Got it! Love the slideshow you put together :goodvibes

I made Rees a CarePage where I will post updates now. Can I email the info to someone who has the DDA email distro list? I don't want to post the info here as I just want the DDA to have access, not the entire DIS.

It is so relaxing to sit on the balcony in the morning & evening. Hopefully some year I will make it back here ::yes::

I have to tell you that Bob and I are total AKL converts. We loved it there. In fact, one day I stayed at the resort the entire 24 hours. I spent lots of time wandering around, taking pictures, relaxing by the pool. We both said that is where we will stay next time we go to WDW, but we would make certain to have a Savannah view room the next time. We had a pool view, and it was nice. But, not worth the additional money, in our opinion. The only problem with going with a standard view room is that you run the risk of gettin a REALLY bad view! There were no Savannah view rooms available with our terrific rate on the Dining Discount "package" that we got. So, to be safe we opted for pool over standard. But, I would love to be able to wake up and open the draperies to view what I had to go seek out every morning at 6:30. Amazing!

Sorry the Crocs are not working out for you Stephanie. I love my Crocs, they were the only shoes that did not give me a blister this trip.

Darn Crocs. Since I have to send back the pjs I bought DGS (too small) the Tink jacket I bought DGD (she won't wear it), I might as well send these feet killers back too.:headache:

We really enjoyed Meet the Robinsons. Speaking of which, I never got my soundtrack in the mail! :sad2:

Lindsay, thanks for the link to the Linens n Things coupon. I had a fun time shopping with it at Bed Bath and Beyond! :thumbsup2

Vicki we went the 1st week of Oct. last year & got in on the free dining. I think it started in August??????

I think there was free dining offered with the bounce back program, not sure what that time frame was though.

I have made significant progress on the playroom and surrounding areas. It's amazing what you can get done when you actually get off your butt!! :rotfl:

Not much left to do. I have a dresser in the girl's room right now that needs to get emptied and moved into the playroom. It will hold their ever growing American Girl stuff. and their TV.

On top of that we have completely rid our house of Barbies. They are going to needy kids :rolleyes1 Actually they are going to Mr. Garbage but Emma does not need to know that so please don't tell her. :rotfl: Not one of the Barbies was in decent enough condition to warrant giving them away. They sure don't make things like they used to.

Thanks for the input on the outfit. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet. And thanks for the congrats on the milestone. I would have cried if I hadn't of gotten it. :goodvibes

Sounds like everyone is enjoying their Saturday. I need to hop in the shower. My mom and cousin are meeting me here and then we are driving over to a friend's house to play cards. Have a great night DDA!!!

Elizabeth....I can burn that song on to a cd if you would like..shhh!! I could copy the whole CD if you would like.

I really just want that one song. I have a thing for Rob Thomas, but I also really love that song.

How cool to have a celebrity in our midst! :thumbsup2

Twice we have booked standard and twice we have been upgraded to pool view. Now we are spoiled by pool view and I will probably go ahead and book that next summer so we don't end up in those really HORRIBLE standard rooms on the sidewalk to the buses.:scared: And I know they DO put people in those rooms because we saw pool towels on the patio. (Watch me end up in one of those in December.) I usually get up at 5 AM to get ready for the parks, and DH and DS are up by 6 AM. Breakfast at 7 AM and bus by 7:30 to get to AM EMH by 8 AM. Since somebody in our room is usually partially dressed I can't open the drapes - they have cameras, you know.:rotfl2: I don't mind not having a direct savannah view. I am fine viewing the animals from the common areas. I do want to try Beach Club at some point but if we are going to do a Studio I want to be at AKV so we have double sinks.

We went grocery shopping, then to Walmart. I made potato soup and at 6:00 we are going to Halloween bingo.

I love Bingo! I hope you win!:thumbsup2

When was free dining last year?

On Bounce Back you could book if you were onsite Nov. 8 - Dec. 31 for a stay Aug. 5 - Sept.?30? 2007. I think they opened it to general public in April and it was only for arrivals at the very end of August through September. Bounce Back free dining was offered in September & early October 2007 for arrivals starting Aug. ?31? through the end of September 2008. The current Bounce Back is room only discounts.

Have any of you flown Northwest Airlines? Anyone know anything about them? I've never flown them but I can get cheaper flights from them out of Marquette so we are considering flying them. Thanks for any info you might have.

I flew with them once and, truthfully, Kyle and I still talk about how bad it was. The planes are TINY, the staff was rude, nobody followed rules about carryons etc (so much so that a woman with a 7-week old child was forced to gate check her freaking diaper bag!) and it was an incredibly frustrating flight.

That being said, my grandmother and aunt fly with them all of the time (hub is in Minneapolis, where they live) and don't hate them. They have their share of complaints with them, but haven't stopped flying them.

I absolutely hate southwest (sorry everyone! :rotfl: ) but I'm flying with them again in December. The real question is, how much of a deal are you getting on the flight? I think that makes the difference for me. I'm willing to pay a bit more for an airline I like... but not if the subpar airline saves me a ton of Disney money!

Brandon is here and we finished carving our "hunkins", we had Glynis's pot roast for dinner, he loves it. Next we will be baking Halloween cookies before watching Transformers.

Thanks to "Mickey Mouse" for his stickers, he said he was going to take them to school and share them with his teacher.

ARGHHHH... I have been fighting with photobucket all afternoon. Everytime I try to edit a photo the site goes blank on me!

Halloween Bingo sounds wonderful!!! But I love bingo.

I have a headache for basically 3 weeks..it flared up this afternoon..I know I am going to stay home from the party.

Right now we have a tempermental 11 year old....good gracious she is already giving me more trouble than Cassidy has.

We really enjoyed Meet the Robinsons. Speaking of which, I never got my soundtrack in the mail! :sad2:

I can burn a CD for you too if you want

So Jim and I went to a small group at our church to try it out tonight. The only other couple there was absolutely wonderful:goodvibes It seems that they are very, very similar to us.

There was a reason that it was just the two couples....so we could get to know each other better.

He retired from engineering and is now a shark pooper scooper at the Denver Aquarium and she gives riding lessons at their home. They have already invited us to bring Abi over to ride a horse. :goodvibes

It was a good way to end a super horrendous week. I basically turned in my resignation today...I have informed them that I am actively pursuing other job opportunities. :sad1:

I'm sorry that this has been a bad week for you. I hope that the perfect job shows up for you, and that everyone is happy about it!
