Speaking of my being pregnant, I just have to say, I feel fat.

When I was pregnant with Alyssa, I felt cute all the time. When I look back at pictures, I wasn't that cute, but at least I felt good.

Now, I just feel fat. And Kevin has a way with words, "You're not fat, you're pregnant." Thanks honey.

That happened to me with Julia and Nick too - I would say "I feel like a fat cow" - and my very sweet DH would say "Honey - you're not a cow!"

Don't worry Amy - have you ever looked at a pregnant woman and said - man she is fat?!?! O fcourse not!!!

Okay - well I haven't seen you since you got a real bump - but I can tell you that Marti and I decided we didn't like you ver much b/c you still looked that good 4 months pregnant!!!!!!

So I am guessing you still look cute!

Now as to why you feel fat - I am going to guess the whole novelty of pregnancy wears off for the second one and now instead of thinking "wow - I am going to have a baby and then I will be skinny again!"

you are thinking - "once I have him - I will still have the baby fat and I am going to have to work my butt off to lose the baby weight!!"

I am thinking this is the one time that a pint of ice cream might be okay to eat when you are feeling fat!!!!!

Man, I just don't feel like working today ....I have a 1000 things to do around the house...plus I thought I'd go to the REI store today and look at the crocs. I have the clog style (no holes) I wear them every day...even though they are pretty ugly.

I really do think it has to do with the fact it took me so long to lose all of Alyssa's baby weight. I was finally feeling good, and now I'm gaining weight again. But for a good cause.

I just keep looking at all the pictures from our December 2003 trip when I was five months pregnant with Alyssa, and I'm truly happy (and cute ). I hope that that genuine smile comes back during our trip, because right now every time the camera is out, I have to force a smile.

My fingers are crossed that the Disney magic will help me forget I feel fat!

Jen, Prayers for your Grandfather! Makes it seems extra special that Kyle matched near family!


My DH, the Eye Dr. does not prescribe meds for pink eye, unless I beg him! He say s he has never seen pink eye that is bacterial although it is possible. So yes, after 10 days, Denise should definitely go in. Jim says neither he nor any of his partners have ever seen bacterial Pink eye. Medical books say it does exist, so do millions of moms!!!!

Went out of town this weekend. Decided to give Chick-fil-a a while for breakfast. Normally, if I am going to do bfast out, I’d choose something other than fast food, but we were planning on Cheesecake factory for lunch, so we headed to the cow place. Great recommendation girls! We loved the mini biscuits. Megan wanted to get the big biscuit but I remember Amy said not to get it as it was too dry! Thanks!

I went shopping for Megan (10) and Grace(6) yesterday in Charlotte. I did buy Megan 1 outfit at abercromie, she had to have it! And she'll have to wear it a ton! But for everyday things, I guess we need to stick with Old Navy and Target. I was so disappointed with the department stores. Once in a while i find some good things at TJ Maxx for Megan, but it is a shot in the dark. Any suggestions. I like to but them outfits or pieces that match.

I was also very disappointed in gymboree yesterday. Thanks!
Disny Store have anything cute now? I am headed back to Charlotte next week and could try to find the Disney store.

Gymboree's not doing much for me lately, either. I like The Children's Place. I also like Target for Kaelyn.

We live in a small towna nd I am so tired of the same old place and the smae old clothes and all the kids dressed alike. I wanted some thing different, but I guess that is not meant to be.

I am off to the gym when it opens at 1 and them back to get Grace to shop for clothes at Traget and Old Navy!

Our stores do not open til 1:30 on Sundays! It is the LAW! Some old time Law because of church! You should see the people lined up outdie of stores waiting for doors to open! Especially places like Lowes!

Walmart is open becuase they sell groceries, but you cannot buy hardlines til after 1:30, they have it roped off with caution tape!! Ahh the south!
