OK...good stuff first!
I don't check the boards for 3 hours and I have 5 pages to catch up on!

Kate - Love the new design! I'm sure your getting PM'ed to death now! (Can you make one with the castle outline and Cinderella inside? :rotfl2: Can you make one with the tree outline and AK logo inside? :rotfl: Can you make one of a Mickey bar outline with a Dole Whip inside? (Hey wait a minute...that's a good one!) :lmao: )

Cinderumbrella - Love the simplicity! Simple designs seem to be popping up all over this board lately. It's great! And you can NEVER go wrong with Red, Yellow and Black.

tink2020 - When do you officially find out he's matched? I know it's Thursday sometime, but I just wanted to make sure I check the boards for when you might post!

I try the bridesmaid dress on Saturday at 1pm at our local David's. Excited, but nervous about buying it a year and a half in advance. I'm petrified about gaining, hoping I'll loose some, but I also don't want to wait to buy the dress because it might get discontinued... I was able to tease the groom about having to wear a pink/mauve vest though! I plan on taking my digital so I'll post a pic!

Now for an update about Grandpa:
He had emergency dialisis today because of the kidney failure. Goes into surgery tomorrow at 6:30am to remove some blockage in the ureters (sp? It's the tubes between the kidney and the bladder..) Both are blocked due to the cancer he has. Depending on how well he handles being under, they want to remove at least one blockage, if not all three, and then try to remove some of the cancer to decrease the pressure. :worried: Now we just wait.

Sending pixiedust: and :grouphug: to everyone that might need one! Thank goodness the week is almost over!!!
I will keep him and your family in my prayers

for the dress - I think that I would hold off - if she goes in and registers her dresses at David's - they would let her know if they were going to be discontinued and then you could get it - also if she gets her dress there - you would all get a discount on the dress

Nick and Hunter got the Rodovirus at the same time. It was horrible. They were 2 and 4 at the time. Hunter got so lathargic that I brought him to the hospital and they decided to keep him overnight for rehydration. That left Nick with my Mom when he started with it. She brought him up the next morning and the pediatrician took one look at him and admitted him too. They put them in the same room which made it easier for me to take care of them both. The IVs worked miracles and they were both released the next day. That is one nasty virus.

Deb

It was so scary. And it really set Jacob's development back. He had just learned how to walk, but after his bout with the virus, he could barely sit up by himself. It was another couple of months before he began walking again.

Hey -

I think that was the most posts I have ever done in a row!!!

Glynis - you messed up my streak!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

OH and UP Disney -

singing from that person has been less than impressive!!! Taylor and Chris are my new favorites

but as you can see from my previous post - they could send them all home and start over in my opinion - I called Carrie in her first audition - no one has really just struck me this year!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm hoping I'm not one of them.

I actually feel pretty apathetic about it all, except being thrilled to just finally KNOW. I actually feel a lot like I did on the night before my wedding. I've been known to be a basket case, like... MOST of the time (no, not me, right? ). So naturally, we excpecte me to be one of those hysterical types... but I woke up that day like "whatever". Not whatever in a bad way.... but just very calm, very excited but not so much so that I couldn't function. Not even close, it was probably the calmest day of my life. :confused3 I think because I spent all my anticipation the months before hand... much like this! So we'll see.

I also have to sit for 2 hours while Kyle has a lecture (not cool, huh?) so we'll see if that holds up when I have nothing to do but watch people set up and talk about it.

Thanks for the good wishes though.... I'll update you all tomorrow! :goodvibes

:wizard: :wizard: For Bethie, Christopher and Nick :wizard: :wizard: We hope you feel better soon.

:wizard: :grouphug: For Grandpa :grouphug: :wizard: We hope the surgery goes well and that much can be taken care of at once.

:woohoo: :woohoo: I hope that the match day goes as planned and you end up in the best possible situation. You have been stressing about this for so long. :woohoo: :woohoo:

I hope that I didn't miss anyone. If I did I appologize, there were 8 pages and I didn't take notes

Has anyone heard from Denise? I hope that things are looking up.

Deb

I did think of that, but I am spolied staying on site & using Disney transportation. I'm hopeless lol

I just don't think I could wait until next March. It is Becky's (Rebecca's or whatever she wants to be called today) senior year and I told her we would go one last time together in March (if she still wants).

TOO funny with the name issue. I have this dilemma all the time. I blame it partially on my parents and but for the most part on my Kindergarten teacher. He had a rule that you had to write your given birth first name on papers. Therefore I had to write Rebecca. Even though I had to write Rebecca on papers he would call us by whatever nickname we wanted to go by. So he called me by Becky because that is what my parents called me.

My parents named me Rebecca but always call me Becky even if they are mad at me. My Grandma on the other hand always calls me Rebecca Ann, no matter what, never Becky, never Rebecca.

To this day I almost always write Rebecca, on the Dis and email with friends I have started using Becky. In college people would see my name on things as Rebecca and not know who it was. Never thought about my name being Rebecca. Hence starting to sign emails and things with Becky

Just a little muse on my name conflict. Thought I would share since I share the same name as your daughter. Sometimes I think the name conflict is the Gemini coming out in me and the twins not being able to make up their mind

Out of curiosity - does anyone pay attention to the rest of the board or do you just stick around in here?

I have new designs posted and thought that those of you who don't look outside this thread would like to know -

this is my favorite of my new designs

castlecinderella.jpg

If I had time I would read all the other threads, I have been struggling to keep up with this thread. I love this design btw. I think this is my last post I am reading for the day. I worked 12 hours today. Or is it had 6 hours of first aid and CPR training and worked 6 hours. Either way I am being paid for 12 hours. Off to bed perhaps.

Hey Marti - Julia is trying to think of what to send you - maybe I will have her pirate some cookies for you at the party!!!!!!!

Note to self: Assign someone to watch Julia like a hawk at Alyssa's party since Kate is encouraging her to steal again (like the underwear incident!). :rotfl:

Well, I can cross something else off my long list. My dad's turtles are done and ready to ship. There were even a few that didn't fit in the container, so Kevin's happy too.

Tia, I'm glad to hear you had success with my cookie recipe. Vicki, keep me posted. Kristin and Jennifer, I'll PM you during naptime tomorrow. :goodvibes

Hey, does Michaels sell dark t-shirt transfers? I have a 40% coupon.

Goodnight everyone!
Amy :)
