I think that pin bag is a little more than we need. The kids probably only have about 30 or so pins between the 2 of them.
I'm glad Lucy seems to be feeling better.
Thanks Tammi!
Thanks! But I am home now!![]()
Thanks. I told DH to go apologize.
Mine is ready to mail, does that count? Maybe if Princess is well enough for school tomorrow I can get to the post office then.
I hope Emma enjoys Scouts!![]()
Me, too! How are you, Karen?
No, no, no. You've got it all wrong!![]()
Your children NEED pin bags, one each, with their names embroidered on them. THEN they need more pins. Lots and lots and lots of pins to fill the bags. DS has over 200 pins in his bag and there is room for more. I am going to sit by your kids at breakfast and tell them ALL about pins.![]()
Thanks, Elizabeth. Remind me to not let you near Emma

That's sad! You should plan a mid-August trip with them so I can spend some quality time instructing them in the fine art of pin trading.![]()
Attention Dallas-area DDA (and anyone else interested in traveling):
I just signed up to get an e-mail notice when King Tut tickets go on sale. The exhibit opens here Oct. 2008. You can print a certificate that guarantees you will be able to purchase up to 8 adult and 8 child tickets. Since I don't know if DS is an adult or a child by their rules I put 3A/1C. I have no clue what to expect in terms of ticket prices, but at least I am guaranteed to have tickets available.
They weren't terribly expensive but I can't remember exactly how much. I so wish I would have realized the exhibit was in Philly sooner. I found out on the next to last weekend. Emma is fascinated with Eqypt right now. Every day she comes home with a new book from school. Looks like it will be there for 7 months, maybe a January trip will be in order.
