Still no news on grandpa. Would call, but my mom flew in from NV yesterday, and it's still 5:30am to her.

My cousin, Sabrina, is FINALLY getting married (07/07/07!) after 11 years of dating. I got THE call yesterday. I had set her up with my best friend from high school, and last July he finally asked her. She's already picked out the bridesmaids dresses, with a lovely tea rose (aka mauve) strapless dress. I really don't want to buy a dress for 07, but I'm afraid that it will be discontinued before the end of this year! Maybe I'll be joining the Weight Loss Accountability Thread...
Should be an interesting wedding with height issues! :teeth: ...the groom is 5'3", the bride 5'7"; best man 6'2 and I'm 5'4". :teeth: I'll be a blast though! If anyone is interested here's the dress. (The color she picked is the second from the last.)

I hope everyone's day is wonderful!

What a beautiful dress. I like the simple style but it's really classy. The color she chose is also very pretty.

Personal Milestone for me

:cool1: Post 600 :cool1:

I've been posting like crazy tonight. I'm off to bed now. It is way past my bedtime. I live in Central Time Zone and am usually in bed no later than 10:30 and it is currently 11:47. See you all tomorrow.

I'll be interested to see if you all go on a posting party and I miss post #11000 since we are less than 100 away.
Personal milestones are always fun. YAY for you!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cool1:

Vicki - Your photopass pictures are really nice. I need to take advantage of photopass more. All my pictures seem to be of my kids. This way we would have a lot of family pictures.

OH, I wore this one last summer in a wedding. She picked Apple. I'm a redhead and wasn't Thrilled about it but it is a very beautiful dress and the color turned out good too. You can't really see all of the detail on the top, but it is gorgeous!
I left it big so you could see the detail on the top of the dress.

Thanks a lot. I made the change. Does it look better? I also made two different ones. Which one looks better? Would you change anything?

Kevin I love this one too!

Now, here is our other tee design. I'm thinking that the previous one is actually going to be a front of a shirt not the back. I just like it too much. That also means, the designing is complete for our trip. Yeah!!!

Now, I must crop picures for autograph books. Only 9 days left. But I've got to go to bed -- I do have to work tomorrow.

Welcome back Vicki, glad to hear you had a wonderful time!

Did you miss me? :rotfl: I had a wonderful, fantastic, awesome trip. The weather was in the 70's and sunny all week. A little windy but I'll take that over the 6" of snow that have already fallen this morning. We visited all 4 theme parks several times each, played at both water parks, enjoyed shopping at Downtown Disney, relaxed at our resort and caught a performance of LaNouba.

I had the same problem when the kids were younger. Now that they are older it isn't an issue (actually there are some that I wish they didn't take!). Photopass is great because we can get all of us. We usually will ask others to take pictures at least a couple of times but since they don't know how to use our camera, they don't always turn out.

Hi Lindsey  Welcome back! I agree the day I leave is the worst. I am so jealous of the ones arriving :(

Helloooo DDA!

We are back from another magical trip at the World, and I am unfortunately already suffering those post-Disney blues. I cried like a baby at the end of Wishes on our last night  , and then wanted to commit bodily harm to all those checking into the Poly yesterday with their welcome leis around their necks! :rolleyes1

Amy, no more Chick fil a jokes

Okay, I'll back off Chick-fil-a, but can I tell you (and Marti and Matt) that I decided to go ahead and bake my "famous" cookies for Alyssa's birthday party (elephants and lions). Now will you be making another 8 hour road trip on April 1st? It's a Saturday, so you-know-what will be open!!! :teeth:

And thanks for pouncing yesterday! :goodvibes

Amy :)

Congratulations :cheer2:

Just wanted to share that Kyle did match. We still have to wait until Thursday to find out where, but we don't have to scramble! Keep those students in your prayers, though, that did not match. The next few days are going to be quite tough for them, one of Kyle's friends included.

I understand a cautious attitude too - but Kate is right; Paul is a big teddy bear and he's the BEST with kids! Just ask Amy!

Yes, he only let Alyssa fall off his lap once (and he was kneeling on the floor, so she didn't fall far :) ) and he also knew the key to her heart: the magic cracker!!! :rotfl:

Deb these are wonderful, great job!

I am going to share my designs here, but I won't add them to my design gallery until after our trip. These designs will probably go on the front of a shirt and the character name with clipart that I did before will go on the back.

seriously - you let your DH FORBID you to do something -that just doesn't sound like you Amy - at my house FORBID actually means "DARE"

The word "forbid" is not being taken lightly around here, but since it revolves mostly around finances, I'm gonna have to let it slide this time. ;)

There are a great pair of clowns at La Nouba that represented this very well. One of the clowns did something funny & the audience clapped. The other one ssssshhhhh'd us and made the gesture with both hands on either side of his face expanding with a noise like a balloon expanding.

That's pretty much what happened at our house last night when Kevin read Deb's post! :rotfl:

My internet service is going in and out this morning, and I really should be making the turtles I promised my dad for his birthday, so my posting party is over for now.

I hope everyone has a great day! Here's some extra :wizard: for everyone who needs some happy thoughts and some :cheer2: for all the good news too!

See you all later!
Amy :)
