Lord help me.....Katie is going through terrible patch where she is ignoring me & when she does answer it "yes...moooommmmm" (like I am bothering her). :headache: I am going to pull my hair out (or hers!). She's always angry & moody. It's not hormones, she is just so fresh...She has an answer for everything.
I really need to go to Disney & have a break from all the arguing with her. :rolleyes1

This morning it was 50 degrees & she came down dressed in shorts & tee shirt. She raised all heck when I told her to put on pants. She said "you just hate me!" What????If I hated her I'd let her get cold!!!! I don't get it!!! I wasn't raised by my mother & I just don't understand her annomousity towards me, like I am just so "uncool". I am going to scream!!!!:scared:

I love her so much but I don't enjoy this part of her personality...oh I need a "mommy's time out":sad1:

Sorry for the rant, I just feel so helpless & saddened by her attitude.
:grouphug: Anne Marie. How old is she? I forget. I don't have any advice since I haven't gotten to that stage yet. That's actually why I'm asking how old she is, so I know when I can expect it. ;)

Caught up... I had not bee on here in over 24 hours, so I thank you all greatly for keeping the posting down!

I had a board meeting this morning and then I drove to Richmond to bring Kristin home for a weekend of R&R. Taught all afternoon/evening and then came home to cook dinner for the two of us. Bob is back in PA with his parents again. We ended up doing a wheel of brie in puff pastry with cranberries and walnuts. Added salad and fruit and we were happy!

Sounds like more PD is needed again tonight. I also predict that Virginia will be here this weekend!

Good night, all! :)
That sounds yummy!

Hi all! Busy day today, but I'm just popping in to say that yesterday's appointment was at least an improvement, and the cycle is past this particular obstacle! A lady I know just had her retrieval canceled, though, at the very last minute... which has me a little freaked out. I continue with injections and go in on Monday morning with plans to schedule my retrieval and transfer! Please keep us in your prayers... we are bouncing back and forth between dread and optimism!

:cool1: :wizard:  :grouphug: :grouphug:

Tammi you can dry the shirts in the dryer, just don't use a fabric softner sheet. I always dry in the dryer.

I went to the 90th birthday party and was surrounded by old people that I really didn't know. Most were family, but I can't even tell you how we are all tied together. My mother was very happy that I went so that is all that really matters. After the party I picked up groceries for the rest of the week and a few snacks for travel. I also found some Jolt gum which may come in useful on Thursday night :upsidedow When I got home I scrubbed the bathtub and scrubbed it and scrubbed it. Our water leaves a rusty looking residue and only iron out will get it off. I am not feeling up to the nasty fumes of iron out, I would need to get Chris's respirator from the shop to avoid the fumes and it isn't worth it. So the tub will remain dingy for now, at least I know that it is clean even if it doesn't look it. Yesterday I tackled the toilet so tomorrow just the vanity and floor and that room will be done. Having 4 boys in the house really shows in the bathroom. We also need to winterize our camper tomorrow as the temps are starting to drop below freezing and we don't want frozen pipes.

Will somebody please kidnap me and sneak me away to Disney World next week. Pretty please with a Mickey on top. I was hoping for a last minute bargain flight, ain't happening. Cheapest flight is $189 one way and $169 the other.

So work and my life has been pretty crazy.

Today I took my CPR class. Tried on about 60 pairs of jeans till I finally found some that fit. I was all over the place, to a variety of stores till I found some that fit.

This is all because for our United Way campaign at work. If you gave a donation you can wear jeans on Friday. Well I haven't worn jeans the last 2 Fridays since I didn't have any that fit. AKA, they were all too big and I gave them away.

One of my co-workers asked why I wasn't wearing jeans I told her I didn't own any. She said you can buy jeans all over the place. You shouldn't have a problem finding any that fit. I could live in jeans all the time.

One of my other co-workers said to me I could easily find jeans too if I were built like she is. I was glad to know I wasn't the only one who felt this way.

I have been exhausted all week. I have felt like I am getting sick but have not, as of yet.

Sending prayers, :wizard:  :grouphug: to all of you

I agree, finding the perfect pair of jeans is very tough. I always try on way too many pairs to find the ones that are the right length, hit right across the waist and feel comfortable, not to mention how they make the butt look. Of course I just ordered some Jeans from disneyshopping and I can't try them on in advance. I ordered a size bigger than I normally wear as that was all that was in stock. I'm thinking it is a crap shoot at best :rotfl:

Wow, only a couple of post since I was here last. Ya all must be busy getting ready for your trip.

Evening all!

Jennifer sending lot's of :wizard: your way!

Jennifer  for getting off work early!

Deb I hate cleaning our bathroom. With 3 guys in the house I can relate.

Becky I have a hard time finding pants that fit right as well. With spandex being in most jeans now, I never know which size to get :confused3 I just bought 2 pair from J C Penny's & they are a little baggy, but if I go down a size they look like I have a wedgie :rotfl: I would love all jeans to go back to true fit & do away with the stretch!

I feel as though I will not get my packing done till Tuesday night. I had planned on going shopping after work today getting last minute items & supplies for here at home. But after 9 1/2 hours at work, it just didn't happen. Oh well hopefully tomorrow. I do feel better, just worn out.

I am so far behind and trying to catch up, but I just had to respond to this, Anne Marie. It is most certainly a stage and it WILL go away. Meanwhile keep strong in your displeasure with her attitude and eventually it will stop. I have been through it with two daughters and also with countless students. This time of year seems to be avery ripe for the behavior too. If I have had 1 parent complaining about their daughter's behavior I have had 10. It always amazes me how downright nasty a pre-teen or teenaged girl can be!
Thanks Elin, that makes me feel better.

okay here is the photo from today

The top one she is looking at you, the bottom one she is looking up.
Oh how wonderful!!!!!

She's 11.:cool2:

We had a busy day at the store today. Very crowded & hard to keep up with the lines & have the store tidy too. So many things went on sale I had to keep myself under control.;)

We got Taco Bell & are hanging at home.
Tomorrow we have a birthday party for a friends son & then I work Mon-Wed so I have to find a time to pack!!! I was going to bring 4 outfits for the 4 days. I was going to wear a tee shirt & shorts/capris to the CG if everyone thinks that would be ok. I don't have a dressy shirt that wouldn't look too overdone if you know what I mean. I am deciding on whether to bring a carryon which would be easy or a large bag that I would check....I guess I will have to lay everything out & see what can fit...I'd like to travel as light as possible.

I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Lets go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yay:

I think I'm calling it a night. I go a bit car sick heading home from today's party and it is still lingering in the form of a headache. I might as well call it a night and get up and get somethings done in the morning. I have to be at work at 3:30 PM tomorrow.

Goodnight All

make sure you guys take photos of the resort. So I can see it. Can't wait to read everyones trip reports.
