I also noticed all the references to Chick Fil-A even after she promised she would cut back! I think you should take a road trip to Alyssa's birthday party to straighten her out!!!!

You know - I'd take the trip if I thought it MIGHT straighten her out - but alas, I don't think it will do any good! There is NO straigtening Amy out!

Hey Vicki, both you and Marti have my cookie recipe, and I've never heard how they turned out! I have a feeling Marti never baked them, but what about you?

Of course I didn't make them - I'd have been on here gloating that I was the only other person beside Amy that could make them - but I doubt she gave out the right recipe so that she can be the ONLY one that makes them correctly.

Well, I can cross something else off my long list. My dad's turtles are done and ready to ship. There were even a few that didn't fit in the container, so Kevin's happy too.

This trip we tried a hint we found on this board about ginger tablets for motion sickness. I used to be able to do all kinds of rides but as I'm getting older, I can't handle alot of motion anymore. The ginger tablets did the trick. One in the morning and one at night starting the day before we left. I was fine until I did Expedition Everest (What a fantastic coaster!) a second time in less than 15 minutes from the first time. I decided I'd wait until next year to try out RnR after that.

My DH has always had motion sickness and never rode coasters in his life. He rode all three mountains and didn't have any trouble. We will be recommending the ginger tablets to others. Dramamine always made him drowsy so he didn't like to take them.

The ginger tablets worked great for DH this trip too, with two exceptions... the mummy ride at Universal which messed him up for the rest of the day... and the flight home, where he was pretty green for a couple of hours... I asked the flight attendent for some real meds as we just couldn;t find the ones as I bought as back up - within 10 minutes he was fine!

We're off to the Dean's Match Dinner..... which means absolutely NOTHING except that the Match is tomorrow! Oh, and free food. Always good.

So, can I get the ginger tablets in a drugstore? My oldest, Katie, gets motion sick if I mention we're going somewhere in the car. We always have to take along an old, plastic ice cream bucket. I'd love to be able to have some of these on hand for her.

I've been mastering Brownies, with chocloate chunks and mashmallows (and all completely dairy free) but I did buy some proper cookie cutters in January so I may be brave and try and make some more of your cookies at Easter, I just need to find something to ice them with, after seeing how yours turned out at crimbo I really want to make some

OH and UP Disney -

singing from that person has been less than impressive!!! Taylor and Chris are my new favorites

but as you can see from my previous post - they could send them all home and start over in my opinion - I called Carrie in her first audition - no one has really just struck me this year!!!!!!!!!!

Taylor is my fav guy, and Katherine is my fav girl. Although I can see Taylor getting on my nerves if he doesn't slow down on the funky moves and the WOOs!

I got a note from Nicholas' kindy teacher yesterday. There is a confirmed case of chicken pox in his classroom. Half of me hopes he gets them, just to get it done with and out of the way, the other half doesn't want to go through that. Hopefully that vaccination will either keep them away, or a lot milder than I remember mine being!
