relax and do nothing...Plus, everyyear, i would take a week off for family vacation....I always caught up and never had problems!

In college, i took a week every semester for a vacation--it was great and i still graduated with honors

Jennifer - Well, what can I tell you? TX is in the bottom 10 states as far as education goes. Funding is tied to attendance - if DS is there the school gets paid, if he's not, they get nothing. Vacations are strictly forbidden. He is a good student. He gets A's and B's with an occasional C in math. He doesn't do any activities other than school because we are worried that he won't be able to keep up with his academics. And now it seems we must have sworn testimony if he goes to the orthodontist or the diagnostician.:sad2: Stupid. I have gotten his absences excused every time except in 4th grade when the school claims they never got a note. The note got lost between the teacher and the office, which could be why middle school has the Attendance Zealot. The kids bring their notes directly to her - no teacher in the middle. By the time I got the notice that DS was truant for having 4 unexcused days the 72 hours to turn in a note was long gone and they refused to allow me to write another note.:headache: Hence my ALMOST misdemeanor truancy charge.

Nothing much going on today. I'll see how Princess is feeling and decide if she's going to school. We have play group this afternoon. Momboss said I do NOT owe money on any of the baskets they are doing. Hopefully the moms coordinating the baskets are aware of that!:rotfl2:

Have a great day, all!:)

Is she going to speak? I think she should just "jingle" and the handler should interpret.:rotfl:

I like that idea! I was thinking too that it would be good to have her sitting cross-legged on something as well, as opposed to standing.

:wizard: that peace will surround you as the surgery approaches.
