So Kyle and I just watched the History Channel Modern Marvels show about WDW again. I had seen it, but he hadn't so we recorded it the other day.

I wanna go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As soon as it was done I mentioned that some DDAs were going down in May. He thinks it's cool, but didn't suggest I go or anything. It's 2 weeks before our graduation trip and a week or so before my NCLEX.... but I really don't care right now! I won't have a job yet, so I see it as the perfect time to go!

Oh, you absolutely should go on the DDA trip! That would be a great way to de-stress before graduation, moving, starting up in a new place, etc. I would definitely recommend it for you!

Ok. Katrina e-mailed me the picture of Tinkaroo (Lindsay) & I at Disney. Now you know why Becky thinks Lindsay is gorgeous. Her DH is gorgeous as well. They are also a very friendly couple. We really enjoyed our short conversation with them.

Pal Mickey may be in there as well (much to the dismay of the rest of my family). If he isn't in any of these, he'll be in the ones once I get them from Katrina (if she hasn't deleted them - she is sure that Disney is brainwashing me through Pal Mickey - she also says he probably has a GPS tracking unit in him so they know where I am at all times and that they are recording my every comment ).

My goodness! Lindsay, you are absolutely GORGEOUS! I knew you were beautiful from the pic in your siggy, but this picture is model quality.

Vicki, you ain't no chopped liver, yourself. You have such a gorgeous smile! It looks like you all had a great time! I love to see pictures of other people having fun!

Paul, I love this design. I loved it when Kevin did it, I loved it when Kristen did it, and I love it again for your family. That's one of the best things about these designs (and the designers); things look good for everyone! It's nice to see you out and about on the board again!

I guess I am a real designer now and not just an addict! (Ok maybe not a designer, but a design modifier... ) Here is the one I did inspired by Kevin's wonderful new Mickey head design. I altered it a tad to fit our trip. What do you all think?

Hello again, out there!

I am WAY back on page 666 (I will not read anything into that number!), but wanted to let my fellow DDA'ers know that a special on the Disney Cruise Line just came on the Travel Channel. It's not a new one, but I'm re-recording everything on my DVR that I already have on tape, so my TV just automatically flipped over to this.

For those going on cruises soon, thought it might give you a nice fix!

I'll try to catch up to everyone else soon - hope everyone is doing well!

Well I say the more the merrier!!!! ReAnSt is thinking about coming too - so you would have someone you could roll your eyes at when we all start talking about poopy diapers and missing our kids!!!

what is the NCLEX - I thought those were Boards for nurses but maybe I am wrong? or maybe you are the type of person who does better not studying right before these things - I myself was a crammer but I know people who just KNEW the material and never had to worry about these kind of tests!

All except the one of Lindsay & I are PhotoPass. We got the CD for $99 of all the photopass pictures we had taken. There were 80+.

For those of you with kids, you have to hit the Character Connection at Epcot with your PhotoPass. You can get photopass pictures with each of the Fab 5. There are usually a couple of other characters in there as well but those you need to get pictures yourself. Rebecca was able to get a lot of new autographs this trip and several of them were when we checked in there different times of the day for the additional characters.

yeah, I just don't know that Kyle thinks we can afford it. what does he know?! I agree though. I actually graduate the first weekend in May, and have "nothing to do" (aside from moving, etc ) until I'm allowed to take my NCLEX in June.

Roll my eyes about that?! I'll just be jealous that you have babies to talk about and miss!

As far as the NCLEX, you got it! It's the national licensing exam. I ... don't think I'm going to study much We had the HESI assessment exam last week that predicts probability of passing, and I'm comfortable with what I got and how prepared I feel as of now.

That's not to say I won't review. I have two books I'm going to read through, but I don't plan on flipping out about it.

I came home from work tonight to 9 new pages!! I don't have the time to respond to each of you individually, but I did read every post. I know that lots of Congratulations are in order, as well as several prayers and a few jobs well done. Please, if you fit into one of those categories then that comment is for you. .

I have a splitting headache. One of the waitresses had on way too much perfume and I think that triggered my headache. So off to bed. Dh and I are celebrating the 19th anniversary of our first date today. Too bad that we only got to spend a couple of hours together due to work. I guess that is a big milestone. .

No. I actually have my finals for school next week! After spring break. My professor hates us. No, actually we just have role transition after that so classes are DONE!

The NCLEX I can schedule whenever, but I have to wait for "permission to test" after the board of nursing reviews my degree, background chec, etc. That usually happens early June, so either right before or right after our graduation trip.

OH - i have lots of questions for you!!!

The pictures are all in JPEG format. You have to purchase the CD before you leave Disney. You can't do it online. They do allow you to look at them and they will add borders and clipart around the pictures (which increases the actual number of pictures since you also get the original unchanged version as well) before they burn the CD. We had about 80 pictures but ended up with like 107 actual files on the CD once we added the borders, etc. You can only do this at Epcot (to right as you are entering the park after the Leave A Legacy plaques), Magic Kingdom Toontown & a resort (I think it was the Grand Floridian). You can look at your pictures at Animal Kingdom & MGM but only the pictures taken in those parks (so you wouldn't be able to get the CD there).

They give you a Photo Image CD Sale agreement that states in part:

"Buyer agrees that he/she shall not resell, or otherwise use in any commercial manner (i.e., use, dupliate, display in any form or fashion, whether now known or hereafter developed, for the purpose of receiving or facilitating the receipt of financial remuneration or any other consideration), the CD, the digital image files contactined on the CD, or the photographic prints created from the digital images contained on the CD ("Photographs"). Buyer and Seller agree that buyer shall have the right to create duplicates of the CD, the digital image files contained on the CD, and the Photographs for personal use and to give as gifts, so long as such duplicates are not used in a commercial manner as described herein."

This allows you to make copies of the CD. They told me when they gave me the CD that the agreement could be used to take the pictures to someplace like WalMart and that should be enough for them to allow me to print copies as it gives me the right to make copies of the photographs for personal use.

I can't answer your second question. We didn't think about even asking about getting a second photopass until the week was almost over and didn't have time to check into it. We thought about it when the girls would go off on their own and I would have liked both of us to have a photopass card. If you get the answer to this while you are there, I'd love to know the answer for our next trip.
