Deb-love the Disney pics...Jimmy wanted more pins from the Disney Store this weekend...I had to remind him we have no trips planned right now. :sad1:

I picked up a Mickey cookie cutter at Disney to try out the cinnaman applesauce ornaments, but I had another idea, only my "Disney" friends will appreciate this one, :goodvibes

Very nice, Debbie. Did the crispies stick to it much?

You've got the 2 most important things taken care of...way to get there and a roof over your head while your there!!

The rest will fall into place!!:yay:

Thanks Theresa. I've been panicking a little here. I have to go to Lansing this week for 4 days and for another 4 days next week. That is 8 days out of the 17 that I have left before we leave. I have a Christmas Party with my team in one of the 9 days remaining. I know that we'll have a good time when we get there.

We aren't worried about no ADR's. Neither of us mind counter service now that we know where to go so we aren't eating hamburgers and fries all the time (our big mistake the first year).

Deb - love all of the pictures! You did a great job with the pin frame.

My weekend was extremely busy. Saturday was a complete bust, as far as shopping goes. I did manage to get long sleeved white tshirts for all of us, as well as one present for my dad. Today was much more productive. We got the whole outside of the house decorated. All I have left to do is put out the village and the Nativity. Then we did some more shopping. I got Nicholas a new bike for Christmas. Bob took it home and will put it together for me. I also went grocery shopping and stocked up on supplies for the sleepover. I did lots of laundry, but not as much as Theresa. The white tshirts are washed and the designs are printed. I just need to iron them on now.

Blech.....back to work tomorrow.

Hopefully I can kill this migraine again. :headache:
Hope you're feeling better!

I just placed an order with Garden Grocer. No worries about soda exploding on the airplane lol

Bernadette do you meet them in the lobby?
After I checked in I called bell services to see if they had been delivered and they already had so bell services brought them to our room. I don't think they tried to call me before delivery as I had given them my cell phone number and I never showed a missed call.

 everyone! The Christmas tree is up, lights are on the house, but totes are scattered everywhere! And they are still full. I'm not in the mood anymore to put up decorations - but mom is here in 6 days. Guess I have too...

Everyone ready to go back to work tomorrow? :teeth: Me neither.
Not ready. No Christmas decorations even started here.

Love your new goofy!

What is the percentage discount for a room using AAA? I don't want to book a package (or a room for that matter). My sister wants to pay her share of the trip (even though we are staying DVC). We planned on staying at Pop so I'm trying to let her know what the room would cost if we were to stay at Pop.
Depends on the resort level and season:
During Value Season you can get up to 15% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 20% off at the Value and Moderate resorts and the Ft. Wilderness campsites.

During Regular Season you can usually get up to 10% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 15% off at the Value and Moderate resorts and the Ft. Wilderness campsites.

During Peak Season and Summer Season you can usually get up to 10% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 15% off at the Value and Moderate resorts.

The only time AAA/CAA discounts don't usually apply is Holiday Season (around Christmas) at the Value and Moderate resorts.

SO CUTE!!!!!

My 3 children's Godfather is Uncle Joe.

Hey you just changed your signature lol
Everyone is confusing me!:rotfl:

WOW! How hard was it to do it? I have the cookie cutter and thought about trying it but I have a hard enough time getting the mix in a pan.:lmao:

I just took some picures of my new Disney displays :cool1:
Very cool! Love the photo collage. Maybe I'll get one of those frames when I go to use my Kohl's Cash.

Oh, and our annual passes expire on the 5th so we have to get new ones with the renewal and DVC discounts. That will save us some money but I still have to get them. I also need to renew my DDE card. My only problem with that is that we'll have a meal at the resort before we get to a park to get the card. At least you can get the DDE now at the parks (or was it DTD?). This should be an interesting trip! :confused3
You can renew DDE at any Guest Services-so any park and I would assume DTD also.

Where can I buy tank tops for adult and child sizes that can be used for iron-ons? I want to get some for our June trip next summer. This is the trip that is the most important to me of all that we have planned.

I really want to show my mom, sister, niece & nephew a wonderful time at Disney. My ex-BIL isn't in the picture so if anything ever happens to my sister (which we hope never happens), Chuck & I would be the kids guardian. We don't get to see them often enough and whenever we do, I'm trying to build major memories and family bonds.

Are you kidding? I'm freaking out here. :scared1: What in the world did I get myself into? We have a reservation at the Brown Derby one night, breakfast with Elizabeth & Tammi one morning and otherwise nada. We did order our MVMCP tickets but I haven't seen them. I have to call about ME because I forgot to add that. I do have plane tickets and a room.

You'll be fine. You want a relaxing trip anyway. The turf club at Saratoga was delicious. Try the house potatoes, yummy

I'm loving the Disney pictures. Those are neat. Mom brought frames for the cartoon drawings we had done of the girls at Disney in 2005. I just have to decide where to hang them. However, I decided before I do that, I want to make a photocopy on Chuck's 11x17 color photo copier. I want to make them smaller so that I can scan them. Becky is a Karate Master and Katrina is a mermaid.

Chris and I had a characture done our honeymoon, but I haven't seen it in a while.

Deb-love the Disney pics...Jimmy wanted more pins from the Disney Store this weekend...I had to remind him we have no trips planned right now. :sad1:

You should be listening to Jimmy. Start stocking up now :lmao:

That sounds productive. You have less than 2 weeks before your trip. I'd never be ready. I haven't wrapped a gift yet

So I wouldn't be lying to my sister if I told her that I could get a 15% discount at Pop Century for June 6-14? I planned on giving her the total quoted on the site and then telling her what my discount would be. We were going to put Katrina in the room with her in case the AAA holder has to be in the room. All 4 of us are AAA members.

Try Kohls.com. Search under knit tops in the women's section. It might be hard to find a big selection now though.

I haven't either. I haven't bought anything for Bob yet, and I have no idea what to get him. Haven't bought anything for my mom either, and just a few things for the kids. YIKES! :scared1: Now I'm scared!

I need to get to sleep. Goodnight ladies.

Can I renew annual passes at all Guest Services as well? I'm concerned about getting the renewal and DVC discounts. Or should I order them before I go?

I always buy locally. JcPenneys, Kmart, Walmart or Kohls. This is not the time of year to look though. I'm sure you can find some online. Tomorrow is cyber monday so there should be sales everywhere. I hear overstock is going to have a huge sale. We'll see

The AAA member only needs to be there at check in, but does not have to be in the room

Goodnight

I'm pretty sure you can though I've never tried

Jen your new signature is really cute, but now cowboys in sight :confused3

I'm off to bed. I want to get up early in the morning to get a bunch of stuff done. I have some personal errands to run before I head to Lansing this week. I'm not sure if I'll be leaving Tuesday or Wednesday for Lansing yet. I have to be there until late on Friday. Ooh, I just realized that 5 of my team are going to be down there for the Team Lead meeting. Three have to go down for Thursday & Friday and two are going down for just Friday. That means maybe I can have someone in the car with me part of the way back on Friday. That would be nice! It makes the ride go faster.
