How does the sharing of the photopass CD work?

Everyone gets their own photopass cards and gets their pictures taken during the trip. When we return, I enter them all in as my photopass card numbers and order them all together on one CD. I then make copies for everyone that ordered. That way we share the cost of $99. There is no way that Chuck & I would ever get $99 worth of pictures taken in a short trip like this. I don't know if there is a limit of card #'s. I haven't heard of one in the past.

If you guys don't want to share, remember to preorder (& prepay) for the CD to get a 20% discount. www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx

 to you & Bethie!

We have given Bethie 5 shots so far. :guilty: The first 4 were very difficult for her :sad1:(I didn't have much fun either), but last night she cleaned the shot area with alcohol herself as well as picked the shot site. :thumbsup2 She still does not want them and tries to negotiate out of them. I think the main reason for the pain is because the meds are so cold.:scared: It says to give as soon as you can once taken out of the fridge. We keep praising her growth and also have a chocolate jar which was purchased for rewarding after the shot. :cheer2: Thank you again for your prayers!

poor kiddo (and mom too!!) Sounds like she is getting accustomed to the shots. But still needs lots of hugs and kisses

Sounds good, put me down :thumbsup2

Vicki - congrats on 8000!

Lindsay - the MNSSHP guide came today. Thank you!

Paula - :grouphug: I'm glad it's slowly getting easier.

And to think, my stranger meets started with you & I! I was just scrapbooking my 2006 trip and have the picture of you & I. I remember feeling silly at the time wondering if you really cared to meet me or if I was just being silly. I couldn't believe that we were sitting two rows apart by chance. It seemed like fate meant for us to get together. Hard to believe that was over 1-1/2 years ago already.

:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

That was fate, being just 2 rows apart from each other!

Well, it sounds like you're over the hump. I will keep all of you in my prayers - hopefully, even growth shots will continue to be sweeter with the promise of chocolate at the end! :goodvibes

That would be great, thanks!!!

I will send it tonight - the info. is on my computer at home! :thumbsup2

Lindsay - Hello!!:yay:

Vicki - When we went in 10/05 the only time I got bitten was at MNSSHP on the treat trail in Toon Town. The exhaust from the Speedway sort of settles back there and I think mosquitoes are attracted to the smell. I also got bitten once on our IllumiNations cruise, but I've never bothered to bring repellant.

We were eaten alive in Frontiertown during the early parade in Oct 2005. I hear that they aren't bad this year. I've been quizzing people that just got back.

I just received my copy of the MNSSHP flyer from Lindsay. Thanks. Now we have something to review on the plane and during our layover in Chicago. We are going to be at Disney in three days!!!!! :cool1:

We got ours too!!! I'm hiding it from the kids eyes :rolleyes1

I'm glad that it is getting easier. Shots stink and there are no two ways about that. Tell her that all her DDA auntie and really proud of her. Could you post a picture of her against the wall showing her height then update photos as she grows. We would love to give her lots of great feedback.

I had a fitful nap. I really haven't slept soundly since I started the meds, but at least I rested and gave my body a chance to mend. When I got up I put all the kids stuff in my trunk to bring over to my parents. We'll be heading over to pick up Colby soon. I'm thinking that I'll either make Turkey soup or Turkey Noodle Casserole for dinner tonight. I feel on top of things at the moment. I hope you all have productive days.

My family could use some extra prayers and PD, if anyone can spare any.

You all know the trials and travails of my brother. The latest short version of the story - went to the rehab in Florida (complete waste of time and $$), and came back to Houston and has been living in a halfway/after-care house. That has appeared to be a good experience for him - was working the 12 steps, had a good sponsor, and (unbelievably) was able to get back into his former career with a different company, at the same pay grade.

Fast forward a month or so - and he wants to leave for Florida again - without having completed his 12 steps, no job, no prospects, no place to live, etc. (If you'll remember, his latest round of rehab was prompted by getting fired from his job, and deciding that he was going to leave for CA to be in the movie-making business.) Well, just change the location/vocation, and it's the same story. This time, he wants to go back to Florida, and be a tattoo-artist. And again, leaving everything behind that he has been working on - his sobriety will probably go by the wayside, as well as his stable career, etc. He's also refusing to take his other meds (he's OCD and a host of other things).

My parents met with him and his counselor this morning, all 3 trying to dissuade him from this, namely by showing him how this won't work any time soon, being that he won't have any money once he pays my parents back for all they've loaned him. He just doesn't get it, and is insisting that he'll be leaving for Florida in about 3 weeks.

I am just numb to this situation now, but of course, it's really weighing on my parents, and they're worried that he will go off again, lose his sobriety, and a host of other horrible things that happen to people with mental illness and no resources. If you could, please pray for strength and courage for them, as well as for SOMETHING, ANYTHING to get through my brother's head that this is not a wise decision for him. I know I would covet your prayers for all of them. Thanks, friends.

 Hi, all! I haven't had a chance to read to much, but I'm so excited for all of you getting ready to leave for Disney World!!!! :woohoo:
