Oh Marthaumbrella, what a wonderful job you have done. I might have to use the idea it for Ellie's room.

Kristin, I love your valance. My girlfriend did a construction room. For her window treatment, instead of a rod, she hung the vanlance on a shovel. It was so cute!

I modified the idea and did my son's sports room with a hockey stick as the rod and sports flags as the valance.

I am wondering if my DDA friends could send pixie dust and prayers my way tonight. Bethie (the 2 yr old that is 20 lbs on a good day fully dressed and soaking wet) has some kind of bug. A few days ago she had a fever, I gave her Tylenol and off to bed she went. The next day she was her normal turn my hair gray / give mommy a heart attack self.

Yesterday she had some liquidly BM diapers, nothing abnormal she has those ever so often because she drinks piedasure everyday and I add baby formula for extra calories.

Today, again normal self until lunchtime she says my tummy hurts. Ok, so I ask her what she would like and she says a milkshake. No big deal, I give her one of those a week (yes the Dr knows all of this and has told me to do so many months ago to put weight on her) she picks strawberry.

I pick up Ellie from preschool and we all go home. So Bethie has another liquid diaper (not urine) and then my carpet is decorated in a lovely shade of strawberry milkshake. After Bethie decorates, Ellie from the smell and visual does her own decorating. I had to get the carpet cleaner out. Fun was had by no one.

So now today alone she has had six non-urine liquid diapers and vomited strawberry milkshake. But the girl acts like alls good mom. She was running around the house jumping and so on.

I just can’t take it when she looses weight; it freaks me out because she’s so little as it is.

So if you would send prayers and pixie dust my way tonight that my little crazy baby girl gets rid of this bug soon, I would appreciate it.

my two and a half year old weighs 24 pounds - I always worry when he gets sick

one thing I have learned is that when I give one of my kids dairy when they don't feel well they tend to throw it right back up - so the vomiting might be a reaction to the dairy

having a sick little one is no fun - sending you pixie dust for a calm night and a better day tomorrow!!

Geez Kate - I DIDN'T get it until you pointed it out! I always tell people my real name is Martha - no, not Stewart!

OH - i have lots of questions for you!!!

Can you copy the cd? I guess probably since you just copied them to your computer!!!

Can you get more than one card on the CD? - For example if Marti and Paul each have a photopass - can they at the end of the weekend combine those two passes onto one disk or is it for one photopass card only?

I know you were not asking me but I will answer. I had two cards and they do combine them for one CD. I think he told me they could put a certain number of photos, which was way up there on a CD. So as many cards as you have can be added. Yes you can copy the CD once you get home. I made copies for my neice and mom. Hope this helps. Just make sure you get the CD done while you are there because it cannot be purchased online. We loved ours and thought it was a great buy. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for responding. She pointed the question at me but will also be happy to get the answer from anyone who has it. This was a question that I wanted answered for our next trip! I'll make sure that we get two photopass cards next time.

Personal Milestone for me
:cool1: Post 600 :cool1:

I've been posting like crazy tonight. I'm off to bed now. It is way past my bedtime. I live in Central Time Zone and am usually in bed no later than 10:30 and it is currently 11:47. See you all tomorrow.

I'll be interested to see if you all go on a posting party and I miss post #11000 since we are less than 100 away.

Once again I am listed last - does anybody else have a problem with this!!!!!

Just read it in reverse order. Maybe his thinking was backwards. :rotfl2: Or think of the movies...the important stars are either first or at the end of the list with an and...

When my DH was in Medical School my sister (queen Kate) said if he ever leaves you, we are all standing up and saying, she really did put him through medical school!! She deserves more than half of what he makes forever!!! :rotfl2:
People really don't realize what a long hard road it can be for a doctor & his family!

Jim has boards on March 28, we could use prayers and pixie Dust here! He is on his way home now and thinks his ulcer has flared up! It is so stressful!!
Here you go.....pixiedust: :wizard: pixiedust: :wizard: pixiedust: :wizard:

On a different note, my grandfather isn't doing to good. His prostate cancer is flaring up, and causing a backup of fluids which is basically poisoning his blood system and causing him to be dilusional (sp?). He had surgery yesterday, which didn't help since he was taken to the ER this morning. Still waiting on the call to see how he's doing from today. Hopefully his second surgery (laser) will be rescheduled from the 24th to tomorrow or the day after. Send prayers and pixiedust: his way!

Saying prayers and sending :wizard: to your grandfather, Chanon. Keep us posted on his progress.

Oh, Theresa, that is wonderful news!! What a relief it must be for both you and your mom. I hope you do get some answers though.

Ok. Katrina e-mailed me the picture of Tinkaroo (Lindsay) & I at Disney. Now you know why Becky thinks Lindsay is gorgeous. Her DH is gorgeous as well. They are also a very friendly couple. We really enjoyed our short conversation with them.

DDAFriends2006.jpg

You can see some of my other Disney 2006 pictures by clicking on the link in my signature. They are of my DD17 Becky, DD20 Katrina, DH Chuck & myself.

Pal Mickey may be in there as well (much to the dismay of the rest of my family). If he isn't in any of these, he'll be in the ones once I get them from Katrina (if she hasn't deleted them - she is sure that Disney is brainwashing me through Pal Mickey - she also says he probably has a GPS tracking unit in him so they know where I am at all times and that they are recording my every comment ;) ).
That's a very nice picture, Vicki and Lindsay.

Lindsay - I was going to ask, how can you look so "pulled together" at WDW, but then I remembered this was taken at La Nouba.
